For $15 for lunch it's a steal. Is it high end, no. Closer to a low end Souplantation (god I miss you!) but there's definitely something for everyone and with the right expectations you'll leave satisfied. Desserts and Mongolian Grill were the highlights.

Food is disgusting and cold, I would say the only good thing was the pizza lol and that tasted gross, the food is just sitting in warmers it crusts over

I was so happy when I found this buffet restaurant. After the pandemic there's not many buffets out here in San Diego. This has been my go to for the past year since I discovered it. The food is good, lots of variety, I really like their wok station it's my favorite! The price is great. Seniors get discounts, my parents are regulars there. They also provide you with a card to stamp your visits and you get a free visit to the buffet after your 10th purchase. Who does that! They're great! You gotta try this place.

Continuing our quest for buffet places in San Diego, we stopped by Paradise Buffet for dinner. Taking the good and bad, I felt our experience was average at best. The pros: - lots of different foos options: sushi, hot Asian foods, hot American foods, make your own stir fry noodles, a variety of desserts, soups, salads, and even a kid section with mac and cheese, pizza, corn, and garlic bread. - plenty of seats and we got seated immediately upon arrival at 7pm - food was being replenished throughout our visit - reasonable price for a buffet at $20 per person for dinner The cons: - the ambiance is depressing. It's dark and dim inside. - lack of customer service. Nobody greets you, workers do not engage when taking your plates away, and when you ask questions it seems like you're bothering them - the food was bland and uninspiring. It's edible but not something you would crave or go for another round - it's located in a very large and busy complex so keep in mind there's traffic coming in - soda machine lacked enough carbonation so the drinks were flat Not sure about this place yet. May need to try it again...

Affordable and family friendly Asian buffet for the whole family. In this economy, what more can you ask for? First off the food is okay. It's not the best but it does the trick to feed something for everyone. The reason for the good review is the hot and fresh Mongolian grill and sushi bar! Don't forget to tip them! The prices are already so low! Not to mention the fresh cotton candy for the kids. What else can you eat here? Sushi, desserts, and hot Asian food. Self serve food and drinks (extra price) ready for you and your family. Tip: Early bird special for seniors daily. See pricing

Bunk food don't come here save your money

food was trash. Fried rice undercooked still grainy Noodle super salty. Shrimp raw. I'm not being dramatic I ate a lil of everything and honestly won't be coming here again. Came because they had good reviews lol whoever eats here must not like great food. Don't come here save your money !!!!

Aloha gang! Thought it was time to revisit Pan Asia Buffet. I was coming back from a Sunday…read moreafternoon at the casino in Temecula and was in the mood for an all you can eat buffet. When I arrived, the restaurant was packed. I had to check in and take a number, but they managed to seat us in under 10 minutes. If you're not into crowds, I would definitely avoid Sunday's. My usual visits are during the weekdays when they open first thing for lunch. You get first pick of the buffet offerings and it's much more enjoyable without the crowd. My faves are the Chow Mein, Teriyaki Beef, Fried Rice and Honey Walnut Shrimp. So....if you have a craving for AYCE buffet, check it out!

I was really excited to try out our second buffet near Oceanside since we moved here a few months…read moreback. Unfortunately it wasn't a place I will be going back to. The place smells decent, decently easy to find so no issues there. Cleanliness: the Buffett definitely needs some upgrading and cleaning. The rug smells and feels sticky to walk on, the counter area was clean but the ice cream section needed a deep clean, the cones were out of the packing and stale. The sprinkles were covered in ice cream and all over the place. The machine was covered in dried ice cream and caked on. I did not go into the restrooms, so I am not sure Food: cold. Everything except for the hibachi I got was cold. Shrimp, pork, chicken, all cold. They have an okay variety of deserts but other than the coffee and orange ones they were pretty bad. The flavor of the food was good, but the temperature of it was what really grossed me out and worry about food poisoning. It was during dinner at around 4pm so crab legs were included. My daughter devoured them and so did I. Best part of the buffet. Customer service: the waiters were very nice and kept our table clear. As soon as they notice we had our empty plates they would come around and grab them. I did notice and maybe it was just for that moment but we did get different waiters just grabbing our plates. Maybe they are doing a system where everyone waits on every table. Whatever they were doing it worked! We did mention at the end that our food was cold after we had paid and all because we were asked how we liked it. She did apologize and told us we should have brought up sooner so they could warm it up. That since it was slow the food gets cold. It was nice she apologized and all, but working in the food industry myself it is not any of the customers job to remind you to keep an eye on food temps. And you're supposed to keep food hot. Regardless they were nice. Would I come back? No. Would I recommend it? No. $60 for two adults $9 for my 4 yr old and $5 for my two yr old. So basically $80 for a family of 4 for cold food. Flavor was good though. So if you want to try it maybe you're lucky and get hot foods

