A female concierge got inappropriately touched by one of the residents, yet Jeremy did nothing but blame her. So many great employees have walked out on this place because of his neglect. Also do not bring your loved ones to this place as they are ALWAYS out of something and I don't kid when I say ALWAYS. This place needs an Executive Director that cares and gets out of his office and does something. The place is really nice buts it's just a cover up to the bad things. I was reminded of Parkwood while talking with my mom's home health nurse. She has a new patient in Parkwood. I was interested in reading reviews to see if anything had changed. Doesn't look like it. Whatever you do, do NOT place your loved one in their memory care. Take a look at it and you'll know why. Four years ago, we were all still dealing with problems resulting from Covid. I tried to explain the issues we had at Parkwood on that. Primarily, the caregivers were very inattentive. My parents were in Parkwood for six weeks rehab. One day I found my mother lying across the bed with her pants down below her hips. An aide had taken her to the bathroom and left her like that when she mentioned that at home her husband normally helped her with that. The aide said ok and left her. I was more than happy to get my parents out when their rehab was over. I don't know if the director is the same person, but the director at that time was totally indifferent and did nothing about the issues I brought to his attention. Only unpleasant memories of Parkwood. I do not recommend it.

They treat each and every resident with such kindness and understanding. To be honest, sometimes they are dealing with a group that acts like 2 year olds but never is their an unkind word or grumpiness. Oak Hollow is always clean and never has there been a foul odor. We could not have selected a better place for my mother-in-law! They bring in life music and it is such a joy to see the residents dance or sing every word to a song. It takes them back to a time when they were healthy and happy! Last week they even had a luau with Elvis Presley singing. Residents had plastic grass skirts and flower bands on their hands. Quite the party followed with Coconut Shrimp, fruit galore and cheese and crackers. We even have a family support group that meets the last Thursday of every month. If your loved one requires memory care, this is the place for them! Thank you to everyone at Oak Hollow. Words cannot express my appreciation for all you do!

The facility looked nice but when you have someone that is out front that is the clients first impression, well then, you all have a problem. Just being honest. My father was in and out of the hospital a lot. Eventually I had to end his living at atria because he was in the hospital for over 3 months. The facility could/ should have notified me the family member that they were about to destroy his leftover medication , so that I could have saved him hundreds of dollars. Now that he is being discharged finally from the hospital I have to repurchase all his medication again. They should really consider rectifying this policy. I don't believe any new caretaker would know in advance that the medication would be destroyed so quickly.

My father has lived here for about 18 months. We are very happy with his care. The facility is…read morenot new, but, the caregivers and activities director are great and have not had turnover. The director of the facility has changed a couple of times and we've had 1new nurse, but, he has been there for about 9 months and is really good with my father. Dad is happy and healthier than he has been for years with his consistent care.
