As a true burger lover, I can honestly say this was one of the BEST beach burgers I've ever had in my life. The burger was huge and loaded with thick onions, big slices of tomato, fresh lettuce, and the bun was perfectly toasted. The meat was seasoned so well and full of flavor and adding bacon made it even better. Every bite was amazing. It came with fries, and while they tasted more like frozen bag fries than fresh-cut fries, they were still good and honestly didn't take away from how incredible the burger was. I also got a bottle of water and a rum and Coke, which made the whole beach meal experience perfect. Another thing I loved was the seating area. They have plenty of nice wooden picnic tables with umbrellas, so there's a lot of shady seating to relax and enjoy your food comfortably by the beach. The vibe was honestly amazing. 10/10 recommend eating here if you're by the beach. I would absolutely keep coming back. Had spent the morning at Pass-a-Grille Beach, and needed a place for lunch that would take a person covered in suntan lotion, sand, and sweat. You can walk right up to the counter and place your order. They give you a beeper to let you know when it is ready. I ordered a simple grilled cheese sandwich, fries, and a strawberry smoothie. The smoothie was ice cold and delicious, perfect for super hot beach day. The grilled cheese was simply perfection! Crispy, with just that slight salty bite to it, I wish I could go back more often! The fries were delicious as well. Lots of seating to pick from, and quite a few areas that had umbrellas or shade. Attached to the restaurant are changing rooms, as well as bathrooms, which was very convenient. Would highly recommend! read more

This spot is right on the beach and looks out to the water, so it's beautiful. It's picnic table style, order at the bar and wait for your food. We had cheeseburgers that were very good, and I'm picky about my burgers. Service is a little slow but they're busy and small, so come patient! I would say the customer service is lacking - don't expect warmth, however, I watched them have to deal with a lot of rude snow birds so I empathize. read more

Their breakfast sandwich (scrambled eggs, sausage patty, cheese, on a toasted English muffin) is the best breakfast sandwich on the planet. This is true for both locations, St. Pete Beach and Pass-a-Grille. The two locations are a different beach experience. St. Pete Beach is the classic, wide, white sand beach with the cafe set in the dunes; Pass-a-Grille is a short beach which puts you very near the sound and energy of the surf. What's not to love?! A sweet little hot-dog joint on the beach. Quick service, good food, great scenery. Highly recommended! This is for the St Pete Beach location (as opposed to the Passe-a-grill location). They had been the only one open for a while after this season's hurricanes. I had only been to the other location, but we were craving a hot dog and wanted to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful fresh air so we came here! My 84 year old dad was in from out of town and this is the perfect (and easy) place for him to get to without having to trudge through sand and ensure he doesn't fall. How nice it was to be able to enjoy some time together in the sun and fresh air and see the beach but not have to deal with sand and craziness. You're obviously gonna page a few bucks more for simple things, but it's worth it for ambiance. Personally, I think their food is great! Love their fries. The folks who work here are always nice. There's a sweet older gentleman who always visits and talks to everyone, lol, he's really cute. There's paid street parking out front, which on certain days can be difficult to get. And just in case you wind up walking out into the sand, there's outdoor showers to rinse your feet off. Love this place and will be back more often than I probably should . ENJOY read more

We come to St. Pete at least once a year and every time we go to the other Paradise Grill multiple times. Because of the hurricanes it is closed so we decided to try this location and it did not disappoint! It is on the beach and has a great atmosphere. We wanted a nice lunch on the beach with our dogs. This place was great! It was a weekday noon meal. We had to pay to park a block away. We claimed a picnic table for our group of four. Found this place by accident walking around Pass a Grille beach area and saw an olen table outside. All their seating is outdoor as this is a beachfront cafe. We ordered a pound of peel and eat shrimp that was perfectly blacked and grilled, a half pound hamburger, and drinks. My wife was thrilled with the strawberry daiquiri and I just had a can of coconut water. We were thrilled with the service, food, and location. Super casual spot for B, L, D directly on the Gulf. It is like a shack, but the service, food, drinks and prices are all great. Most alcoholic drinks including frozen are under $8 and they are a full solo cup serving with a decent pour. Everything is served in to go containers as far as food is concerned with plastic silverware, but you were at the beach and eating at picnic tables, so it kind of goes hand-in-hand. They have decent food prices along with abundant servings. Great place for sunset. Most nights they have live music. Parking is metered, but no time limits. Plenty of chairs and picnic tables. Cole slaw is creamy! Fried shrimp are battered with good seasoning. Fries have a coating, not my fave but they cook them well. Worth a visit. Good for families or couples. Enjoy! read more

Super friendly staff and the food is really good. We were renting a condo just behind the grill and ate here a few times. Prices are good and the ability to sit right at the beach is great. They are either passing some low-grade fish off as grouper or they are using fish that has been thawed and frozen multiple times either way it was slimy and gross. I couldn't even begin to eat it. This is basically a snack shack, but that's part of the appeal...it's very easy and casual. Occasionally a line will form at the register/window, but they move through it quickly. Went over to where the young man was making my drinks. He was halfway through making them when a woman walked up to imorder drinks and told the girl "I'll wait for him" indicating the young man. I kid you not, he heard her and I assume knew her, he stopped making my drinks and walked over to take her order. I thought "ok, he'll get the order but finish my order. Nope.. he started filling several cups with ice while chatting her up. I asked " hey? What's the status of my margarita?" He blew me off "I'll get to it"... what?! No!. Good food and nice outdoor place to get refreshments right on the beach. However, parking nearby is sometimes hard to find and always way overpriced and super expensive. The parking lot floods when it's raining. This place can get busy, so plan to stand in the direct sun in line for a while here sometimes... wear shoes, because the Trex on the patio gets painfully hot on feet. read more

My wife and I shared a side of pancakes which were crip on the outside with a perfect interior. I had a cheddar and ham omelette. The ham was cubed from a grilled nice sized ham steak. Came here for a beach day and was pleasantly surprised to find this beach shack with very reasonable prices RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Of course it's a shack so seating is outdoor on wooden benches, but if you came for a beach day like us, we just set up our little spot and brought our lunch over to eat Oceanside. We ordered the: - Blackened Grouper platter, comes with tartar sauce, coleslaw, and fries. I got an additional side of buns to eat half of it like sandwich. It tasted fresh and delicious and was pretty filling! $20 - Buffalo Butterfly Shrimp, also tasted fresh and was breaded perfectly buffalo sauce on top. We asked for an order of ranch to accompany this. Best decision ever! - Grilled Chicken Salad. My partner ordered this and he really liked it. He was pretty full after eating this that he barely could help finish the shrimp and grouper. Don't forget to grab yourself a fork! There was only one guy taking orders, hopping on the grill AND bar tending, but he was quick.
