I've been to a couple of other needlepoint stores in Dallas, and let me tell you, they don't hold a…read morecandle to this one. Every single canvas here could have gone home with me and I'd have been thrilled. The collection is so fresh and contemporary, it actually made me want to start five projects at once. They don't have a ton of large-format canvases, but there are some. Personally, I just wrapped up a belt project that took me...wait for it...20 years. Yes, two decades. I like to think of it as slow stitching, not procrastination. After finally finishing, over the past 6 or so months, I searched and searched for my next project and am a little bummed I didn't find this shop sooner. Turns out they weren't on Yelp. I actually stumbled upon them on TikTok, and in true enabler fashion, I set them up on Yelp myself. I had already bought my next canvases online, so when I came in I only needed all the fun extras to get started. Alice, who helped me, was fantastic. She set me up with the perfect thread colors, a needle minder, needles, stretcher bars and pins, and even a stitch book. Basically, she made sure I had everything except the snacks to sustain me through my next marathon project. And get this, they have in store classes too (check the website)! I'm absolutely psyched to go, because I could use a few tips to shorten my average project timeline from 20 years to less than 10. This place is such a great find. Whether you're brand new and "needlepoint curious" or a long-hauler like me, stop here first. You'll walk out happy, inspired, and probably with way more goodies than you planned. This place was literally the highlight of my week!!!

Good selection & pretty store design. I wanted to like it here & was excited to check it out. The…read moreyoung women that work there need to be nicer & more engaged. They don't greet you, don't offer help & seemed bothered when I have a question. No customer service etiquette. Essentially, they are aloof & rude. The older women are better but can also use a refresher in customer service. Needlepointing should be fun, they need to remember that while working. They're not solving worlds problems in there - be nicer!!

I was really pleased to get some Knitting for Olive in the US, since I don't like to pay international shipping for it online. They also carry Re:designed project bags, which I haven't ever seen sold anywhere in person before. I also bought some Manos Del Uruguay Fino. They have a nice selection of some of my favorite fancy fibers. The prices were on par with any other high end yarn store I've been to in my life.

Can I just say WOW?! I've been to at least a hundred yarn shops and boutiques, because I travel to…read moresee them. This one is hands down my favorite yarn selection. She doesn't have malabrigo, because she understands the value of her shop space; she's using it to curate the finest selection of fibers and yarn bases I have ever seen and cutting out the yarns you can find everywhere. She's also has the largest selection of BIPOC owned and dyed yarns I have ever seen, if you're looking to support that! Meredith was super nice and greeted me when I entered but didn't hover over me and let me look around. If you actually look at all of the yarns she's got, be prepared to spend at least an hour in the shop. I took tons of pictures so that you can see what I saw-- a very finely curated selection of superwash and non-superwash yarns, hand dyed and local yarns, as well as some of the finest that Europe has to offer. She even has CaMaRose Snefnug, which I had never seen in a shop before. It's all priced competitively and the whole shop is decorated beautifully in a rainbow of colors. Their website states that they are LGBTQ+ friendly, and I have no doubt it's true. Don't miss this one!
