I've been going to Diva Nails & Spa for a while. I think they are pretty good with standard prices. My fav nail tech is May because she pays attention to details and is very thorough. Typically, you can get same day appointments or you can walk-in. The customer service is just ok. I prefer when places eagerly greet you when you arrive and thank you for coming when you leave. They also used to offer a discount card pre-Covid that after a number of stamps on your card you'd get a great discount. Unfortunately, they discontinued that offer. It's not a luxury spa, just a basic spot that gets what you need done pretty quickly. read more

I went on Friday, Feb 6th and asked for a no chip manicure. I explained to Tina (owner) that I just wanted the basic. She asked if I wanted the more expensive manicure upgrade, which I declined. I paid my bill, tipped her with cash and went home. Three days later I was checking my account and I was shocked to find that she had added $13 ( cost of the upgrade) to my bill. The worst no chip manicure that I have ever received. I will be taking my business elswhere. While Tina initial denied over charging me, she subsequently returned the money to my account after a three- way conversation with my bank representative. Shame on you Tina! read more

Absolutely the worst nail salon as far as sanitation goes! They sat me at the first station for a manicure . The station had other people dna Nail clippings and shavings all over the top. I asked if she could clean it off . She used a nail file to scrap it off and proceeded to use that very same nail file on me. I asked if she could put a towel down and she just sprayed something on top of the arm rest! The dipping powders she used also looked like it had someone else's dna in and they used the same tools without sanitizing. The overall shop was dirty and disgusting! They should be ashamed for charging as much as they do for such an awful experience! I wouldn't recommend this place until they can clean up their act! Health and sanitation is a huge issue I'm surprised they haven't been shut down . read more

I've never written a bad review before, but my experience here was so bad I couldn't help but do it. The girl who did my no chip manicure cut a chunk of my cuticle/skin above it off and was confused when I winced and pulled away, then I saw blood gushing everywhere. My finger was still bleeding by the time I left. She would GIGGLE about having to wipe the blood away every time she had to work on that hand??? She also giggled in the midst of all this after asking me if I liked how the nails were coming along. It felt straight up hateful. I'm one of those people who acts like everything is fine until I leave, but it was very hard in this instance. I wanted to walk out of there before she could mess anything else up, but my anniversary was the following day so I decided to suck it up. Not like it mattered, considering my pointer finger chipped the following day and my no chip polish on the opposite hand can be lifted off. (This was 4 days ago). It literally felt like I was being pranked, worst manicure I've gotten in my life, it wasn't even executed well on top of everything. Now that my finger is healing, I have this weird indent where my cuticle/chunk of skin was cut out, making my nail bed seem longer. That's how much was somehow ripped off. Ridiculous. read more

I have extremely mixed feelings about my visit here-all in all, I wouldn't go back. The First Lady that was working on my pedicure was very thorough, although she did take the time call someone, in the middle of my pedicure, with her Gloves still on. I got a new girl without explanation, and she did my no chip full set as well. I wanted a matte black; asked for a gel full set; well, they insisted they had no black in gel, only in no chip. So I had to pay extra for that, which I wouldn't have cared about if my nails didn't turn out like shit. The lady that did my nails did not take her time; she rushed and told another customer she was almost done with my nails when she had just started-let me tell you it shows on the nails. Now I know they aren't absolutely horrible, but I spent damn near $100, the money I made this morning, for my nails and a pedicure-I'd expect them to at least be matte when I wanted matte. Some pros: water was offered, relaxing atmosphere, fast! Which isn't always good. I attached a photo of what I asked for and what I received,they're see through, not the worst I have had but definitely one of the thickest, and least smooth. It also looks as if I got them days ago, not minutes. I should've left after the pedicure when doing my nails seemed like it was a burden to the lady that had to do them. read more

Rushed. Rude. Sloppy. Then they overcharged me, after being a repeat customer. They treat repeat customers like trash, so I won't be going back. Cut my daughter 3 times. Use actual dipping technique instead of the brush (let's catch up, folks). Lame pedicure with minimal massage. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy! When a customer brings makes an appointment for 3 people and you treat them with zero care? Pfft. No thanks. They have just gone down. Aside from the cuts on my one daughter, all of the paint jobs were jank and sloppy. My older daughter's pedicure was criminal. They never even removed all of the previous polish. Just ... BAD. Visiting and found this place on yelp. I called the morning of and got in 30 minutes later. They are super efficient and have great attention to detail. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they delivered :) Got a full set with gel polish for my mani. I've gotten acrylic nails before but never had them so natural looking nor well shaped as here. No odd edges on the nails. Got a normal pedi with polish. Enjoyed that too with the salt rub and foot massages. Both tech paid attention to detail quite well. Loved it. read more

