My husband and I had a magical night tour with Romain and he was absolutely amazing. We had best time touring all the spectacular landmarks and taking the best pictures. Cedric's night tour made my 1st trip to Paris magical and unforgettable! He took me to all the sights I'd seen during the daylight & created this fantasyland in lights then drove me back to Vincennes along the Seine. He treated me just like a Princess. Next trip to Paris was with two friends & I knew all of us would not fit in his Citroen. In August 2017, me and my husband eloped in Paris. We stumbled upon Cedric's service and knew that we wanted him to drive us around. He even gave us a discount since my husband is a volunteer firefighter! Ahead of time through email correspondence, Cedric even gave us several suggestions for sights to hold the ceremony. He showed up on time and gave an AMAZING tour on the way to the sight of the elopement. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the city. We originally booked him for Friday, but since it was supposed to rain, the photographer wanted to switch the ceremony to Saturday. Cedric was very accommodating and, without a thought, agreed to do the tour the following day. The icing on the cake is that Cedric agreed to act as our wedding officiant and read from a script we provided - He was marvelous, of course! Paris in a whole new light. Cedric's was FANTASTIC. The website was very good. Communication was excellent and our driver Romain was exceptional. We'd been in Paris 2 days before we took the Night Tour to see the lights and discover Paris in a different light so to speak. Romain asked us what we wanted to do and see and crafted a tour to show us spots we'd seen in Paris as well as to show us places we hadn't, so we could explore them later in our trip or on another trip in the future. Hands down our favorite part of our Paris trip was our tour with Chris in the green 2CV. He took us to every beautiful must see spots in Paris, and Paris was even more beautiful at night. My fiancé and I had gotten engaged earlier that night, and it was the perfect end to our night to go on this tour. Chris took pictures of us wherever we wanted, and the 2CV could fit anywhere, making it easy to stop. Absolutely incredible way to see Paris. On this tour we got introduced to so many pars of the city we'd have never found on our own. Christopher led our tour and he was great in every way. His knowledge of Paris and all of its super cool ins and outs was fascinating and he did a great job setting up the rest of our trip by pointing out great places we should come back to and great little cafes and restaurants that we should visit during our stay. Most importantly all of his recommendations were absolutely on point. This was booked as a birthday surprise to start our trip and it again was an absolutely perfect way to get introduced to the city. First time reviewer, bear with me. Back in November I was traveling with my family for the first time to Paris. We wanted to get a good tour of the city and really didn't want a lousy experience. I saw a lot of bad reviews with a lot of the bigger tour companies and didn't want that. I checked on trip advisor and saw great reviews for Cedric's. I come from a firefighter family and noticed that he was also a former firefighter and a portion of the profits goes to firefighter charities. We scheduled the night tour. Cedric was quick to get back to me whenever I had some random questions To ask. My family was picked up promptly at the stated time, not a minute later. We had Christopher as our tour guide and he is an awesome, knowledgeable guy. He asked what in particular we wanted to see which I liked and he found a way to maximize the use of our time with our tour. Also, Christopher's English was excellent. He didn't come out and say it but you could tell that Christopher had done his homework, he knew what spots had just put up Christmas lights which places were best for photos and in my opinion went out of his way to show us a good time. Last thing, my fellow Americans, the night tour starts late, about 9pm...late for most people, but in Paris they are barely even going out to dinner at this time and traffic is way lighter so you are spending your time seeing the sights not stuck in traffic. I've never Yelped before and I'm usually full of complaints about everything so when I say It's a good tour company and if you give them a shot you won't be disappointed I mean it. read more

