We got the goldendoodle Amber on last Saturday. She is so friendly and lovely. We had a Thanksgivings party for the whole family. Amber acted like a hostess to greet everyone, everybody instantly fell in love with her. I was tired last night and was laying on my couch. She somehow managed to jump up on the couch. She licked all over my face and then laid on my lap and slept with me. The breeder James is very professional and provides lots of information for for the well being of the dog!
We purchased a medium mini Goldendoodle. She was supposed to be 25-40 lbs. at 8 months old she is already over 50 lbs. You aren't allowed to see them in person before purchasing and you only get 2 sets of photos. They contract out a lot of their breeding to families who have purchased their puppies so I don't think there is a lot of knowledge regarding the puppies personality. We love our pup, but overall I think the experience could have been better.
My parents really wanted a goldendoodle as their second dog, so when I came across California Goldendoodle through Yelp and Instagram, I texted Paul right away to begin our search. From the start, Paul was very friendly and gave great details about their upcoming litter and when we would be able to get the puppy of our preference. The month we were supposed to bring our puppy home, Paul called to notify me that our puppy was born with an extremely rare condition and that they wouldn't be able to guarantee she could fully recover from it and be healthy even after being on antibiotics. While we were bummed to hear this news, I really appreciated Paul and James's honesty and transparency throughout this process. As an alternative solution, James offered our family the option to receive a full refund of our initial deposit, or wait for another litter for a few more months. We decided to get a refund of our deposit first to give us some more time to think things through, but we eventually got in touch with Paul again as we really wanted to bring a pup home. It's been about 7 months since my parents brought their puppy home from this place, and they are super happy with their decision! She's very healthy, energetic, and gets along with everyone inside and outside of the house. In just about a week, my parents were able to potty train the pup! She's a super smart F1mini goldendoodle and we're so happy to give her the home she deserves. :) Thanks again to Paul and James for being so professional and honest!
I highly recommend California Goldendoodle for all your mini and golden doodle pups. I got Kobe a week and a half ago and I'm in love. He's such a good puppy and my daughter and I love him so much. James the breeder was so thorough and kept me well informed of what Kobe needs and how he was doing up until I picked him up. If you're looking for a golden doodle, California Goldendoodle is the place to go. Ask for James. Thanks again and we love our little Kobe
I'm really not sure where to start, but I would like to say that this business is the epitome of what it means to care about their customers. There's so many great things I would like to say about James but I don't know where to start. He's professional and friendly, yet he really cares about you and the health of his pups. I could ensure you if you were to think about using them for a breeder' you will be doing the right thing. It's very hard to find ethical breeders nowadays' I have ran into some really crazy situations, but this transaction from beginning to end was amazing. I plan on using James in the future for at least two more puppies

From the moment I called to enquirer about finding a mini goldendoodle, James was so engaging and informative. We waited several months before we actually got Riley since we were traveling and wanted to be home with him as a puppy. James kept us updated about the pregnancy and birth and sent photos until we could finally pick him up. It was a great experience for us and I stay in contact with James sending him photos and updates on Riley. Cutest dog ever!

That's dedication right there! He sent photos/ videos of the puppies throughout the process which made our hearts explode with all the cuteness! It wasn't about the money because there were other breeders that charged less. The most important part of bringing a puppy home is making sure it's coming from a breeder who cares and you know the puppies are well taken care of. The day we picked up our Luna, she was perfect in every way. Even more perfect in person! I am so thankful to have found California Goldendoodle and more thankful for having an amazing breeder! I purchased my little boy a year ago, they had the paper work ready and were very helpful with tips/recommendations for his diet. As recommended, after the purchase I took him for an exam and the results were exactly what I was hoping for "healthy and no signs of concerns". Fast forward to a year now; my little boy is turning one. His adult coat is coming in and it's beautiful. He's been healthy, full of energy and love. I'm thankful I reached out to CG that Wednesday afternoon after seeing their Instagram post; one of the best decisions I've made. Keep up the great work and service CG!
We are so grateful to find California Goldendoodle, we've been looking to find a trustworthy breeder to get a mini golden doodle for couple of months. From the first day when we called James, he was patiently answered all our questions, he updated us with our puppy's pictures and all the health records during the wait time ,he even gave us military discount :) we got our puppy on May 25th on my birthday and Teddy the best birthday gift ever. My husband and kids fell in love with Mr. Teddy at the first sight. Teddy is our first puppy, he is super smart, healthy and sweet little boy. We love our little golden doodle!! Theo has brought so much joy to our family. They are a little crazy and hyper but are always so much fun! California golden doodle made it easy for me as a first time dog mom . They provided a list of vaccines needed and already dewormed him and started him with some of the vaccines ! He also got a little sick in his transition and they reimbursed me for his first vet visit ( so nice ) . I would totally recommend them !!