They don't have set prices and change what they say. My nails cost $80. I got short almond french tip nails. My friend was told $65 + another $15 for the length which was long. We went back and asked. They told me an extra $10 for french tip and another extra $10 for the shape of my nails. Then they told us length doesn't matter. $80 is not worth it. She kept getting distracted while doing my nails and going on her phone. It was sloppy work. If I paid extra for the french tip (I didn't know this) then why are the sides not nice and sleek. I've gotten better work done at Angel's Nails and Waxing in Oak Forest. It is way better. I only went here because a friend recommended to come here, I will never come back. The salon I go to (Angel's Nails and Waxing) is definitely my favorite spot around here. They take time to do nails and actually pay attention to detail. They also actually still give you a manicure too. It's also so affordable. read more

Update: 1 week & 1 day after getting these my pinky nail fell off and another salon says it's due to being applied poorly. Which I have friends that do nails and they agree with the fact that it was done poorly. They also think it was applied too thick. Compared to other salons I was overcharged by a lot as well. So not happy with that. Will be going someplace else today to get things redone. Place seems to be really clean and that's a big thing for me! I saw a lot of people come in for pedicures while I was there and they cleaned the seats and all that in between each person really Well. I came to this salon on a whim. Literally just in the area. Not only were my natural nails damaged on purpose but I was rushed through the entire process. I love fast efficient service but to literally be upset that I didn't want to cut my natural medium length nails and damage them so that I would have to cut them is disgusting. Had I not already been finished w the pedicure I would have left. They are also quite prejudice. The only time the nail tech started to act like she had decent customer service is when I told her I was a new customer and I lived in Orland Park....will never return here. Best nail salon ever. I got a no chip manicure with Mandy for my upcoming birthday and she went above and beyond to make sure my nails came out how I wanted! I was one of the most annoying clients who takes forever to pick colors and asks for a specific design in a badly explained way. She told me in advance that the colors I chose wouldn't show the half-moon reverse French ombre thing I was getting but I still chose to err on the sheer side rather than the bold side. She even tested out colors on her own nails to make extra sure it would turn out the way I liked. And all that work for ultimately a very natural nail! But up close you can see the subtle ombre work she did and thats exactly what I hoped for. Next time I'll try taking her advice and go more opaque. We decided to give this place a second chance due to it being close to my daughter house. First time customer service was ok but my granddaughters gel fell off 2 days after she had them done. This time around customer service was the worse we have ever had, again beside the one lady but the other 3 were so rude !!!!!! I honest had to bite my tongue is saying anything because we my granddaughters were with us. First of all one of my daughters is left half way thru here service so the lady can work on someone else without the tech saying anything to my daughter. Posting my girlfriend's recent experience: Drove from a neighboring suburb just to try this place out and I was not disappointed. It is a small salon in a strip mall so I was a bit skeptical at first. Upon my arrival, I requested a a mani/pedi and someone waited on me right away. My manicure turned out fantastic. She asked me often is this okay, is that okay and made sure I liked the service I was getting. After my nails were done, we moved on to a pedicure. They were extremely thorough and are great at giving suggestions. I was able to watch the employees and they are very adamant about cleaning and using sterilized equipment. Other salons I have been to seem to lack in that area. The whole package was very affordable as well. This may be my new go-to place! read more

I love this place! It's my go to nail salon in Chicago! They do amazing designs, and have no shortage of crystals and foil to choose from! TI and Raymond are the brothers and managers of the place. I highly recommend them and all of their other employees are amazing as well. I get the all powder designs, but they can do everything! And they do a lot of no chips and dip and pedicures. I've been here several times and each time was good until this past time. I went in and asked for different colored French tip nails and they didn't even look like the picture. The tips were very thick and not the right colors to match the picture I showed the tech (the owner). $65 for a no chip, French tip, multi color, almond shape I wasn't even happy with. I didn't have time to ask for a polish change because I had work so I called the next day since I did not like my nails at all. I came in for my polish change they didn't charge me which was nice. I noticed the color I chose was kind of empty in the bottle and she added oil to it, which I think made the polish less pigmented when she applied it to nails. About a week and 1/2 my nails started lifting, chipping, and falling off! I'm not sure if it's my lifestyle (I'm a server) so I wash my hands a lot, am carrying alot of stuff, opening things, etc. idk but this is absolutely ridiculous to spend this money to have missing nails not even 2 weeks later! This hasn't happened this quick at other nail salons I make it to 3 weeks before a fill AT least. I also noticed she was rushing through the whole process and seemed annoyed that she had to even do my nails in the first place. I get it, I wanted a polish change 2 days later but they didn't look good. Anyways I'm going to spend my money elsewhere. It isn't that clean in there either. I really liked this place at first and I thought that I found my new nail salon after moving to Orland Park. They took their time on my nails and they actually looked pretty nice.
