    18th hole

A childhood favorite of mine. The greens here may not be pristine 24/7 365, the staff here is polite and kind, and the holes offer a unique challenge. A great place to practice with a pitch and putt bag, have a beer or two with friends, or even enjoy the mini golf course.

Island green. Seems fun, but if you miss by a few feet, it's rolling all the way to a watery grave.

DO NOT COME HERE AS A NEW GOLFER. You will spend $40+ on balls. It's fun when you're playing well, but there is literally a 0% chance of coming home with the sleeve you started with. Not only are there island greens that are bumpy and faster than a coked up cheetah when they're dry, the place is next to a river and has a half dozen water features. All the water is bordered by steep edges, so if your ball is close, it's going to the bottom of the pond. On top of that, because it rains all year long in Charlotte, you have a 1 in 3 chance that the grass is growing straight out of a few inches of sticky mud. It's okay, you're playing off mats, right? WRONG. There are two kinds of mats: hard and water-logged. There is no in-between. I've had fun here, but the place is in severe disrepair and seems perpetually in non-ideal condition. It will make you hate the game. Finally, and this is nit-picky, but for a place that borders an apartment complex full of dogs walking on the cart paths for the golf course, they told me that they are NOT dog friendly and will check paperwork for "service" animals. This would be a place I try out so much more frequently if I was allowed to walk my dog while playing. Basically, if you think this is a fun, west-coast-style par 3 course, you're wrong. It's a cheap, tormenting, super-short 18-holer in constant disrepair. It makes me want to start my own and create a really fun place to learn short game, rather than a place to dunk sleeves of balls in the water. If you are a master of 60-90 yard shots, you may enjoy hitting the greens, but not putting on them.

You can play 18 holes on this par 3 for $15 bucks, it's $1 extra to rent a cart. The course is short and a lot of water. You play off of mats for a tee, there is no natural grass tee box option. The fairways and greens are in good shape considering the intense heat. The back nine runs along a deep ravine and a creek below so you'll be challenged by water on the front nine and by the creek on the back nine. Overall it's a fun course, reasonably priced and challenging. Plenty of free parking and there is also a putt-putt course on site. No Vet & or Senior discount.

Fore! Don't duck and dive, watch your step more rather! There's goose poop everywhere! The greens might be messy, and you might tee off a mat, but dang this is a fun course. Yes all of the holes are par 3 and an average of 80 yards, but with a course this tight and with so many water hazards; your short game is surely tested. You know hole 17 at TPC Sawgrass, yep it's like that. A few of these holes are island greens and really test your skill. If you're looking for a good time, a course to test your short game, Paradise Valley is will surely fit the bill. A well worthwhile course I say. Just watch your step and wipe your ball!

One of the water holes. The island is a tough hole.

First Timer. Great Par 3 Course for beginners. The greens are fast. And there's plenty of water. But it's a solid course for a beginner.

Today, I called him at 10a and told him we had a 1p tee time and he was ready to say 'yes' after he cleared the deck of the 'honey do list'. The traffic was thick North on I-77 from Fort Mill but no grid lock so we made it in 20minutes and still had time to hit a bucket of balls. Jay is 'still' there, he's a fixture at this place and has been for at least the last 6 years since I retired and started playing there. They are no longer under Radcliffe Management but under Troon. Their 'on-line' booking website is excellent. IF you're playing solo, you're REQUIRED to call and book. We made the 9 hole round in 1 hr, 45 minutes and it was busy. We had a slow three some walking in front of us. It's hard to beat the price on this muni when you can get a Senior AND Vet discount and play for less than $30 bucks. Fulwider was pleased with the experience except on hole #9, the finishing par 5, he swears a blacksnake ate his ball. Always a nice change of pace but at prime time, Friday to Sun you will be challenged to get a time time and pace of play.

Staff wasn't the most welcoming, but that was fine. Greens were in average condition, bunkers were in pretty poor condition, but given the price, that was expected. We did like how the ladies tees got quite a few yards on the men's.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, walking us through how the games work and making sure we were set up. The atmosphere is awesome too--great music, lively vibe, and perfect for hanging out whether you're competitive or just there for fun. The games themselves are addicting (in the best way ). I loved how it tracks your shots automatically, so you don't need to be good at golf to enjoy it. Plus, the food and drinks were surprisingly good--definitely more than just typical "sports venue" snacks. Overall, it's such a fun spot for groups, date nights, or even just trying something new. I'll definitely be going back! Highly recommend if you're in Charlotte and looking for something different to do!

Well, when a friend invited me to join him for a round (or an hour), I finally got the opportunity to find out! I'd say that it was about what I expected it to be, but that it was still a lot of fun. As somebody who's an occasional golfer, I'd describe Topgolf as kind of a tricked-out driving range. They have nets with different colors that you're supposed to aim the ball at, depending on which game that you're playing. Speaking of the games, they had a large variety, such as a simulated version of Pebble Beach, as well as a Sonic the Hedgehog game, ensuring that you'll find one you like no matter what age you are. Finally, the staff was very friendly, and I really appreciated the customer service. Every staff member I interacted with, from the manager to our waitress to the bartender, was extremely outgoing and courteous, so I can tell that they put a nice emphasis on customer service. As for the food and drink, I did like that they had a nice selection of some local craft beers, but the food was a little overpriced for what you were paying for. All-in-all, I really enjoyed my visit to Topgolf, and even though I don't really see myself becoming a regular, I can see myself coming back once every few months to get a round in!

I already knew its reputation and had read countless reviews, and after a few months as a member, I couldn't be happier with my decision. The course is immaculate, and I can't wait to see it in full color this spring. I've already attended several club events, all of which have been a lot of fun. The staff is consistently friendly and professional, and the pro shop is well stocked with a great selection of logo apparel, clubs, and accessories. Mike Zhiss has been fantastic in answering membership questions, and I've had three lessons so far with Jim Lusk, the Head Professional, with plans to continue working with him weekly for the foreseeable future. Scott, the General Manager, has also done an excellent job making my wife and family feel welcome. Guilties Bistro deserves special recognition. Whether you're just looking to enjoy a cocktail after a round of golf or sit down for a full dining experience, Guilties delivers. The food is phenomenal, the presentation is excellent, and the service is outstanding. The daily food specials offer a wide variety and are consistently creative, fresh, and well executed--this is a place you genuinely look forward to visiting, not just a convenient clubhouse option. If you're looking for a family-friendly club with a top-tier course and a welcoming atmosphere, Verdict Ridge should absolutely be on your list to tour. Give Mike a call.
