I was shock to get that when I order side of salad for 6$.. Beside that my tuna melt came cold ..

Quant. Charming. Friendly service. Really cute place. The pastries look amazing! The coffees we had were good.

Amazing experience here. Especially appreciated Albert, Adrieon, and Erik's service. They were very helpful and patient with my indecisiveness despite coming close to closing time! We ordered a Pecan Cinnamon roll, in which they warmed it up for us. It tasted great! Would definitely come again.

Parfait is French and means 'Perfect' and may also be a dessert; perfect dessert. There are over 9 locations throughout Southern California, including this newly opened cafe in La Jolla. Occupying the former space held by Beard Papa located on Girard. Limited street parking and some private lots for a fee. The cafe has outdoor and indoor seating. Of the number of times I've visited, it was clean and I was cordially greeted. The staff have always been helpful and super nice. The display case showcases to die for desserts, macarons and gelato. Also offered are coffee, teas drinks, sandwiches and salads. Have only had pastry desserts and coffee drinks here and I must say, the ingredients includes french butter from Normandy and Swiss chocolate is evident in the taste. The owners are of French origin and incorporate their love for France in all their creations and one can tell...fait maison avec amour, which translates as made in house with love. I Like that fact they use stoneware and silverware and bring your order to your table with a genuine smile. My pup Fendi is very picky about everything but she loves the macarons here. I recently tried the Dubai Pain Swiss pastry and latte, both delish. As a loyal Frenchie I prefer the fantastique Almond croissant, always perfect...Parfait Paris! A welcome addition to the La Jolla community. Recommend

The two ladies that helped me and my family pick out desserts were patient and gave great recommendations. We got the mango, strawberry and the bread pudding. At almost 15$ a piece. I struggle to see the value. However everything was delicious.

    Crookie and crème brûlée latte

Went to the shops for a lazy morning. Parfait Paris gave the perfect experience with a nice crème brûlée latte and chocolate chip crookie. Just the perfect amount of flakey with the croissant and ooey goodness in the center. Can't wait to come back!

    So cute!!!

Amazing menu! Everything is so fresh and beautiful, too! Love the indoors but great outside seating too! Super location! We will be back! Astrid went above and beyond to help us!!!! Thank you so much

Amazing pastries! Not too sweet, but lots of flavors! Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. Special shout out to the Nutella Pasteur. This is a typical cafe, order and take a seat in one of their comfy leather seats. Very clean as well and they have gelato!

Here is the rude worker in the back.

My wife and I stopped by to pick up an iced mocha and I asked if I could use the restroom, but it was closed for cleaning. I ordered my mocha and walked out on the patio to give to my wife the mocha. A customer walked in the restroom and closed the door, so I thought it was was ready. My wife walked in and asked if she could use the restroom, and the first thing the worker in the back says is "did you order something" rudely. He could have politely said that it another way, without making my spouse feel that way.

I stopped by Parfait with a close friend when visiting San Diego. The service was on point. I had a ton of questions that were all addressed by their staff in addition to great recommendations. I ended up getting the Nutella Croissant Roll and the French Pudding. The French Pudding was amazing. Their French Pudding is made of croissant dough and filled with cinnamon, pecan and caramel with chocolate on top. It was top 5 pastry I've ever had. I would hope that they would bring this pastry place to the east coast.

It's packed with unique home goods, chic trinkets, and aesthetic lifestyle items. Be sure to wander all the way to the back shelves--there are so many hidden gems worth taking home! The staff upfront and on the floor were incredibly warm, welcoming, and happy to chat while you browse. As you head toward the back, the space opens up into a dream of a café. One of the cutest touches is being able to actually watch the bakers rolling out fresh dough and crafting pastries right before your eyes. The smell of rich espresso and buttery pastry crust filling the air is irresistible. I grabbed a coffee and a fresh pastry, waited a short bit for a table on the patio, and pulled out my journal. Listening to the ambient music and ocean breeze in the courtyard while writing was pure heaven. Whether you're stopping in to shop for home decor, grab a top-tier espresso, or just soak in the slow, luxurious rhythm of La Jolla, this place is perfection.

Food: I got the lavender agave latte. If you like your coffee strong, don't get this drink. It was good but tasted like hot sweet milk, I couldn't taste the coffee at all. Pistachio croissant: this thing is giant. And heavy. It will fill you up. The filling was thick and definitely needed a drink to help move it along. It was okay, nothing to write home about. Service: everyone was super kind and I got my drink quickly. Super sweet employees. The ambience was so nice. I loved spending some time reading my book there before work. Specifically, a white or yellow fluffy bread with light not sugary sweet icing and a light vanilla custard filling with multiple berries...this cake has many names and I found some of the best at Tutto Bene Beverly Hills, Sweet Lady Jane Beverly Hills and sometimes at WholeFoods all named differently. When I saw some posted pics of this cake from this shop, I was so excited to try it. This is a very small shop with only one table inside and a few more in the outdoor patio. For reference, this cake shop is across from Pavilions in La Jolla, where I parked and grocery shopped before crossing the street to this cake shop. Upon entry I saw their version: Gateau Aileen. 'Gateau' is french for cake and Aileen is someone's name. I ordered a slice togo. The female staff behind the counter was helpful and friendly. The display case also had macarons and lots of other enticing desserts, and a small shelf of wines and sparkling wines. With excitement and anticipation, I headed home immediately and plated my slice on my fancy porcelain dish. After the first bite, I was shocked with disappointment to realized this is NOT the one, Not even close to other versions I've had. Apparently, this cake looked better than it tasted, and it tasted horribly bad, possibly the cake passed its expiration date, because ups on closer inspections, the strawberries on top looked over ripen. Good thing I didn't order a whole cake, but I hate spending any $$ on anything I can't enjoy. Perhaps is was just an off day at this bakery. Sadly, whoever Aileen is should not be associated with this awful tasting thing they call Gateau Aileen is cake NOT worthy of your Royal tastebuds. Sorry, NOT Sorry, Cannot Recommend

It didn't feel like the polished presentation we expected for a wedding cake. The venue staff had to place the top tier themselves, and because it wasn't properly secured, it nearly fell off during our cake cutting in front of our guests. We were under the impression that wedding cakes were a standard part of their business, but based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend them for weddings or other special occasions when a polished product is expected.
