It's a cute place in Cheyenne that I'd go back to. We street parked, and the entrance is a bit confusing. You can see the sign for Paramount from a distance, but the entrance is on the right side of where you think the entrance would be. Strangely enough, once you go into the cafe (the dark half), you can also go to the left section which seems to be owned by Paramount. Aside from the confusing cafe layout, the coffee shop is cute and provides good coffee. It's not the best coffee I've had, but the variety in their specialty and the well decorated location makes me want to go back. I'd happily spend hours reading or working on a project here. The service was solid and quick. There's not much to say besides how the employees did their jobs well.

We loved this cafe so much! Not only is it beautiful, it's also delicious. We ordered 3 drinks (different lattes) and everyone loved them. The coffee is great quality, and the baristas were friendly. Whenever I'm back in Cheyenne this will be my go to!

AMAZING ambiance for a coffee shop! It's only temporarily in the ballroom while they renovate the main coffee area, but it's in an old theater and there's history everywhere you look with pictures of historic Cheyenne, books, and the vintage decor. I had a seasonal caramel latte drink and it was one of the best I've had. The service was great and it's definitely worth a visit!

Such a sweet place to visit! The baristas were so friendly and gave excellent drink suggestions! The place was clean and very well kept. I got the Chaga chocolate drink and it was so sweet and flavorful. I also got a Samoa coffee and that one was also pretty good! Definitely recommend stopping by!

A really nice cafe in downtown Cheyenne. It is very spacious, and seems to be connected to the Paramount bar next door? Interior was kind of fun with all the Halloween decorations when we stopped by. The service was welcoming and nice. I ordered lavender latte and it was really well made. I would definitely come back here next time we come through Cheyenne.

I love the decor at this cute cafe! We stopped at Cheyenne on our way to Keystone and the summer sun drove us in for a chilling bubble tea. The tea was great, the guy at the counter very chatty and friendly! If you walk off to the right, there's a wonderful seating area with comfy chairs and couches, a piano, bookshelf and very nice art work. read more

Super cute, independent coffee house in downtown Cheyenne. The girls working were awesome and made great recommendations, the Chai tea latte was delicious and just the thing on a snowy winters day! I had the breakfast burrito (veggie!) which is made off site, chilled and then re-heated when ordered...at first this made me a little nervous but it was so tasty and you couldn't tell it was re-heated at all! YUM! Its a great place with great atmosphere, you can pick up a guitar or play piano and just kick back and relax and enjoy a great little location! Cant wait to come back next time I am in the area. read more

The Paramount Cafe has great coffee and a wonderful atmosphere. My daughters love the bubble tea as well. You go in and most of the baristas know you by name, adding to the charm. There are tables where you can do business, larger tables where you can have a small group meeting and comfortable chairs where you can sit down and relax while enjoying the coffee. Highly recommend anyone in downtown Cheyenne stop here and get a drink. #shoplocal read more

Updated: Maybe I was a little hard on my review this morning; however, at no point did I feel appreciated for my visit (even after the gratuity). I had to ask 2 separate times where the different condiments were and I believe they could have offered this info up. I was made to feel like I was bothering them. I was a first-timer, from out of town. I'm sure the local, regular customers feel differently. The vintage building was great and it was apparent that they will be doing some renovating, since we saw and heard some of the management discussing it with a contractor. There could have been more outdoor seating. read more

I adore this little cafe. It's such a refreshing change from Starbucks. The drinks are delicious and don't taste like the same shtuff you can get pretty much at any other coffee shop on the planet. I love their drink names "The Super Saiyan" and "Butter Beer" based on Harry Potter. I tried their London Fog (earl grey tea, steamed milk, honey and vanilla) and it really made my morning. As the weather get's colder this will definitely be where I have my coffee. read more

AMAZING local coffee shop. I've lived in Cheyenne my whole life and I've never had coffee as good as the Paramount. Every Friday night I go to open mic night :) you find friends and talented people. The staff is very friendly and make their coffee with lots of love. And especially when I am skating around town I stop in for free water :) even if I don't purchase anything the staff is amazing towards me. read more

We had the egg salad sandwich and what I guess you'd call a keto plate. We got the light and bold coffees. All was super good and fresh and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the outdoor seating with the nice mural on the wall. read more