Communication is A+, and James came all the way to San Francisco to deliver me her :) The pup itself is healthy so far (only have had her for a week), and already learning tricks/slowly getting potty trained. Only time will tell, but i'm amazed at what a good girl she is right now having only been at my house for like a week! Highly recommend.

Update. This dog is human, or at least he's definitely convinced he is. The most wonderful companion. Definitely too smart for his own good. Taught himself to open doors. Just so ridiculously loving. We got our dog Theo in November 2021 and had a great experience! The whole process was easy and clear, and communication was prompt and thorough. It was very convenient to find a breeder locally without having to travel far. Throughout the process I believe we spoke with both Paul and James as we were preparing to take Theo home. They were very professional and helpful as this is our first dog. As someone else mentioned, they also asked what we were planning on naming him so they can get him used to his name before coming home. We get sooo many compliments when walking around with him, especially at Irvine Spectrum. It happens so often, we are used to it lol. Theo is so friendly and loves greeting other dogs and making human friends! His coloring definitely grabs people's attention, and his energy makes people love him even more. Best of all, he is the PERFECT dog with our 3 month old. He is so patient and will cuddle next to her and let her "pet" him. Theo completes our family and we are so happy we found Goldendoodle California! read more

When my husband and I first talked about getting our daughters a puppy we started looking for a breeder that was local to us and was so happy to have found California Goldendoodle. I'm so happy with our experience at California Goldendoodle! It's been a week since we brought Moose home & James is still checking in and super responsive if I have questions or concerns. James was flexible with scheduling to meet the puppy and made everyone comfortable with their social distancing protocol. We met in public and he wore masks. He had all of the paperwork ready to go and already took the puppies to visit a vet beforehand. We will be happy to refer California Goldendoodle to others looking for healthy & beautiful puppies in the future! read more

My family and are were beyond satisfied with the adoption process with James. Along with the puppy shortage due to COVID-19, we were convinced that we wouldn't be able to get a puppy for at least 6 months. But we got lucky when James reached out to me only a few days after applying. I wasn't able to pick Sandy up for a few days later since we live in San Francisco but James was very accommodating and let me pick her up on the weekend. Both him and his Uncle were tons of help and my family felt very safe adopting from such reliable people. We are beyond thrilled to have Sandy be apart of our family! James was amazing throughout the entire process! He was quick to respond to texts and phones calls, helpful when asking questions, and accommodating with payment options and pick up times. Not to mention, Princess (now named Nezuko) is sweet as a peach.Her vet even noted that she was well taken care of. It's coming up on one year of having our baby girl. We were assisted by Paul through the whole process and it was fairly simple. We also got very lucky and were in the market at the right time and they had a fresh litter available. Once we picked up our pup we took her to the vet as required and she was a healthy girl. She's grown healthy without any issues, she's energetic and full of love. We recently celebrated her first birthday and are so happy we were able to bring her home. read more

Both James and Paul provided Excellent customer service from beginning to current. It's been over a month since we got our pup and they check in with us to make sure everything is going well. They were great at communicating during the adoption process which started in April. They provided a Great contract which not only protects the dog owner but also looks out for the best interest in our pup. We are in love with her. James and Paul thank you so much for going above and beyond for us who live in the bay to make us feel at ease with everything. read more

