I went to a local salon when I got back to Arkansas to have the polished removed. Apparently, I have a fungus on my nails and feet because of this place. My doctor said this happens when equipment is not sterilized. It will take weeks or months to get this cleared up. I paid 90 dolloars for this pain, discomfort, and itching. Beware of this place! Well, on Thursday April 13th I went into this shop with a few friends. I was getting a pedicure and a full set acrylic nails. During my pedicure I noticed that the nail technician was being a bit rough and I said that he hurt my toes a little bit and pain after getting my toes done is typical for me. Being a diabetic you have to be more careful about things like this but i've never felt so much pain before that experience. It was difficult for me to walk the very next day causing me to miss work. I went to a doctor where she told me my toes were indeed infected and was prescribed antibiotics for that. I've called the salon looking for a solution and being over-talked I was told they have no idea how this could happen because their shop is very clean, to my frustration I hung up. I am very lucky to not need serious medical care for this issue but I would like to bring awareness to anyone going here for services. they're very rough and not very clean at all. Used to come here everytime to get my nails and eyebrows done when i used to live in indiana. They had great cusomer service and they already knew my sister and i since we would always go. I would get acrylic nails and no chip and i was always satisfied. The girl that would do our eyebrows would do them pretty good as well. Wow is all I can say, is this place horrible! Went in the other day for a pedicure and I have never felt as uncomfortable during a "relaxing" experience in all my life. The pedicure started with the technician yelling at me because when I showed her the color I chose she told me that's a powder not a polish I need to pick a color. Then she stormed over and grabbed the color swatches and shoved them at me saying "pick a color pick a color". I chose a regular polish because it's just my toes ‍and she asked me if I wanted no chip. After telling her no she then tells me how LONG it's going to take my nails to dry and the polish won't last as long, I should choose no chip. I refused and as we get started she asks which pedicure I want. About 10 minutes later she shows me the prices again and says I should get the 40 instead of the 30 because it's good for my skin. I already told her I wanted the $30 one but she kept trying to upsell. She then continued to tear up my cuticles and do what I could only describe as digging her nail into the bottom of my foot,it was horrible and painful! I just wanted to get out of there. As I go to pay they tried to overcharge my card and keep the change and she was standing next to the register with her hand ready to grab a tip. I wanted to get a no-chip manicure and a pedicure. I asked if I could be seated away from the other clients who were getting a pedicure. He said no. The place wasn't crowded so I didn't understand why clients have to be seated very close to one another like sardines. So I just opted for the manicure. The utensils were not sterilized I had to ask if they had any, he went in the back to get one and came out with one did he CLAIMED to get from a sterilizer but it was not in a sterilization pouch. He didn't do a good job and the polish's color wasn't what I expected. He kept asking me was it okay ... He knew I didn't like it. If you are going to go here. I previously went here and they were pretty good. After a while I came back and wanted a mani or pedi since my fingernails are pretty bad. And then after that I wanted a full set on my fingernails. Now the lady who didn't know much English wouldn't give me a manicure before my full set. She told me it was more money. And stopped. Now I also wanted and was hoping that my pedicure would be first before my full set, that didn't happen... you know like last time. But that did not happen she gave me my full set first and automatically gave me gel when I did not ask for it. And also I'm a cashier so I like them shorter & active length. They did not want to give that to me. But after almost walking out they pulled out a display nail hand example FINALLY!!. I've had much better. But she made up for not listening pretty much. First time coming here, brought my mom long. Went on a Sunday and didn't wait. We both had pedi and no chip mani. The young man that serviced me was very nice, he could've scrubbed my heel better but I was pleased with service. However, the young lady who serviced my mom, made her bleed from her feet and my mom said she was upset while doing her mani because my moms cuticles were long (or something like that). I didn't hear this but I don't think it's appropriate to criticize a customer when you're paying for a damn service. My mom felt bad and she just sat there quietly, but if I would've heard her say that I would've checked her instantly. My mom knows that I'm very outspoken, so she didn't tell me this until after we left the shop. Henry, the owner is nice, however his wife is extremely rude, has NO etiquette, nasty ass attitude, and should NOT be within 10 feet of paying customers. I was here on Tues, spent $60 on pedicure, and gel fill in plus no chip polish, only to have to return on Thurs (2 days later) because my no chip Chipped on my thumb. Well I was in the shop for more than an hour and it took 2 different techs to fix 1 nail. Long story short Henry's wife re-polished all of my nails over and had a very nasty attitude the entire time, and spoke to the tech next to her in their language. I guess she was upset because she had to re-do my nails for free, but that's part of being in business and giving great customer service... Which this shop lacks. Once she finished, I asked her when Henry would be back, she said I don't know, well Henry walked in about 5 mins later and we went outside where I let him know my complaints, sad to say, his response was yeah, she's evil to me too..... I feel sorry for him, having to deal with this @ home and @ work. However this last time I was completely outdone with the nail tech's behavior and technique. I came in the salon to get a full set pedicure and also my 3 yr old at the time a polish. So they started with my full set. Not to mention I was going out of town so I wanted something different from what I usually get. I proceeded to show the nail tech the picture of a nail design that I liked, he started to talk in his native Language and then his co worker next to him chimes in and says they don't do what's on the picture, so I continue to show three other pictures of different nail designs, they don't do any of them. So with no other variety of design I was left with the option of picking a regular color with no design or creativity. Now after my nails were done he asked me did I still want the pedicure I said yes. So I thought he forgot that I had wanted my daughters nails painted so I politely reminded him. His reply was yea ok ok in a really snippy and rude manner. I overlooked this because I was doing this for her birthday. So he proceeded to run my water in a bowl next to a woman, I asked him if I can sit one down away from her the reason for this was because I was jus getting over pneumonia and didn't want to sit next to someone else at that time. So Instead of him accommodating a paying customer he acts as if he doesn't understand me. So I asked the younger guy that works there if I could skip one and sit there he says yes! The man still continues to beck me to the bowl he wants me to use and acts like he doesn't understand English. At this point I'm fed up with the lack of talent and respect this establishment exudes.
