Completely unacceptable experience. I arrived more than 20 minutes early for the Louvre tour and there was no guide, no representative, and no clear presence at the meeting point. I repeatedly called support during the scheduled time with no response, and only received a message after the tour had already started. Despite the service failure being entirely on their side, they refused both a refund and any rescheduling. Extremely poor organisation and zero customer support when it actually matters. read more

Tickets had not arrived with just 1hour before louvre tour. I had to call to have them emailed. They said the tour started at the Lions Gate entrance. The Lions gate entrance was closed. I contacted them and they said to "Find another entrance ". Bottom line, why pay double to this ripoff company when you can pay half directly from the Lourve website and get in line for your scheduled entry. Paris City Vision added no value at all. They also require you to load they messaging App as they will not accept your direct calls. read more

Rarely do I leave reviews, especially those that are negative, but I am so disappointed!! We booked a tour of Versailles with Paris City Vision via Viatour. We will not do so again. The whole operation was disorganized from the start. We were to meet in front of the Pullman Hotel near the Eiffel Tower at 1:30 pm for a 2:00 pm start. There were workers standing around with the company's aprons. They said nothing to us until they told us we could load the bus. They gave us stickers with a number and "leave at 5:50 pm." The bus didn't leave until 2:13 pm. We just sat on the bus with the driver who offered no explanation (decreasing the amount of time we paid for at the palace. There was no narration on the bus, not even as we approached the palace, even though the bus was equipped with a microphone and the tour guide was on-board. After arriving late, the guide hurried us through the palace and said he could only spend 2 minutes per room. I would share his name but he didn't introduce himself. I have previously toured Versailles (and studied the palace extensively as a teacher of college-level world history). He neglected to share information that was not labeled in the room. He identified the Roman gods on the ceiling and a few pieces of artwork on the wall. The tour was over in less than 30 minutes. I was so disappointed for my daughter who accompanied me for the first time. Our tickets were $100 apiece. We could have ubered for 53 euros, and admission was 22 Euros. The bus was also dirty. Save your money and skip the tour. You can listen to a narration for free on the palaces's website. read more

I have used Viator in Greece and the Caribbean and have had ZERO ISSUES! The best experiences I have ever had! I had scheduled the Eiffel Tower which was overpriced since I went on my own and spent a FRACTION of the price. We were delayed due to an organized city marathon, never notified of any delays, arrived at the destination 15 minutes late and waited 2 hours to jump onto another tour and was never accommodated! Had to leave because they had no public bathroom and I had my 85 year old mother with me. Worst experience! Started a chat with Viator customer service and my issue is not resolved! Just go directly to the Eiffel Towel, yourself. Cheaper and a small wait but nothing too horrible! read more

I had a trip with them and when I got to the location no one was there. I tried calling and no response. Then I was able to get a hold of them through watssap, they said they tried calling me, never received a call. They said they called the numbwr they had. When I asked for the information of mine they had, a copy of the email the information on the receipt was not mine. Neither the phone number or email. They said they were sorry I missed the trip but it was my fault. If I would like they could reschedule for the next day at only 50% . I believe these people are experts at ripping people off. There was no signage on the building indicating the company's name. There was no posted information on where to meet or what or who to look for. The bus was parked several blocks from the departure spot. Our female tour guide on the 2:30 pm tour of Giverny on September 25 was extremely rude. My group had decided to take the self-guided tour of the gardens. When the guide was explaining how to meet the bus at the end she was referring to a map which we could not see due to so many people had umbrellas and we could not hear her. When we asked her to repeat the information she wasn't wanting to do so because we hadn't paid for the guided tour. The bus departed 45 minutes late because they forgot something and had to make a stop before we left. When she was mentioning our departure time she stated that they would be leaving promptly and if we were one minute late that they would wave to us as they drove past us. I would not use this company again. I would encourage booking through Get Your Guide through whom we have booked and taken 3 tours in Paris this trip and everything has been absolutely wonderful. read more