I just got a small tea and when it was done I sipped frantically hoping that more would magically appear. I'll be back in fifteen minutes for a large coffee. And probably some snacks. I want it all. The Paramount is truly transcendent. read more

It is okay, but they really need to expand and make the coffee brewing area bigger. The service would be more efficient if the baristas weren't stepping in each other's way. Its a good area for Pokemon to spawn as well. read more

Well done Cheyenne! Beautiful and historic atmosphere. It's nice to see a business in Cheyenne embrace the beauty that came before and not try to change it. There are very few places in downtown that harken back to historic beauty of downtown and there ought to be more. Being a Seattle transplant I've missed the intimate setting of a coffee shop that served a decent brew. Paramount Cafe, I've missed you and I'm excited we've met. read more

This review is mainly for the bubble tea. I was very surprised to find a boba bubble tea joint in Cheyenne, WY! I stayed here for my clinical rotation and am from an area with an abundance of boba teas, and this place falls just under the bar. The staff was very helpful in selection and recommended the avocado flavor. Its not terrible, and hits the spot if you're craving it and there's no other place in the area (which, there isn't!). The drink seems like its made of powder, but had a creamy rich flavor. It wasn't mixed well and separated when it sits for a while. The cafe itself is very cute with two rooms of seating areas. There are also tables and chairs outside. read more

Never disappointed. I have tried iced chai tea, dirty chai tea latte, multiple flavors of bubble tea, black coffee, and cold brewed coffee and also their breakfast burritos. The burritos were just ok but that doesn't effect my rating because I don't judge a coffee shop on their food.. I judge them on their coffee which by the way is outstanding! read more

Good coffee and great atmosphere! There was no food available the time I was there, so I'd recommend that if you're hungry you get a bite elsewhere before settling in for an enjoyable time at this place. It's what a coffee shop is meant to be! The player piano is really cool too. read more

The avocado bubble tea is very tasty! I've had only this a few times as its my fav. The coffee smells wonderful though and the staff are hip and friendly. If I someday have time to just hang out here with a book and not have to drag along my kiddo, I imagine I'd find this place even more charming and cozy. There seems to be some lovely history in this old building that is perfectly located. Local art is a nice touch. I dig it! read more

Cute little cafe in the heart of Cheyenne. Stopped through here on our way back to Omaha, NE from Fort Collins in need of coffee and sustenance. Great iced americanos and a few pastry options, plus a cooler with yogurt and other prepared goodies. Friendly staff and plenty of seating inside if you'd like to stay awhile. read more

Featuring monthly changing art shows from local artists, lots of outdoor seating in our back patio! Voted Cheyenne's favorite coffee shop year after year!

History

Established in 2012.

Located in the old lobby to the Paramount Theater which was destroyed by a fire in 1981, the coffee shop was opened in December 2012. New owners, Jon and Renee Jelinek, took over in April 2013 and have revamped the decor and menu to create an inviting space to hang out for a drink in our cafe, art gallery or patio garden, or grab one to go. Also serving vegetarian grab and go food items made fresh daily!

Meet the Business Owner: Jon and Renee J.

Jon and Renee own several other local businesses including a nonprofit the started in 2012, The Alternative Arts Project, which gives free music lessons to teens. They are active volunteers in many organizations including several trips to Uganda where they have started a small orphanage. They love being a part of downtown Cheyenne and being able to give back to their community.

They carry a huge range of loose leaf tea blends, healing herbs, and unique gifts, along with tea sets, books, and little treasures you won't find anywhere else. The food menu had a great selection as well! They offer gluten free choices, which I really appreciated. I ended up getting the gluten free brownie and you can't tell it's gluten free! So decadent and chocolatey. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease. Such a charming tea spot in downtown Cheyenne. Would love to come back!

The bagels were excellent. They also do free refills on drip coffee. We've ended up picking up a 1/2 dozen bagels to go.

Nice place to relax with a hot cup of tea or coffee. Warm and inviting with a nice selection of beverages and baked goods. My stomach was still feeling the wrath of Blackjack Pizza, so I left the cookies for another visit. Went with a caramel coffee, which was excellent. The customer service really makes this place. Strawberry Bubble Tea-- very interesting! But was good! Since its rather cold outside,to go we got Hot Cider and Hot Snow, both of which is VERY good, if your not a coffee drinker I would highly recommend those here! read more