Excellent tours, excellent customer service, excellent guide!! Took the "Secret City Tour" FEB 2018 and Romain was our guide. There's no way we would've been able to see and learn about so many interesting places and pieces of history during our 1 week visit. From the oldest pub in the city (dating back to the 15th century) to the piece of one of the original fortress walls for the city (which is still standing) dating back to Phillip Auguste 12th Century, to the amazing photo ops you'll get, this tour company was simply the best choice we could've made! Their rates are very reasonable, it's very easy to book and pay, and riding around in the antique 2CV car was awesome! One of the best things about this tour company is they're all firefighters and a portion of their proceeds go to support the children/families of fallen firefighters. Don't miss out on this tour!!! Our tour with Cedric was one of the best parts of our trip to Paris. He was very flexible on scheduling our tour time and even made recommendations on times when traffic would allow more site seeing. Our original plan was to do all of the major sites but since we had already visited most he recommended a tour of the secret side of Paris and tailored it to fit us perfectly! The history and details he gave were just amazing! After the tour he even emailed me walking guides of all the places we were going that were incredibly detailed and a ton of helpful restaurant recommendations! Amazing! So much fun! During our September 2019 month in Paris, we took two tours with Cedric's Paris Private Tours. The first was a 3 hour city tour with Amin. It was a perfect way to see the city--sitting in a vintage Citroen sipping champagne. Amin was very knowledgeable and obviously loves his city. He was so accommodating and adjusted the tour as we went based on our interests and questions (including adding a stop at the "I Love You Wall" which gave us a chance to walk over and see it.) We did the tour early in our stay allowing us to see all the sights we were interested in. This allowed us to make better decisions about where to spend our time during the month. It was a wonderful 3 hours! The second was a two hour night time tour with Jean-Jacques, visiting many of the same sights but this time seeing them in their gorgeous lighting. It was a spectacular tour, especially parking on the banks of the Seine across from the Eiffel Tower, drinking champagne and watching the beautiful explosion of light that happens on the hour. We had the area nearly to ourselves and got wonderful pictures. Jean-Jacques was also very accommodating and knowledgeable. He knew all the best places to see at night. It really couldn't have been better. We would definitely recommend Cedric's Tours. They are a fun way to see Paris. read more

We loved our 3.5 hour tour with Cedric! We booked this on a crisp Saturday morning at 9am which was the perfect time for a private tour. For the first half of our tour it felt like we had the streets to ourselves. Cedric is a gem. It was chilly that morning but we wanted to have the top rolled back on "Laura" (his vintage car) so he provided blankets so we were cozy. This was our first time in Paris, so Cedric catered his tour to help orient us and we were able to see all the main sights easily. After this, we all felt more comfortable navigating the city because we had such a thorough understanding of the layout. He mixed a good amount of history with some modern trivia. We had an exceptional experience last night with your 1981 red Deux Cheveaux named Louise, and her driver Amin. We thought we only needed an hour and were recovering from a cold, but Amin's personable and knowledgable commentary with facts and interesting events of both ancient and contemporary history energized us. The weather was perfect to have the top down so we could pop up for photos, and the streets were lively with walkers and cafes were full. Amin picked us up exactly at 21:30 at Les Deux Magots [great meal and service at normal price in spite of the hype]. We were surprised how comfortable Louise is, remembering the 2CV's of the 60's. She attracted smiles and admiring looks from walkers and other drivers, contributing to the special feeling of your event. They started with the Latin Quarter side streets, Dr. Guillotine's neighborhood, and famous restaurants and big buildings on the Left Bank. The Pantheon and St. Genevieve's gloriously lit. Ile St. Louis and Ile de la Cité with both quiet residences and pedestrians on the café streets. Notre Dame from both sides across the bridges, then right in front, fully lit for our photo. Eiffel Tour with the 5 minutes of sparkle lighting. Much more. Right Bank, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe close up, Louvre, Petit Palais, Grand Palais, Montmarte, Place Pigalle, Moulin Rouge, Sacré Coeur with all Paris before us. Grands Boulevards, Place de la Concorde and the special place you recently found to view the Eiffel Tour from the Right Bank for a great night photo. Then the Hotel de Ville and home. There was much more I didn't list, had to take notes as we went. We spent almost 3 hours and needed all of it. We're sure Amin could have kept going longer. He knows how to position Louise so we can actually get out to set up striking photos even in the heavy traffic at Etoile, Place Concorde, right in front of Notre Dame. He made great compositions of us for our albums. So thank you for such a high quality personal experience to show us Paris in a way like Bateaux Mouches, but privately, and through the streets. We have visited many times but learned new things from Amin, and night visits are special. This is a great experience for first time visitors with limited time. We want to do it again sometime! read more
