I went in for a pedicure, and it was hands down the worst service I've ever had. The technician rushed through the entire process, did a sloppy polish job, and didn't even bother to clean up the excess polish around my toes. It was clear that she had no interest in providing a good experience--just rushing through to the next client, except there wasn't even a crowd! To top it all off, she had the audacity to ask how much I paid, and when I told her, she responded, "No tip?" Absolutely not! A tip for what--bad service? No thanks. My pedicure was good here but my gel manicure not so great. I'm not sure what went wrong but the polish stained my nails. It's been exactly one month now and I still have the coloring from my gel manicure. I've had two gel manicures elsewhere since and the techs think someone forgot to put a base coat on which caused the staining. Always love coming back home to Paris! The salon always smells good and you're greeted soon as you walk in. I recommend coming early (they open at 10) because they're so popular in the community! Totally go for a pedicure. They have massage chairs and you could get your feet and calves sugar scrubbed, washed and massaged. Then your legs get wrapped with hot towels while you get your toes cleaned and painted. Very relaxing and soothing. Honestly if I'd get that once a month, I'd be set. Not showing you my toes but I got a manicure too. You also get your hands massaged and lotioned before they get painted. Getting my nails done has always been hit or miss. I usually have to visit 3 or 4 before i find a technician who satisfies me. I decided to treat my mom and myself to a gel set. After waiting for about 40 minutes, I finally received service. First, the salon was hot. It's a beautiful day in the Chicago area but it's 87 degrees. The Salon's front and back doors were open but the air conditioner was off. For the price they charged, you would've thought they could afford to turn the AC on today.  While Sitting in the waiting area, I had to swat bees and flies that entered through the opened front door. The technician didn't sculpt the back of my nails and the front should have been sculpted more, too. My nails are thick and artificial looking. Wearing a mask, swatting insects, dealing with the heat, and shoddy work turned my pampering time with my mom into a sweatshop nightmare.  Just think, I paid $90 for this. Technicians need to slow down and do a better job. Oh, well. read more

Me and my sister decided to get our nails done this Saturday evening. Came to the door and they signaled that they were closed but they close at 8:00 pm we arrived at 6:30pm. A hour and a half before they were supposed to close. The door said 8:00pm and online said 8:00pm. We pull out of the parking spot and see them scrapping the time off the door. Well they have earned my business for many years but once I get the only young gentleman in the shop and he starts the process and shift to another customer leaving me sitting there with foil on my finger nails for over 30 minutes. After sitting and watching him remove polish from another customer nails and then beginning the process of polishing her nails. I immediately got up and walked out. I haven't been to this nail spa in year, I really liked it here when they first opened. The service provider was rude and argumentative upon me requesting to use my own nail polish as it's a color I prefer and a brand they don't carry. I almost insisted that I leave because of this. Me and my best friend decided to go here on a fly from the moment we walked in a few of the ladies had attitudes which set the mood for the rest of the evening. As we continued with our service my friend got done first so she was getting ready to pay so I asked could I pay as well the lady said yes i confirmed my payment through Zelle might I add and the ladies proceeded to ask us about a tip now me and my friend always tip but we like to carry it in cash mainly because we don't like that if you were to use a card they can go back in and recharge you . As the evening go on the ladies keep harassing us about a tip and even proceeds to stand over my friends shoulder watching her type in every number I then begin to tell them that if you ask for a tip in such an aggressive way people would be less likely to give you a tip and I want those ladies to understand you messed up your blessings which led us to tip y'all two dollars every single time you asked I knocked off money ! I love Paris Nails in Chicago Heights. The manicure lasts minimally 3 weeks - longer when I use rubber gloves to wash dishes or my dogs. And light weight gloves when doing yard or housework. My sister's gel no chip manicure lasted #3 weeks, still looked good and only got another manicure because she was tired of the color. They are reasonably priced and I mean reasonable. I've never had to wait more 5 minutes if ever. I do however call first during prom season and holidays. You don't smell the acrylics and you don't have 5 people waiting in front of you. read more

Open on Sunday! I didn't get the name of my nail tech but she was great. Went for full set acrylic and pedicure($40) They have very comfortable lounge chairs with plenty of pillows. No air bubbles nor crooked nails one of my major peeves! Cuticles were perfect on both hands and feet. The Pedicure was excellent..feet were very smooth. Warm towels around the legs were a plus. Regular polish selection heavily consists of reds pinks and dark purple so bring your own polish. They have a big selection of no chip and a few mood polishes. read more

