Choosing Marti was easily the best choice I could have ever made and I am forever a client of Marti's. I will never look elsewhere when adopting my next Havanese (or a breed that isn't a Havanese, for that matter). I adopted Cookie, formally Cartier, from the "C" litter. From our first phone call in Fall 2024, Marti was attentive to the details of my life and what kind of puppy temperament would be best fit for my lifestyle. She is kind, SO communicative, and the most detail-oriented, loving, and caring person/breeder. Seeing how loved these puppies are far before they are even born was constant reassurance that I made the best choice. I would receive multiple texts/pictures/videos a day when Cookie was born. So anxious and excited to get my puppy, Marti answered all of my questions and was always so reassuring and kind. Cookie came to me loving her crate (this was a game changer), being exposed to so many sights and sounds (her groomer says she is better behaved than adult dogs she's been grooming for years ), and is the epitome of a perfect puppy and I truly owe it all to Marti because she set Cookie (and the rest of her litter) up for complete success. Everyone in my life is so surprised when they hear how young Cookie is because she is truly so well behaved, has a great sense of independence, and loves to just hang with our crew. I get a reply with her daughters Venmo info and nothing else I kindly asked again about my questions (thinking maybe she didn't see that part) and I get a dismissive reply saying she's too busy and suggests I find another breeder. Every other breeder I've reached out to who are surely equally as busy as Lisa have had absolutely no problem answering a few simple questions before taking my money because they want you to be happy with your puppy. As that is best for the pup and the owner. Her pups are $1800 more than almost any other breeder in the country. I'm not sure why, but it's definitely not because of their outstanding customer service. 2 stars instead of 1 star because she was at least clear that she won't communicate with you until you pay up. When I came across their website I quickly realized that they were very knowledgeable with both breeds. Hershey is 10 and going strong; I believe this is tightly attributed to her linage! Both Hershey and Noya are a very important part of our lives. The one we ended up choosing was Snowflake. She was a 13 week schnoodle. At first when Ashlee brought Snowflake out, she was very shy and timid. But that's to be expected from meeting new people for the very first time. Slowly Snowflake opened up and she was so sweet. We ended up buying her that weekend, but we were not prepared at home for Snowflake. Ashlee offered to keep Snowflake for a week so we could buy all the necessary things for her! So kind of Ashlee to offer. We came back the following weekend and picked up Snowflake. Ashlee was very knowledgeable and informative of all our questions. She also mentioned that their team is available to us for the lifetime of the dog! They also provided a very detailed handbook for us to review, and it was so helpful. When we brought Snowflake home, she was shy and scared but that's because it was an unfamiliar place. Snowflake was already litter box trained and did so well at that at home too. She eventually started to open up. Snowflake is now 16 weeks and is the sweetest little girl. She learns so quick! Ashlee also mentioned her dogs are very aware of the word "no." Snowflake picked up a lot of things very fast and is very into words of affirmation. We also just had her 16 weeks vet check up and Snowflake is a healthy puppy. We couldn't have asked for more. Ashlee and her team are always available. Whenever I had a question, she would respond within minutes. I felt very secure knowing we had a puppy from someone who has been in the breeding business for a long time.
