Disclaimer: My experience was a quick drop-in for a pastry and a cappuccino, nothing to cook or deliver, so please read with that in mind I'd first visited a Paris Baguette location in San Antonio, and was pleased to see them come to my neighborhood. To be clear, this is a chain restaurant, and there's some predictability based on that. You won't find a La Marzocco espresso machine here, for example. I selected a pastry from the self serve case (a nice pain de chocolat), They serve Lavazza coffee products, which aren't my favorite, but by the time milk and sweetener is added, they can be nice, familiar, and a pleasing drink. I ordered a cappuccino at the counter, and the servers prepared it on their Franke super automatic machine, which produced a decent brew, neither too bitter nor too strong. The pastry was delicate with a nice chocolate filling, a little on the dark side, but pleasant. They made a good combination for a mid morning snack. Interior of the shop was clean and well lit, and the service was efficient and friendly. Again, for the experience I was after, this location delivered what I wanted. read more

Terribly slow service!! We were there around 10:30 on a weekday. Maybe 3 customers. It took them 25+ minutes to prepare a chai latte. I got tired of standing around waiting on it so I sat down at a table with my friend to chat. Then, instead of letting me know it was finally ready, or bringing it to me, it sat on the counter another 5-10 minutes getting cold. My friend ordered a fruit smoothie and it was undrinkable. Way too sweet. She sent it back. They didn't seem to care. They also seemed clueless. read more

This is a national chain so plan accordingly. We'd hoped for something resembling a Paris bistro. The food seems shipped from a central location. Who knows how long the sandwiches have been in their plastic wrap, not to mention there were only a hand full of choices before our visit just before noon. I can't speak to the level or quality of service besides being told "Sandwiches are over there" with a helpful point (notice eye roll on my part). Plenty of Parisians standing around so at the ready for other tricky questions (another eye roll). Plan accordingly. read more

I love the concept. Service here was super slow even with the store not being crowded. The store was clean and the items well stocked. Some items were a bit spendy when compared to 85 degrees which is similar in concept, but with Asian vs Parisian flair. The food we had was good and the latte tasty. I'm sure I'll Give it another try when I'm in the area. read more

I've been waiting for something like this bakery to pop up in my area. They have all the delectable delicacies that a bakery would have, with some pleasant additions like specialty donuts and other unique items. Most notably, which I rarely see on shelves in bakeries around here, are egg breakfast sandwiches which I love, can't wait to frequent this establishment. read more

I picked up my order, and the manager almost ran into me as I was walking out. I said I was sorry and he said, 'that's okay' and kept going. Then, my order wasn't correct. I didn't get the slice of cake I ordered, so I called to ask for a credit. This same manager said he would have to speak to the team first. He is way out of his league and based on other reviews, treats his employees the same way. It's been 2 days and I still haven't received the credit. Finally, the food is not good. Pasties should be flaky and buttery, but they weren't either. I would not recommend Paris Baguette based on bad food and horrible customer service. read more

Very disappointed with my experience at Paris Baguette. The atmosphere may look nice, but behind the scenes it's a different story. The manager was openly rude and disrespectful to employees right in front of customers, which made the environment uncomfortable and unprofessional. I also know people who worked there and personally they witnessed expired food being rewrapped and put back out for sale. That is completely unacceptable and honestly concerning for customers. On top of that, the prices are extremely high for what you get. There are plenty of other bakeries and cafes that actually appreciate both their customers and employees. Definitely not worth it, and I won't be returning. read more

We wanted to like this place but unfortunately it wasn't the greatest for the price. We placed an on-line order when we arrived it wasn't ready. On top of that they didn't even know what we were talking about took 4 times for them to figure it out. Then they had employees playing cards at a table by the register. read more

Paris Baguette has the potential to be a really great spot, but there are a few things that need improvement. My biggest concern is the lack of basic sanitation practices from the staff. These lack of practices are going to get someone sick. These should be covered in standard food handler training. I placed an online pickup order, and it was ready on time, but my ham and cheese croissant wasn't warmed like I requested. The employee who helped me was friendly and did apologize, but she tried to grab my croissant with a wet glove since she was cleaning the coffee machine. That didn't sit right with me, since the glove could have had cleaning chemicals on it, which is both unsanitary and potentially unsafe. The bakery itself is really nice and looks great inside, but the overall experience was affected by the young staff being inattentive and overall not having a manager to oversee operations. A few employees were on their phones and didn't seem focused on their work or the customers until someone walked up to the register. Update: I emailed [contactus@parisbaguette.com] over and still haven't received a response. Unfortunately, this lack of communication comes across as unprofessional in all aspects of the company. I will never return! read more