I went here on the recommendation of a friend. I did not have to wait on a Saturday afternoon. They were nice and quick. I got both a manicure and pedicure and was in and out about an hour. The gentleman who did my nails was nice. The place was clean and the wasn't a strong nail polish/acrylic smell. I will definitely go again. Well let me start by saying this. On September 17, 2021 I went here because I noticed it was a SPA and I was tired of regular pedicures from other nail salons. So I tried them out. The pedicure I got was PERFECT! The massage chair was AWESOME, the woman who did my feet was AWESOME. But the man who did my nails? He was horrible! I called the nail salon THREE times and let them know what was going on. I came back today on my off day to get my NO CHIP nails and toes fixed because ALL MY NAIL POLISH had came off. The man got real disrespectful and refused to fix my nails and they didn't! It was really less than 10 days because on the 19th my nails started to bubble and chip and that's when I FIRST called them and alerted them. I told them I couldn't come automatically because I had to work but I'll be in contact and let them know. I called that following Monday on the 20th and let them know that I couldn't make it because I had to work on my off day and I could come the following Monday, which is today. Dirty!!!! No liners in pedicure bowls. One container for shared between two workers, & the instruments inside looked like they were being shared between two customers. Pedicurist doing man next to me threw in the dirty nail file, on top of the one being used by my pedicurist. I said something. Manicure: there was a dirty used towel on table, where I was supposed to put my hands, I told her it was dirty, she took it away, wiped table, but never put down a clean towel, just a brown paper napkin. The woman who sat down next to me also told her manicurist to remove the dirty towel in front of her. She at least got another towel. They were using polish that the bottles were near empty, and my thumbs, that I had done in another color, were painted too thick, so as not to be smooth...goopy. I was also charged an additional $5 for wanting different colors on my nails, which they didn't inform me of, found out when I got my c.c. Receipt, & I questioned it. My first time here was my last time here. Do yourself a favor, call the board of health, and avoid this place. read more

They have horrible service. The employees lie about how long the wait is just to keep you there so they can get more money and they lie about how long it will take to do your nails. The man told us it would be our turn in 5 minutes and our nails would take 15 mins. My mom and I went there today and arrived at 3, the man told us it was a 15 minute wait. He told us is was our turn at 4:15. Btw the place was very empty and they only had like 3 people doing nails. They also talk about you in Chinese ( they thought we only spoke English). I have been very nervous to visit any kind of salon since covid hit so I've been doing my own manicure and pedicures at home but being 9 months pregnant its starting to get difficult so I decided to go treat myself for a manicure and pedicure. When I walked in it seemed covid compliant but as soon as I was seated in the back I can tell they are not! I did let the woman do my very rushed manicure and I had the woman that was going to do my pedicure hovering over me not giving me any space to finish my manicure which I felt I was being rushed into the pedicure chair. Once my feet were soaking I noticed no cleaning sprays or disinfectants anywhere in sight. Soon she brought over a package that looked like used instruments with used nail file and foot pumice. I asked her if they were sterile and she said yes but I knew better and should have never let her touch me. Also she used the same gloves before me but just turned them inside out! I knew better and should have left immediately but I didn't. She wasn't using cuticle remover to softener my cuticles she was skipping parts of the pedicure! This was the fastest pedicure I've ever had in my life and they are overpriced! I hope I dont catch covid from this place . Please be very careful if you decide to go here! I don't even want to give them one star. They have terrible customer service. I was coming for a no-chip manicure, waited over 2 hours for it. Didn't even get that. I was so disgusted with them, that I just decided to have them take my old no-chip polish off. The lady wasn't understanding that I no longer wanted the service done. She kept working, even after I told her to stop. She then tried to charge me $10 for a "soak off". NOTHING WAS SOAKED OFF?! She drilled and peeled the nail polish off. Very dated, unprofessional and rude. Employees speak loud and giggle amongst each other while manicurist quickly does your nails to hurry to the next victim. I came in for acrylic nails and the manicurist didn't listen to me. She didn't give me a manicure, just attached acrylic tips and painted my nails! I never had problem with this salon before until this visit. I come every 2 weeks most of the employees know me. Today there was a new older guy that did my pedicure. He stopped my pedicure to talk on the phone, he got upset when i asked him to buff a certain part of my foot, minimal massage, and then got made when i told him the paraffin wax too hot and it was burning. When i told him it was burning he continued to leave it on (he speaks english), so I myself moved his hand and took the bag off. He then threw both bags in the pedicure sink and waved his hands at me basically saying he waant finishing. Another guy came and put the paraffin on nicely at a cooler temp. The original guy came back with attempt to finish and i told him no ill wait for someone else. He AGAIN threw the towels in the pedicure sink and walked away and called me stupid (in english). My nails were ready for new polish so I came here cause a family member goes here.
