On my most recent trip here I ended up getting their two egg breakfast with meat, potatoes and toast. The over medium eggs were cooked just right, i.e. not runny, with nice homestyle potatoes, thick cut bacon and their own homemade bread for toast. All at a very reasonable cost of $10, especially when considering the quality of the food. The coffee is also quite good where I believe it is a full bodied medium roast with a nice balance and no harsh notes. Relative to staff, this continues to be a strength of this business as they are quite friendly, with great follow up, where many of them have been here for years which I personally like which also speaks volumes on how well the ownership treats their employee's. Happy workers make for very good and nice wait staff! Overall a solid choice for Breakfast or lunch, especially if you are looking for a more upscale menu with daily specials.

I understand employees may be busy, so that wasn't my concern. What bothered me was the customer service that followed. I asked for a small Berries Delight and pointed to the individual desserts on the left. Instead, the young man assisting me went to the cakes on the right and attempted to hand me a small cake. I politely stopped him and explained that I wanted the personal-sized Berries Delight on the left. He responded by saying, "Those are called slices," in a tone that came across as rude and condescending. I then asked if I could have a fresh one from the refrigerator because the one in the display case looked like it had been sitting there for a while. He insisted the display one was fine, but I repeated that I would prefer one from the refrigerator. He reluctantly got one and handed it to me, saying, "There's your fresh Berries Delight," in a sarcastic tone. I visit Sweet Dreams regularly--between this location and the previous one, I stop in about four times a month. I've always enjoyed your desserts, which is why this experience was so surprising. I've never been treated this way before. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because the quality of customer service should match the quality of your products.

It's off-season and I needed a raspberry tart to use for flavor cues for a client's launch of their new Raspberry Tart Wafer protein bar flavor. Due to a food allergy I didn't want to style the tart myself. I contacted a number of local bakeries as well as Plum Market, Whole Foods, Zingermans and more. None could accommodate my specific request. Finally, I came across sweet dreams and they were able to make me a beautiful raspberry tart to use for my images, based on the appearance, I wanted and in a timely manner. The location and store seem very nice too. And the pastry itself turned out great! Check out the images to see how pretty it was and how perfectly it worked. They have a fantastic selection of coffee and sweets, so you're spoiled for choice. That said, the one downside is the pricing. Everything is a bit on the expensive side, especially since each extra like a pump or a flavor is an additional cost. So, for just two cappuccinos and one pastry, I was paying around $20+. Still, it's a nice spot if you're okay with the splurge

Ambiance is nothing to speak of, very old building and decor is out dated and tired but seemed clean which is the important part. 6 donuts were about $15-so not cheap but I will say the glazed donut was the most soft pillowy donut I have ever eaten!! We also split an apple fritter which was good. It did not really have much apple flavor, but was still tasty. The nice thing about these donuts was that they did not have a ton of grease which sometimes donuts can and the oil was fresh and did not have that old oil flavor. We went around noon so selection of donuts were limited so you will want to try and get there earlier. This place is definitely worth a try!