I am not really into pastries but went to get an iced latte . It was not good at all. No flavor . Tasted like iced milk. I drank a little bit then tossed it The staff were nice . read more

The service was great. Very friendly and helpful. Greeted me right at the door and showed me how to make my selections. Clean and modern atmosphere. The choices were overwhelming. So many yummy things to choose from. They have both savory and sweet items. It was a Sunday brunch time so I selected a raisin danish, a King Cream donut and a cinnamon apple thing. Everything was very good. The king donut was vanilla custard and powdered sugar was amazing. Full to overflowing with custard. I also got a coffee and it was very good. Cheaper than the big coffee chain. I will definitely be coming back to check out more of the goodies. Sorry no pictures we are them all. lol. read more

This place is just AMAZING, they literally make the BEST Madeleine bear ... customer service is incredible. I've been helped by Hayley, she is such an amazing person. Great restaurant. Much needed type of desert food needed for this area. Prices are a bit steep though.

I visited the store today and upon checking out I asked to speak to the manager. I showed her a pic of a $3.29 pastry I had purchased on my first visit which had no filling in it. She told me she couldn't do anything about it. She didn't even say she was sorry. Just TERRIBLE customer service! read more

Paris Baguette - Pastry Pic - Bakeries Near Me - McKinney, Texas

I will absolutely never go back in there. Pretty sad because the pastries are good. The coffee is ok- they definitely need to step that up. But the reason I'll never go back is because their customer service is horrible. We walked up to the register with our pastry- wanting to order coffee, and no one helped us despite plenty of staff behind the counter. Then about 30 seconds after we walk up another customer walks up with two trays of pastries and wanted a cake as well. So every employee working all decide to help him and make us stand and wait to order our coffees and pay for our pastry. A minute later one employee asks if we are ready and we say, Yes. Then he walks away continued to help the other customer- the ONE customer every employee is helping. We stand there for a few more minutes awkwardly waiting...we finally put our coffee order in- not a huge deal to have to wait for that but if one person would've broken away from the entire crew helping one person, they could've gotten our order moving too. It was just not necessary to have to wait for that long. On top of that it seems there wasn't a supervisor around and the employees are deciding on their own who they want to help, or not, talking/giggling etc. I won't ever waist my time and go in there again. Plenty of good coffee/pastry places around that treat customers better. read more

Excellent croissants and bread! The coffee was also excellent..love Lavazza coffee. People behind counter were friendly and helpful...asked if ww wanted anything heated. read more

Fresh & yummy! Came in the evening with several options & employees were attentive. 10/10 will return

Food is good. When they have it. 7:05 am, been open just over an hour. No mini-croissants and no baguettes available, staff says not ready yet. Why would you even bother opening if you do not have very basic products often wanted for breakfast available yet. Complete waste of time going to this place if they cannot even have basic items ready and available when they open much less an hour after opening. read more

Was super pumped when I found out this place was coming to the area. Wife and I stop by every other week for a sweat treat. Great pastries, great staff. Always polite - pro tip is to get there early before they run out of goodies glad to have it in the area read more

My family and I come here once it opened because we love their Pastries and coffee. We are glad they're close to us now but gotta say the customer service is horrible. I went to order a Korean ice coffee for the first time. Girls at the front were nice and took my order but kept chatting away. So I stood there for about 5 mins. I walked up and asked is someone making my coffee? One of the girl look up and took the ticket and started making it. Second time I came in I ordered the same thing and was told directly we don't have it. How do you not have it? read more

Love this new place here in McKinney! there are so many options and the staff is very helpful. I will be back!

**TIPS GO DIRECTLY TO BUSINESS OWNERS** This place actually has a really cool set up and some decent coffee so I was very disappointed to find out that all of the tips left - whether it be through credit card transactions or the tip jar on the counter, it goes directly to the business owners. I have been in there multiple times and just like every place I go (that prompts to tip) I always ask "who does this tip go to" and this is the first time I've ever been told by MULTIPLE employees that it goes directly to the business and that they don't see a penny of the tips so to say I'm shocked is an understatement. Those employees work very hard and the tips should be distributed evenly for all of the employees and not given to the business owners. So for that, I give this place of business a very low rating. If they decide to change their ways and give their employees the well deserved tips - then I will come back and give them five stars. read more

Great customer service, the deserts here are Amazing, good, love this place, amazing good

The cashiers are really sweet & kind, but, I didn't like the fact that they don't get the tips you give them. I know a server who worked there and was told that the owner keeps the tips-I thought that's illegal to do that? So, either you do not tip or give it directly to the worker that served/helped you. I swear.... These foreigners that come here & open up businesses still do crap that they doing their country of origin & not assimilate & abide with how we do things here in America. read more