After searching extensively online for a Mini Golden Doodle we were starting to feel a little anxious about all the negative reviews we had seen on multiple breeders sites. We were also concerned about having a puppy shipped to us and putting the puppy through the stress of flying across the country, without any guarantee that the puppy would be healthy when received. We came across California Golden Doodle and to our surprise there was nothing but great reviews on Yelp. We thought it must be too good to be true however decided to connect with them in the morning and ask questions, as there was a picture of a litter on their site that looked absolutely adorable and would be available in a couple weeks. The next morning we spoke with James who told us about a little boy that was still available. James was very informative and passionate about the puppy. He was able to give us a lot of information about the puppy's background and answer all of the questions we had. After we hung up, James sent us pictures of the puppy and we instantly fell in love with his gorgeous little face! We immediately informed James we wanted the puppy and from that point on the process was so streamlined and professional. We transferred the deposit for the puppy and no other money was asked for until the day of adoption. The agreement papers we received were very impressive as they really did have the puppy's best interest at heart. James also asked what we would be naming the puppy so they could start calling him by his name. This made us so happy and showed us that they really cared! The most difficult part of the process was having to wait the 2 weeks until we were able to pick up our puppy. It was the longest 2 weeks ever... however it really did give us the time we needed to prep for our new addition to the family. James sent us another set of pics halfway through the waiting period for us to see his progress. Finally pick up day came and we drove from San Diego to Irvine to meet James and our new puppy. Oh my goodness, what can I say... our puppy was just as adorable as the pics and he was so full of life! We instantly fell in love with this little guy! It was also so nice meeting James in person, he was really great and it was evident he really loved the puppies he was giving away for adoption. 'Major' has now been a part of our lives for 2 weeks and he is so happy and healthy and the cutest baby ever! We just adore him! James also sent us pictures of Major's Mom and Dad, it was so sweet to see where this little bundle of joy came from and he looked just like him Mom! We feel so blessed to have come across California Golden Doodle, this really was the best experience in getting a puppy and we would highly recommend it to anyone! Adding a fur baby to the family is a big decision but we could not have asked for a better experience than what we had with California Goldendoodle. Paul was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. They stood by their word providing us with our happy and healthy new addition to the family, Brodie. He is a mini F1b Goldendoodle that is extremely well tempered and CUTE! Paul, and owner of the company, James, even took the time to reach out and check on how Brodie was settling in his new home. Amazing service and communication between myself and James (and his team!). They were quick to respond whenever I had questions about the process (from signing up to picking up) and about my puppy (Sandy). They provided detailed updates on vet check-ups, pictures, videos, and her overall demeanor before she was ready for pick-up. James and his team were welcoming and supportive every step of the way! California Goldendoodle had great reviews so we reached out to them. I had heard so many horror stories of people getting scammed so I was pretty nervous about finding a legit breeder. California Goldendoodle are LEGIT! They were so professional and secure the whole time, had the exact dog we wanted (medium Goldendoodle F1b, boy) and sent us such cute pictures of him until he was ready to be picked up! We love our F1B Standard Goldendoodle that we received from California Goldendoodle. Paul responded right away when I sent in the inquiry to purchase a puppy. We contacted Paul when a new litter was born and had to wait 9 weeks to receive our puppy. At about 5 weeks Paul sent us pictures of the litter and we got the first pick. We immediately put our deposit down in anticipation of receiving our fur baby. Paul sent us information on crate training and a list of things we would need along with what type of food to purchase for or puppy. The puppy came with a microchips already placed, up to date shot records and one year health guarantee. The process was seem-less. I will definitely recommend this company if your interested in purchasing a puppy and I'll most likely be purchasing another dog once we get a house with a back yard. My little guy Bark Buffalo is 4 months old now :) I got him when he was 8 weeks old, and I knew when I saw him he was the puppy for me lol! Paul has just been so great these last months. He has answered every question, and believe me I had a lot lol. He really has a love for all his puppies and you can tell that he takes a lot of pride in his business and reputation. I am very particular, and I talked to lots of breeders before finding Paul, and I must say he is a cut above the rest. Absolutely amazing!!! My little guy is soooooooooooo smart and healthy and I KNOW that that is due to excellent breeding!! An example of how smart Bark Buffalo is; within a week he was 90% potty trained. In the last 2 month we have had less than 10 accidents in the house, now that is amazing! And my puppy has the best temperament, playful but then knows how to relax.
