Zero accountability full of excuses and do the minimum amount necessary but charge nearly triple other companies. I'm posting this to warn people actively looking for any sort of home repairs etc until I can write a more thorough summary of my experience. They were cited for safety violations and unlawful activity related to my electrical job stemming from not grounding any of the electrical in the basement, which was exactly what I hired them for (among other things). Finally demanded an inspection after they left old wires in the attic and they've had to come Numerous times for missed areas and other oversights. Had to have them come back several times to correct shoddy and unsafe electrical work noted when I finally got an inspection. They took me for over $30,000 and even after all of this they won't refund me even though I completely have 0 confidence in their job and they've been cited by the division of professional licensing. Even the inspector was in disbelief with how much they took from me. They wanted me to sign a release agreeing I would not post reviews etc for a partial and small refund but I declined so I can protect others. They will charge you nearly $10000 for a $1000 furnace.

I remember when 10yrs ago this company (and the owner, Mr. James) were an honest, local family-owed brand. Things have clearly changed. Kyle promised my house would have adequate hvac but there are so many leaks in the runs that my attic is getting better heating and air-conditioning than my house. Causing massive ice dams on roof in the winter. Also not able to fully cool the house in summer. Had a big issue with lost refrigerant in condenser unit. Kyle told me it was over charged and took out more refrigerant causing even worse cooling issues. He Came back again and took more out. After the second time I consulted another company. It was so low that the compressor needed to be fully recharged and wasn't even running. I crawled up into the attic to feel a blast of cold air when the hvac system turned on. The same in the winter the attic is getting heated.

We called another company to do, what we thought would be a simple annual service on our HVAC…read moresystem and were shocked to have them recommend a complete replacement of both the heating and air conditioning system at what we thought was an exhorbitant price. Our neighbors had had great service from Fremont Heating & Air Conditioning and recommended we give them a call. John Fremont was able to come out the next day. Although he concurred with some of the problems the previous company saw, we felt he took a much less rash approach to the situation. We did end up replacing the heater (at a much lower cost) because the most expensive part needed replacing and the heater was over 15 years old. But the A/C only needed a $20 part replaced and it was good to go. The work was done quickly and professionally and we couldn't be happier. When that A/C does decide to give up the ghost, we'll be calling Fremon Heating & Air Conditioning to do the replacement job.