We bought a tour to the Louvre museum on 7/20/22. We were very excited and looking forward it but we were very disappointed! Our guide Fuméi was a disaster. Her English was very limited and hard to understand. The tour was super boring. For long periods, she did not speak a word. You could only hear statistic. She did not share any exciting !! After 45 min, we gave up! We returned our equipment and decided to be in our own. Could we get our money back? As I look around and saw other peoples faces, I could tell they were thinking the same How boring!!!! People looked as mad as me. While waiting for our tour to start, I could hear other guides from other companies sharing all these interesting and amazing facts about Louvre. I wished I could had been able to change to any of those! What a scam! Stay away from Fumei if you already had bought your tickets from them. Very easy to work with! I had one tour booked independently and one through our travel agent through Paris City Vision. There instructions are clear and it's on a great location. I even had a change of plans and had to change days and it was no problem. They're very reliable and easy to book great tours through. There's not a lot of seating inside. If you're cold and need to wait inside I recommend going across the street to the little cafe and just ordering a drink. The tours meet right out front either on foot or bus. The bus was very nice and convenient. The waking tour we had an excellent guide for the Louvre skip the line tour. read more

When I went in with the voucher to retrieve the tickets, they said they didn't have Catacomb tickets at the moment. WHAT?! I RESERVED them a month ago. They offered me a 1.5 hour bus ride as compensation. Yeah, that compares. But hey, I can call customer service for a refund. Great. I get to deal with them. At worst, this company makes its money scamming tourists (see previous reviews). At best, it's just poor business practice. I'm from out of town and only here for a couple of days. My husband and I are in Paris for The first time. Everyone said, "You MUST see Versailles!!" We booked a 5 hour tour with Paris City Vision. Right away something was off. There was no organization. We checked in 30 minutes early. The young man gave us a group number. We were in group number 11. That was it! No introduction to the tour. No "here's what you can expect". But most importantly no one told us when or where to meet back at the bus once we got to Versailles. When we met our tour guide she told us we were half an hour late. She wasn't sure they would be able to fit in another tour. She was not on the bus or with the group leading up to the tour. Many of the people on the tour asked her what time we were to meet the bus after to tour. Most tours at Versailles take you through the palace and then you're free to tour the spacious gardens on your own. Every time she was asked "what time do we meet the bus after the tour" she would say, "I don't know. I think at 4:00. I must have heard her say this 4 or 5 times. After the tour Of the palace she left and The rest of the group went out to see the gardens. My husband and I got back to where the tour group was told to meet at 3:30. We didn't want to be the cause of the bus not departing on time. Here's the problem-the bus never came to pick us up!!! 30 people were stranded in a foreign country!! Thank heaven my husband is a native New Yorker and understands public transportation!! 20 people from this group followed him to the nearest Metro station and he got us all back to Paris on the Metro! This company needs to have ALL information for and about their tours available to every customer on the day of and at the time of their tours!!! When one members of our group finally got ahold of somebody with Paris City Vision they were told they would have another bus out there for us at 5:50!! By the time the bus would have gotten out to Versailles we were back in Paris for more than an hour!! read more

All the negative reviews are accurate. While in Paris in May of this year, I booked a Paris City Vision tour to Fontainebleau and Veux-le-Vicompte. At the meeting place, the person confirming my reservation pointed in the direction of a motorcoach. However, it was not until 15 minutes on the coach that I realized that the coach was going to a different site, not the one I had booked! The coach driver contacted Paris City Vision for me, and the woman who answered told me that Paris City Vision would refund my trip cost, as well as the taxi cost to go back to Paris. However, I never received a reimbursement for the taxi ($100), even though I emailed and called Paris City Vision several times. This is a fraudulent company, willing to take your money and not honoring their own representative's statement to me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more

My friends and I chose Paris City Vision for our half-day, morning tour of Versailles. We booked everything online and had an easy time redeeming the voucher at PCV's office on the Rue des Pyramides the morning of. The buses are blessedly air conditioned which, if you visit on a blazing summer day as we did, you will be very thankful for. You will also be thankful to have paid for the skip-the-line ticket because the queue when you arrive is incredibly long and, again, in the summer you're just waiting in the open air. Versailles is such an incredibly beautiful palace with spectacular gardens (200 acres!). PCV's tour guide knew so much, but also kept things light with jokes sprinkled in here and there. Pacing was also pretty good - enough time in each room to snap photos, look around, etc. In retrospect, I would probably have chosen to do a full day. When the tour of the palace ended, we had about an hour before we had to be back on the tour bus. If you really want to take your time in the gardens, that hour won't come close to cutting it. You can stay at the very top level, but won't have time for anything else. If you'd like to check-out the extensive gardens, consider a full day option AND renting one of the ATV-esque rides, too. read more

BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK. I have never written a bad review in my life, but this place warrants it. This was an extremely scary experience that put a huge damper on my trip to Paris. I booked a full day at Monet's Gardens, but they put me on a bus with people who had only booked a half-day. I was told halfway through the bus ride that I would need to find the second "afternoon" bus to get back to Paris. The tour guide gave me zero information on what the bus looked like, who the second guide would be, and didn't provide me with a name or phone number. She simply said "Just get here before 5:45pm and look around, you'll find it. The bus leaves at 5:45pm." I waited in that parking lot from 5pm to 6pm - a full hour - and asked every single bus driver in the lot. Nobody was with Paris City Vision. I was completely alone 2 hours outside of Paris, and I kept calling their customer service line but nobody picked up. I texted their WhatsApp, but nobody answered. I tried to get in touch with the tour guide, but she didn't pick up either. Eventually I had to call an Uber, which cost me $140. I've spoken to other people who've had similar experiences with Paris City Vision. Their customer service is virtually nonexistent, and you have to repeatedly call and email them over and over to even get a response. They finally looked into the situation and found that their tour guide had indeed given me the wrong time, but STILL refused to pay me back for my Uber. They essentially messed up on their end, I had to pay for it, and then they didn't absolutely nothing about it. Again, have never written a bad review in my life. But there's a certain way to treat people, and this is not it. I've never felt so snubbed and disrespected by a company before. My complaint was poor instructions to meeting place at the Louvre Museum ..The contact numbers were unreachable ..I even ask the locals and they were guessing and pointing me to all different directions. Missed my tour on my daughters 21st birthday. They would not refund because they said others found the meeting place!! I was there 2hrs early on a wild goose chase. Finally found them went on a non english speaking tour then decided solo tour on my own . It was the all day tour from Paris to Giverny with lunch nearby after the visit to Monet's home and gardens and then it was on to Versailles. The office opens early--6 AM--so you can check in and then go have breakfast somewhere. The bus had wifi and the driver did and outstanding job with Paris traffic. I probably would have rated PARISCityVISION 5 Stars, but you don't provide a restroom for your clients who are then subjected to paying for crappy food or drinks at Le Carrousel because it is close. I booked two tours through Viator which in turn books at PARISCityVISION for an excursion to Giverny and Versailles for one day. Then on another day we booked an excursion to Rheims and Epernay in the Champagne region. Both of these one day tours were excellent and the tour guides and coaches are excellent. The first time I included a pick up by a driver which I paid for in advance. The driver tried to charge me again, but thankfully the staff corrected that. We ended up going to Le Carrousel, a crappy cafe, across the street and had to buy crappy food and drinks twice in order to use their restroom. If you are reading this just do yourself a big favor and walk a block to McDonald's and save yourself having to deal with rude waiters who touch your food with their dirty bare hands. read more

We signed up and paid in full for the Versailles Guided Tour with Paris City Visions on July 30, 2023, and were never given any tour, instead my wife and I were abandoned by the tour group leader. We gave up 5 hours of our last day in Paris. We were forgotten by our tour leader as we walked into the staging area at Versailles to get in line. The tour guide woman, leading our group, told my wife that she would come back and give us our tickets so we could get in. We never saw her again until the bus to pick us up, arrived 3.5 hours later. We had no tickets, no entry, no help, no tour, no communications just unfortunately spending our last day in Paris with(out) Paris City Visions. We filed a complaint with Paris City Visions, and we cannot believe their response back to us that stated their "records indicate that the tour was conducted according to the scheduled itinerary, and the tour guide followed the planned program". My wife and I just completed the 3 Day Guided Trip to Normandy, Mont Saint-Michel, Loire Valley Chateaux from Paris by Paris City Vision. From their web page: One day in Normandy to see the famous D-Day beaches Actual events at Normandy Beach was: 30 minutes on Utah Beach, 30 minutes on Gold Beach, 45 minutes at the US WWII cemetery. I don't consider less than two hours to be one day. Website was very misleading. The hotel in Caen, France (4 Star) Novotel Hotel for our first night. The twin room with two beds, was actually one bed and a PULL OUT SOFA (mattress was about 3 inches thick and had wooden planks under it) I told our guide that it was not acceptable and it sure wasn't a 4 star hotel. She did NOTHING, said they were total booked for the night. The next two days and one night went OK, but were dedicated to seeing way too many castles and churches. And we were rushed the entire trip. What was supposed to be an hour to and hour and a half for lunches and free time normally turned out to be 45 to 55 minutes. Don't book this tour for the Normandy beaches, you will be disappointed. read more

