It seems somewhat reasonable if you are choosing to move to another retirement community or moving in with realitives, etc...BUT if you are moving to an assisted facility You have to give a 60 day notice. I was not able to do that. My Mom declined quickly so I had to move her to a facility to keep her safe and to give her help. They don't budge on that 60 days at all. If you die you have to give a 30 day notice! Renter beware!! For this reason I do not recommend Parc Place! My Mom is out of thousands of dollars!! ..

They are rude and are the reason the kitchen is severely understaffed, yet Jeremy does nothing about it. A female concierge got inappropriately touched by one of the residents, yet Jeremy did nothing but blame her. So many great employees have walked out on this place because of his neglect. Also do not bring your loved ones to this place as they are ALWAYS out of something and I don't kid when I say ALWAYS. This place needs an Executive Director that cares and gets out of his office and does something. The place is really nice buts it's just a cover up to the bad things. Residents in Independent Living are completely out of control.

Both my parents were in this facility four years ago for rehab. I had sworn I would never use this…read morehorrible facility again, which I have not. I was reminded of Parkwood while talking with my mom's home health nurse. She has a new patient in Parkwood. I was interested in reading reviews to see if anything had changed. Doesn't look like it. Whatever you do, do NOT place your loved one in their memory care. Take a look at it and you'll know why. Four years ago, we were all still dealing with problems resulting from Covid. I tried to explain the issues we had at Parkwood on that. Primarily, the caregivers were very inattentive. My parents were in Parkwood for six weeks rehab. One day I found my mother lying across the bed with her pants down below her hips. An aide had taken her to the bathroom and left her like that when she mentioned that at home her husband normally helped her with that. The aide said ok and left her. I was more than happy to get my parents out when their rehab was over. I don't know if the director is the same person, but the director at that time was totally indifferent and did nothing about the issues I brought to his attention. Only unpleasant memories of Parkwood. I do not recommend it.

My father was in and out of the hospital a lot. Eventually I had to end his living at atria because he was in the hospital for over 3 months. The facility could/ should have notified me the family member that they were about to destroy his leftover medication , so that I could have saved him hundreds of dollars. Now that he is being discharged finally from the hospital I have to repurchase all his medication again. They should really consider rectifying this policy. I don't believe any new caretaker would know in advance that the medication would be destroyed so quickly.

I, as a nurse, have warned her that she needs to implement BLOOD PRESSURE checks whenever the team gives BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION. She, instead, fought that and would not even give me the time of day to try to implement something or talk to the corporate team. BP/HTN is KNOWN as the silent killer among all healthcare professionals, this is KNOWN NELGECT. As a nurse for 10years, I highly recommend against this facility for the time being. Please protect your loved ones and do whats right.

My father has lived here for about 18 months. We are very happy with his care. The facility is…read morenot new, but, the caregivers and activities director are great and have not had turnover. The director of the facility has changed a couple of times and we've had 1new nurse, but, he has been there for about 9 months and is really good with my father. Dad is happy and healthier than he has been for years with his consistent care.
