Terrible Yogurt
Adriana M.

Very disappointing experience at Paradise Yogurt. The place felt dirty, the yogurt was not good, and the girl working there was not very helpful or friendly. Overall, the service and quality were poor. I will never go back.

Tasty yogurt, good variety of flavors and items offered. Smoothies, açaí, cookies, and hurricanes (like a blizzard or McFlurry) available in a cute shop. However, I had a disappointing customer service experience. I ordered yogurt chips in my hurricane. After a few bites, I did not notice any crunch, so I inquired with the staff whether any yogurt chips were added. The girl who made my hurricane agreed that she added them in, so I thought perhaps they were at the bottom. However, there were no yogurt chips in my dessert. I wish that this mistake had been remembered or recognized, especially after a follow up.

AÇAÍ BOWL (4 stars) - FOOD: good - PRICE: ok - SERVICE: quick - AMBIANCE: clutter-y Summer is here and the craving of açaí bowls are in the horizon. PARADISE ($13.95) - this açaí bowl is the second most popular. It has strawberries, bananas, blueberries, raspberries, and your choice of yogurts (strawberry or vanilla - went for vanilla).. I said yes to regular honey and oats. The bowl was of good size, the fruits were sweet and plentiful, and there were stacked layers/swirls of açaí and vanilla with a big bloop of açaí on top with drizzled honey and oats. There was a good amount. Of oats but I wish there was a tad bit more. The first few bites will be a on the sweeter side since the honey is only present at the top. Overall, very happy of the taste - it was everything I was looking for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Will be back to try shakes and ice cream. Until the next review....

I had a very disappointing experience here. This was my first time visiting, and will be my last. The service was extremely poor from start to finish. My Yogurt was almost entirely toppings with barely any actual yogurt, which was frustrating. When I asked for a refund, the staff was unable to assist me in any way. They couldn't provide a receipt, or process a refund. They were hesitant with any solution at all. Jenny, the supervisor, did top me with more yogurt which was nice but both she and another team member (who did not want to give me her name) were unprofessional, laughing and giggling during the interaction, which felt very disrespectful. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told (while they were still laughing) that the manager would be gone for a month. Overall, the customer service here was terrible, and I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

Delicious! I love the lower added sugar content in their acai bowls. While I realize that acai, frozen yogurt and fruit are going to be one big, happy carb bomb, the Paradise version keeps the added sugar lower than most others I've had. The fruit is fresh and sweet, and they do have dairy free options, which I'm thankful for. Today's server was cheerful and patient with my questions about their many options, and while the shop wasn't busy right when they opened, it was good to interact with someone who took the time to be friendly. Paradise has a positive vibe with reggae music playing and sunshiny colors. There are tables both inside and out so you can take your time to enjoy your treat. This is a great place to support an independent, family owned business.

12 oz. Medium Cup Yogurt...where's the rest of my yogurt?
Marie T.

Times must be rough or something because the medium I got today looks nothing like the medium in the other pictures I saw when looking through the pictures here on Yelp. The yogurt is good, but if this is the standard for their sizes now, it's extremely overpriced. I should've just went Handel's.

We had the most amazing time at Paradise yogurt! For one thing, the gals that we're working that night were just so kind and nice to us. They were patient and told us all about the different yogurts and toppings and everything else. we all enjoyed everything we got and the ambience was really cool cause they had like a lending library and I don't know. I just really liked it. The only thing that wasn't great were the cookies they were OK, but they just weren't as great as the rest of the experience, but because the experience was so phenomenal, I will still give this place of five stars and insist that you go check it out!

Mango and Plain Tart Yogurt
Gaby J.

Yikes! Not gonna lie, the service I got here was kinda rude. Or at least the cashier needs to adjust the tone of their voice and say ahead of time that there was a two sample maximum. Besides the mildly irritated cashier, the flavors at Paradise Yogurt were great! They have books for you to enjoy reading as well as vegan flavors. I also liked their tropical decorations. However, I don't think I'll come back (unless my in laws are in town) because I really don't want to go to an establishment where I'm not respected! I didn't mind that there was a two sample maximum but I wish she would have said that earlier instead of being passive aggressive & making it seem that I was going to take all the samples & leave. I also didn't like that their fruit wasn't very fresh. Their mango seemed like it was from a can and their strawberries tasted mushy. I also think that their plain yogurt tart had a strange musty after taste. I would only recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for vegan flavors that is not a sorbet. Parking: Plenty of parking close to CVS and Bevmo Price: $ Recommendations: Vegan yogurt and mango tart

Yummy yogurt and huge portions. We got a medium strawberry and tart swirl with mango for $8 and it was more than enough for two people! Very cute ambiance as well.

