Oh and if you call to make an appointment you will be connected to "Sophie" at first, just to warn you, she is AI and gets stuff wrong, best thing you can do is ask her if she's AI, she will tell you she is, and then you can ask for a human being, worked for me. Was confused because took my name and booked an appointment, but didn't get my address. 2 hour window for the appointment and was able to get a time less than 48 hours. Received a confirmation email and had my address which was wild. Fast forward to Monday and they arrived 25 minutes before their scheduled time. They sent a text that they would be arriving in 30 minutes and then they were there. Usually would be happy for a plumber to arrive early, but wife had a work call and I was driving home from work to meet him. He was ringing the doorbell a bunch which annoyed my wife, but life happens. Joel was very nice and said we needed to call CPL to locate where exactly the leak is. He gave me the wrong number for CPL even though I read the number back to him. True Plumbing didn't have any appointments the next day, but Joel found a way to squeeze me in to take a look after CPL completed their inspection. Sent two estimates which I had questions about. I talked to Joel on the phone and he answered them all. I really like that he was able to do cement work which some places wouldn't do. The communication across the board really stood out to me and I know their prices are better than most because I had quite a few estimates.

He was also very impressive when listening to him explain what our system could look like and what our options would be. At that time, we were already having an ADU built in our backyard, and when the contractor found out we wanted a new tankless heater and water filter installed on our main house, he offered us a discount and installed a tankless heater. It ended up being a big mistake as they did a very sloppy job. Fast forward to this past September 2025, and my wife put out a Yelp request to get a water filtration system installed. She did not know that Pure Plumbing had come out previously, but I recognized Bryan's name when my wife told me he would be coming to the house. He walked my wife through everything while I was at work, and she was impressed by him too. He even pointed out where our contractor's plumber had made a major mistake with our tankless heater. We ended up having Pure Plumbing install the water filtration system, the price was great, and they did a fabulous job. She walked me through their (very intuitive) website and explained the process for me. After agreeing to have a technician visit my home to assess the situation and provide a more accurate estimate, I waited for the next day. My appt was set for 1400 hrs but Erick contacted me asking if I could accommodate his visit earlier, which I welcomed with gusto. By 10AM he was taking a look at my dead appliance. Erick took a look and the mystery of the broken 1-yr-old water heater was resolved. My pressure modulator was dead, so the 150PSI streaming through my house killed the water heater. Was doing the sales tactics where they talk with their "manager" and come in out of the unit to tire me. He was there for an over hour doing this back and forth while I was remotely working. They had quoted me $28k-$30k, while other estimates from companies came in at $11k-$14k. Using high pressure sales on me saying that they would discount if I hired them for the next day. I told them I would speak with my father, and they insisted they'd give me a moment to call him on the spot. The part I regret as well is that I was stupidly convinced to pay $200+ to do a air diagnostics report that I am not allowed to have because they don't want me to shop around. I had other people who came in who were able to look at the ducts for a couple of minutes and tell me right away what was going on. I had to call multiple times after to see if I can get any type of report from their findings. I'm no stranger to sales tactics as a women when going to trades, but I'd be very weary using this company as it does seem they are on commission, have high prices, and use pressure sales.
