Came during a weekend afternoon. Place appeared clean. They had some shaded area with picnic…read moretables. Parking in the gravel parking lot was free. There were some trees near the parking lot for shade. Checked in at the mobile trailer office. Luckily, there was air conditioning inside the office. We signed an electric waiver inside the office and were emailed a copy of the waiver. Paid $10 for one token which gets 25 clay targets, $15 for one box of ammo, and $20 to rent the shotgun. Got some ear plugs there for $1. They sold protective eyeglasses for $13.99. Weird we paid with cash, but did not get the cash price. After we paid, a staff member came to get us and walked us to the shooting area. The shooting area had a shaded picnic table to put our stuff. We handed our token to the staff. Each round of shooting (25 clay targets) takes anywhere from half an hour to an hour. Didn't receive much instructions from the staff, but we figured it out. Don't point your weapon at anyone, and always have the safety on until ready. Overall, it was really fun and would return to shoot again.

At times, the experience feels more like an inconvenience than a service. When you arrive, you check in at one location, then have to go to a second location to get your ticket. Unfortunately, the employees at the second location often seem bothered or inconvenienced that you are there to shoot. It is disappointing because I have been coming here for years and used to really enjoy this place. The outdoor range is great, but the overall customer-service experience has declined to the point where I will no longer be maintaining my membership.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. It sounded like they made special accommodations for myself and some other shooters, by opening up the "tactical" range, since there were no members shooting at that time. That was awesome, because it got me on the range sooner. I also brought with me a new firearm - Canik Mete MC9LS with a new optic. I forgot my regular range bag with my tools; however, the range staff allowed me to use one of their tools to adjust my new optic. I don't know how the targets move on the regular range, but on the tactical range, you can push buttons to automatically set the targets at a specified distance, move the targets manually back and forth, and automatically have the target return. Best of all, the prices were very reasonable. $20 per lane and $0.50 targets - WAAAAAY better than prices in the Bay Area. If I were a resident of the area, I'd definitely become a member. (I overheard one of the staff members informing another customer of the benefits and price.). Top Notch outfit in my opinion.