Alright, let's talk about Paradise Yogurt. The ambiance is pretty small, but I like their unique style. They have a small little library in there which I thought was pretty cool! Spoiler alert: the açaí bowl was solid, but the customer service? Absolute garbage. My wife went in to order while I hit Ralph's, and when I came back, she looked annoyed--turns out, one of the workers gave her serious attitude over a *2-sample limit* that's not posted anywhere! Like, excuse me? Another worker had already given her 4 samples, no problem, then out of nowhere, this other girl shows up like the sample police with a chip on her shoulder. If it's that serious, maybe put up a sign or, I don't know, don't act like a dictator about yogurt. When I walked in, not a single greeting. It's like I walked into a funeral, and I swear, the staff looked like they hated life. Pro tip for the worker who clearly can't stand her job: maybe don't take it out on customers? Be nice or, better yet, find a new job that doesn't make you miserable. It's yogurt, not rocket science. Management, please, for the love of yogurt, teach your staff how to act like they *want* people to be there. Great açaí, but I'm giving this place 1 star--until they weed out that rude employee and fix their service game. I get it everyone have bad days... but based on other comments it sounds consistent with these attitudes.

Still my go to place when I'm craving something sweet and special. Their cakes may be pricey, but…read morein my opinion, for the amount of work, effort, and quality of ingredients, I think they continue to be fair. For example, some other specialty bakeries/shops are charging similar prices for cakes and cheesecakes that are much simpler. In comparison, Extraordinary Dessert cakes take 3-4 days to make, have 6-8 alternating layers, and are typically adorned with edible gold and/or flowers. The key is to find which items you like and which are okay to pass on next time. What we ried this time: -Match Misu Cake (7/10): ricotta cake layers soaked in matcha and layered with marscapone whipped cream. This one was pretty good and ranks in my middle to high range. I only wish there was more matcha flavor (maybe if you dine in and get the sauce, this would help) or the matcha was paired with another flavor ... either go fruity (maybe a raspberry sauce, strawberry pieces, white peach pieces, or like a peach oolong cream layer) or go chocolately/coffee (maybe had some crushed up chocolate covered espresso beans). My go to's: -Ivoire Royale (10/10) - my ultimate favorite still. If you like light desserts, white chocolate, berries, and moist vanilla cake, thus one is for you. Classy and unpretentious -Shangrila (10/10) - my other favorite and will make you feel like a princess with all the pink chocolate curls. A little bit adventurous and innocently elegant. Ones to skip: -Au Chocolate / La Bete Noire / Dame Chocolate - get the Viking instead. That's my favorite of all their chocolate cakes -Lemon ricotta - get the Passionfruit Ricotta instead -Torta misu - the matcha misu is better. The tortilla misuse made me want a regular piece of tirmaisu than a cake version -Coconut cream - not bad, not amazing though

She was at the register at 7:20pm and was extremely rude and dismissive after we placed our order, especially regarding a child's dietary restrictions and health concerns. We politely asked if it would be possible to purchase a small cup of fruit , even just a couple strawberries cut up, because one child in our group cannot have sweets due to very strict dietary restrictions . Instead of simply saying they were unable to accommodate the request or offering another option, we were told to "go somewhere else," despite already spending the amount we did . The complete lack of professionalism and basic customer service was honestly shocking. It's disappointing to be treated that way at a place we have supported so consistently. This place has been going downhill , management for this place needs to step up .

One would think that, in such dark times, one could still find even a glimpse of hope in an ice cream cone. I was proven wrong, and my outlook on the current state of affairs only dimmed further. I ate my ice cream in two bites. Twenty dollars for two cones, four bites total. I didn't even bother feeding my son the pup cup. He deserves better. The world deserves better. Bigger portions. That interaction really put a damper on things, but we eventually ordered a few scoops and a few cookies. Thought the cookies were spot on again (warm from the oven). The ice cream temperature wasn't quite right - a bit on the melted/soft side. Not quite what we were hoping for this time around.