This tour agency is perfect. There was some closures to the Metro and trains due to union demonstrations so getting to Disneyland Paris would not have been easy. However, I found that Paris City Vision offers a roundtrip shuttle service to Disneyland Paris and was so happy. The service was professionally done with friendly staff. It made my experience going to and from Disneyland Paris really enjoyable by not having to worry about transportation. read more

I would not use Paris City Vision. Company very unethical. I booked the trip in the wrong month due to my impaired vision. I requested a credit and rebooking for the actual date I will be in France. They refused to provide the credit because I didn't notice the error until the day before but less than 24 hours prior. Go here first! They speak multiple languages and you will be able to plan your week out in advance! We discovered this place after talking to another tourist at The Louvre. We did the tour to Versailles. The palace was packed and while we did get to skip the line and enter with our tour group, it was way too crowded inside! You were literally smashed up in front of, behind, and side by side to people as you are squished through tiny doorways at a frantic pace! My earbuds were so full of static I could barely hear what our guide was saying! We would frequently lose her in the crowd of people until she held her map up and waved it in the air. While she had a hot pink coat on outside, when we were inside she took it off and you couldn't see her over the crowds of people. Our group got mixed in with other people and it was complete chaos! I can't say that all of the tours will be like this, but this was by far the least enjoyable experience I had in Paris! On top of all of this, we had a guy coughing his guts out behind us on the two decker bus! It was gloomy outside and it was raining on and off and the palace is dimly lit and relies on outside light to see things inside. We could barely see some things inside the palace. I guess I'm glad I got to here, but I am disappointed that they don't regulate the crowds and make it a more enjoyable experience for everyone. On my recent trip to Paris, I took 3 tours with Paris City Vision: 1) Louvre guided tour - this was good. It was tiring, but we had a good guide who was passionate about the subject. He took us to all the "popular" pieces. 2) Versailles guided tour - this was good too. We went in the double decker bus, which was clean, left on time and we had a good guide. There was enough time given to explore the gardens. 3) Paris Day tour with Eiffel Tower tickets - I was disappointed by Paris Day tour. Our guide spoke very little during the city tour. We took a tour of the Loire Valley. The castles and area of France were beautiful! Our guide was knowledgeable, but not the friendliest. It would have been nice to have some more time in each area. We were allowed to walk around in the area near the Chombard castle and get lunch- there were some good options for food and a cute market. There wasn't quite enough time to see everything that we wanted in the castle and on the grounds. We also had to wait around 20 minutes for some people that were running late, which was unfortunate. The wine tasting in Chombard was quick (maybe 15 minutes), but that was really for the best so there was time to walk around. They also had crackers with fun toppings like boar at the wine tasting. Definitely make sure to bring snacks and water with you! The bus ride each way was 2-3.5 hours, so you'll definitely want food. We left Paris around 7:15am and came back around 7pm. They give you an audio thing so you can hear the guide while she is walking around. It was helpful to hear her information, but the audio guides themselves were kind of cheap and the audio kept cutting in and out. I booked online the day before. I never received a confirmation email, and called about 10 times throughout the day to see if I could please have a confirmation email. Unfortunate the phone was never answered, so I had to go to the City Vision office in Paris to confirm, and they assured me everything was confirmed in their system. It seems as though the phones are not well manned. The morning of the trip (arrived at 6:45am), there didn't seem to be a record of my confirmation. Luckily we figured it out, but it was very stressful as I didn't have any email confirmation. I did have a confirmation number, but they didn't have it in their system. I would recommend this tour overall! Just be sure to have snacks with you, and don't plan on spending too long at any of the locations. The grounds and castles are beautiful, and it is definitely worth a visit. read more
