My mom had a gel mani which turned out great, but I had an acrylic fill that are almond shaped. My nails came out lumpy when I asked for a gel colored tip on them and they weren't shaped right, and were uneven. They weren't bad but pretty much don't ask for any special requests, colors or shapes. They pretty much can just do the basics. read more

This is the third place I have been to. The last two places that did my acrylics, my nails popped off before even a week went by. The staff got me right in even though it was a busy holiday weekend. The gentleman that did my nails took my old acrylics off very gently. He did exactly what I wanted and did a great job with the nail art I asked for. This is the only place I go to get my nails done. It's clean, and the people are friendly. I always ask for Jerry to do my nails (yay Jerry!!) And he does a great job every time. He's helpful, and doesn't mind when I ask him to keep making my nails sharper (I like realllly pointy). I'm never going to any other nail salon. Now several of my friends and coworkers go there for their nails, too. I Highly recommend it. read more

I LOVE this nail salon. I have been to many and am pretty particular about my mani-pedis. One of the most import parts is the massage. Where most nail salons just slap on lotion and call it a massage, @ Paris Nails you actually get a hand/foot massage. I've been very pleased with each one of the manicurists. Not one has disappointed. Its a bit out of the way for me, but I continue to go because of the personable staff & excellent service. read more

i LOVE LOVE LOVE this place for my eyebrows. I used to live nearby when I attended CLU and one of my roommates went here to get her eyebrows done quite frequently. One day I asked about it and she recommended I go see Trish. Ever since the first time Trish has done my eyebrows she has been AMAZING! I know this may seem exaggerated, but its not. She waxes them, shapes them, cuts them, plucks them and then fills them in for you at the end. She creates a beautiful shape and even throws in a mini massage on your temples for an added bonus! The cost is great too, she only charges 10 but i usually tip her 5-10 dollars because I love her work that much. If i was rich enough to hire her as personal staff, I would definitely do it. Shes not in the salon often though, so if you want to make an appointment with her, make sure to ask for her when book for eyebrows and they will let you know when she will be in next. Shes a very nice girl, who knows eyebrows very well and does an awesome job! :) read more

I really do not like this place. I was desperate to get my nails done. This place was close by and were the only ones taking people late. I called in advance for a price quote. Full set coffin gel acrylic nails.She gave me the price. I said OK I will be there soon. As I got the guy to do my nails I told him what I wanted he told me the price. As I got to the shaping part I told him I want to coffin. He said I would be an extra charge. I was kind of confused because I thought when I called I thought the shit was included with the quote. It was only a few dollars more so I said OK. Then he asked did you want gel? I told him yes. He said OK that will be an extra charge.I was confused again because I had called in advance and asked for everything that I wanted and for some reason the price was still going up. Then he said do you want Matte or gloss and I said Matte. He said OK that'll be three dollars more. At that point I was just getting so frustrated on how many times the price kept going up. When my nails are done they looks OK. They were shorter than I wanted. If you're going to get coffin you have to have a certain length and he didn't know that length. They were shorter than I wanted and it looked really weird having short coffin nails. When he put the Matte on and had a cured in the LED light it still had a semi gloss. It was not fully Matte. When I asked him about it he said oh you have to let it dry. Why do I have to let it dry when the LED cures it? The customer service is really great. He had a bunch to talk about. I just wish they would not change the price on me for different times. read more

This place was pretty good for the service I needed. I didn't come here to get my nails done, I just got an eyebrow wax. The lady did take her time and did an awesome job. They were pretty packed when I arrived as a walk-in and they still accommodated me in less than 10 minutes, so overall I'm pretty happy :) read more

I was on vacation and decided to try this place out after reading the reviews. Sure, they were clean. The service was ok. There was only one other person in the shop at the time. I wanted a mani/pedi. They started on my feet and then another lady started on my nails. This would have been great, but I got a gel manicure so I had to balance everything on a pillow on lap! Seriously! Twice the gel machine started falling off the pillow. If they are going to do a mani/pedi at the same time they should have chairs that make it convenient for them to access your nails instead of the awkward, uncomfortable reach arounds. They did decent work, however my gel manicure only lasted about 2 days before it started chipping. After only one full week my polish had completely chipped off!! I've had numerous gel manicures in the past and never had them chip or peel so easily. Typically, they last over 2 weeks!! The place may have been clean, and at 10am they were attentive since there were only 2 of us in the shop, but there skills are seriously lacking! There are plenty of nails shops that I have seen in Cali. Any of them would be better than this place! read more

This place has become my second home. Mary, Ann, and Laura are absolutely amazing. I come here for my manicures, pedicures, brow wax, and upper lip wax. The staff clean my nails so well. They are welcoming, friendly, and have amazing rates. There are two younger girls on the weekend who provide great service, but the weekday(er) staff are still my preference. I assume that's why they're usually much more busy on the weekdays compared to the weekends. read more

I've been to nail spas all over the Bay Area, so cal and my new state of North Carolina and this is by far the worst. I was here on vacation last week and came here due to the nail art pics. I don't know where these pictures came from but the man who did mine was horrible, I had to ask him 3 times to fix it because it looked nothing like what I asked. He buffed my natural, long and VERY healthy nails with an electric drill (which no one has ever done to me). He buffed them down so much that now all my nails are ripping (which they've also never done with the exception of catching them on something). If I was local I'd go back and ask for refund and show them my four ripped nails that naturally ripped on their own. I'd also never recommend this place. This is only my second yelp review I've written because I feel so strongly about it. read more

I came to this nail salon for a full set and let me just say, I don't know why I stepped in this salon in the first place. The employees there did not greet me when I walked in. I waited 20 minutes for them to finally seat me and when they did, they rushed me. My nails came out crooked and when I would tell them to file it down they would get upset and talk amongst each other. They also told me they don't have a dry coat to finish so I ended up with wet nail polish that did not dry well. Bottom line DO NOT GO HERE. This place is cheap and the owner is rude! read more

Stellar service! It was my first time here; made an appointment and was late, but they still took me. Jerry did my nails- pink/white full set. Awesome job and was very kind. We chatted about super random existential things, which was a nice change from the usual banter at a salon. Will definitely go back if I can get him again! The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that the entrance is a little random (you walk between clients and there is no real reception area except for in the back) and the price was a little more than I expected (paid $35). I didn't have a good experience here. The guy I had was rude. He didn't greet me & when he finished doing my nails (which some were crooked) he didn't say anything to me. He didn't even give me a fan or anything else to dry my nails. He just walked away & I was like uh ok?. I don't know what was up his ass lol the only thing I liked was the color that I picked out. It's been about 1 year since I've been here for a pedi. Staff are nice enough. Paint job is good. Doesn't seem super clean though... Looks they Re use the gloves they use during pedi & I don't know if instruments are sterilized. It will probably be another year before I return, frankly. read more
