He gave him 2 options for appointments, specifically either Monday or Tuesday of the following week. When he was finished, I asked for an appointment, and he flipped through his appointment book and said there would not be an appointment available for months and months. This was curious as the customer before me got 2 options of appointments for the next week. I wonder if the difference was race based. I was able to get an appointment at another shop and do not recommend this place if you are not a white person.

Rick's father, Dick, was the face of the business when I was a young driver, and I was conflicted about him. An excellent auto mechanic, he presented as a no nonsense man of few words, so I was scared to death of him. Rick is his equal as a mechanic and much less taciturn. His wife, Jill, handles the books.
