Today, I called him at 10a and told him we had a 1p tee time and he was ready to say 'yes' after he cleared the deck of the 'honey do list'. The traffic was thick North on I-77 from Fort Mill but no grid lock so we made it in 20minutes and still had time to hit a bucket of balls. Jay is 'still' there, he's a fixture at this place and has been for at least the last 6 years since I retired and started playing there. They are no longer under Radcliffe Management but under Troon. Their 'on-line' booking website is excellent. IF you're playing solo, you're REQUIRED to call and book. We made the 9 hole round in 1 hr, 45 minutes and it was busy. We had a slow three some walking in front of us. It's hard to beat the price on this muni when you can get a Senior AND Vet discount and play for less than $30 bucks. Fulwider was pleased with the experience except on hole #9, the finishing par 5, he swears a blacksnake ate his ball. Always a nice change of pace but at prime time, Friday to Sun you will be challenged to get a time time and pace of play.

It was very good and different didn't seem like anything special with the rice though no ginger flavor just plain rice. I would definitely get it again the flavor profile mix was great! Now the put-put golf was amazing! I loved how they had drink stand at every station so you could sit your drinks down while golfing. The bars inside the courses were closed so you had to get your drink from the main bar before starting. I love how you checked in at station one and it kept tally of points for you. So once you put in how many times it took you to the ball in the hole it records it and you log it at eat station. I love the decorations! Both courses laboratory and conservatory had a different theme and it was very dope. I like how all of this was put inside of the building, almost gave like a museum feel; very fun, welcoming, and entertaining. I also like the two interactive station which the courses first you got to take a picture and second you got to take a boomerang and you got to send it right to you phone for memories! I can't wait to go back here! Great for date nights, night out, or family days as well! 10/10 highly recommended!

Walking to play, the floors were sticky from drink spills. In theory, having bars on the courses is a great idea, but in practice it slows everything down. If the group ahead of you doesn't enter their score, the game stalls unless someone from the next group inputs it or a staff member comes over. We had to figure that out on our own. On my previous visits the staff explained how the scoring worked, but that didn't happen this time. Three groups ahead of mine didn't know how to enter their scores or forgot, so they just stopped playing. I also think the reservations could be spaced out better. Groups ended up stacked on top of each other waiting for the same hole. Thankfully, everyone was still pleasant about it. I'd definitely go back, but I hope they make a few operational improvements.

The tee boxes are in terrible shape, you hit off matts which are in really poor shape. The grass is in the fairway is so high, it hides the water you'll have to slosh through to get to the green You pay $14 bucks to play 18 holes on a par 3. There are no electric carts but they will rent you a pull cart of a buck. The staff is nice and friendly and there is plenty of free parking.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, walking us through how the games work and making sure we were set up. The atmosphere is awesome too--great music, lively vibe, and perfect for hanging out whether you're competitive or just there for fun. The games themselves are addicting (in the best way ). I loved how it tracks your shots automatically, so you don't need to be good at golf to enjoy it. Plus, the food and drinks were surprisingly good--definitely more than just typical "sports venue" snacks. Overall, it's such a fun spot for groups, date nights, or even just trying something new. The clubhouse and range where nice, but it was not until I rolled some putts on the putting green that my hopes started to rise. They had bent grass that was smooth and blazing fast. The staff were all great. Very friendly and everything you'd hope for at any level course. The course is fantastic. I'd say it has about 3 semi weak holes and even those were fun to play. The overall condition was excellent. The green were amazingly good. The sand in some of the green side bunkers were just ok, but in every other respect this track was so enjoyable to play. The views were stunning. My only regret was my choice of tees. I'm a low handicap senior. I chose the blue tees, which would have been fine with summer roll, but the course proved a bit too tough for me given the softer fall / winter conditions. Don't make my stupid mistake. I can't wait to return to this terrific golf course.

From the time I pulled my vehicle into the 'bag drop', I knew I was in for something out of the…read moreordinary. A young man immediately picked up my clubs and put them on a cart and instructed me to the ProShop. There I met Jacob who got me checked in and I was smiling with the news that my Monday round of 18 holes and a cart would only be $55 bucks, what a great value! I made my way to the driving range to hit some complimentary balls and also test out the putting/chipping green. My group of 4, was able to tee off right at 1140a with an assist from Mike T, the Starter. I will say, this is a very challenging course. There is a lot of changing elevation throughout and a fair amount of water that comes into play on a majority of holes. There is a creek that criss crosses throughout and some small ponds as well. You'll find the fairways wide open, however you'll be challenged for ball placement as the majority of fairways will funnel to the creek or water. The greens are very fast, they are undulating and generally small for the most part. The views are amazing! It's built in a development with Million dollar homes that line the fairway and circle around the green complexes. There are adequate water stations scattered throughout and there is bathroom at about hole #8 where they have cold face towels in water that will refresh you. I didn't try the food but I did check out the menu and it looked like a good mix of hot and cold options. Even on a Monday it was very busy and our round of 18 holes took about 4.5 hours. It was tough with 93 degree temps and 60% humidity. Just a few nits that were not major but a bit disappointing. Even though they had a food/beverage cart parked by the Club House, there was no one to operate it. In several areas, you will be confused on where to go for the next tee box because there is no directional sign. The carts were all gas, not a single electric cart and they struggled getting up the steep hills. The pace of play was longer than expected, not a big deal when the weather is great but when it's 90+ degrees and humid, you will suffer as there is no Ranger to keep things moving. This is a semi-private club and only members are allowed to play Friday to Sunday. Overall it was a five star experience, sadly it's quite a drive from where I live in Fort Mill but I was glad to check this one off my most of the B-Man's top 10 CLT area courses.