HOM MALI BY THE NOOD BAR... update on update (4 stars)…read more Send me the noodz! The new-new nood bar called Hom Mali. - FOOD: delicious - PRICE: fair (their website shows outdated and cheaper prices) - SERVICE: good - AMBIANCE: nice updated esthetics It's been awhile since I've ate here and the last time I did it was just The Nood Bar now known as Hom Mali but still shows as The Nood Bar. They updated their decor and like it much better with its refreshing white and green interior giving south-east Asian vibes. The menu has quite a lot of good offerings it was hard to decide but feel not matter what you order here it's going to be delicious and authentic. They did keep several items from The Nood Bar! :: ORDER :: RED GUAVA ICE TEA ($5.95) - Oh my goodness, so yummy and refreshing. I'd say the caffeine level is very light on this one and I am ok with that. After stuffing my face I took a nice nap for someone who is caffeine sensitive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND GARLIC BUTTER NOODLES {$20.95) - Grilled lemongrass-marinated pork shoulder served over steamed soba noodles tossed with soy sauce, fried garlic, garlic oil, and butter alongside steamed botchy, finished with cilantro and a side of plum sauce. THIS WAS SO FLAVORFUL and yummy. I don't often eat garlic butter noodles so any garlic butter noodle is delicious to me. I did NOT see any fried garlic in my meal and felt it was only garlic oil that was present with the garlic profiles. The noodles were very garlic-y and butter-y. The pork shoulder was also perfectly marinated and dipping it in the plum sauce which was a mix of sweet and tangy paired well with the marination of the meat and butter-ness of the noods. It also came with ONE bakchoy sliced in half to appear as two. And I wish they some how incorporated the cilantro and carrots more into the dish instead of garnish to give some more herbal flavor. Even though, this dish was spot on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Service was great! Did feel awkward when they handed me the machine to tap my card and leave a tip... they stood there watching you press the buttons. No being discreet picking up plates or looking away... just looking right at you. I know it's a thing with many restaurants now but it's awkward and don't feel like I have privacy. I will def be back! So many yummy dishes on the menu to try. Until the next slurp....

When I say our table loved everything we ordered that is not over statement. We didn't have a reservation but they were nice enough to get our party of 9 seated. We just had to agree to be done before a reservation they had coming in an hour later. We didn't get rushed but we did enjoy. Maybe because they needed us gone at a certain time, the service was great. Super attentive. Very accommodating on any order questions and alterations. The food top to bottom was great. Flavors were on point. Suggestions were spot on. Chins delivered on so many levels. We started with egg rolls and crispy cream cheese wontons. I loved the amount of veggies in the egg rolls. I didn't have the wontons but the table loved them. We ordered family style and as a table that large they delivered enough food to feed an army. Since we were in the area, we decided to stop in for dinner on a weekday. We arrived around 5:30 p.m. without a reservation. The restaurant was already about half full, but we were still able to grab one of the last few available tables. To start, we ordered the potstickers and wonton soup. For our entrées, we had the chicken with Szechuan string beans and the Imperial Double Happiness. The appetizers came out almost immediately, which surprised me because our server had mentioned that the potstickers would take a little longer. They also weren't very hot when they arrived. The dumplings themselves were huge, but I didn't realize they were filled with almost entirely plain ground pork. I usually expect potstickers to have green onions or chives mixed in, along with garlic, onion, and a bit more seasoning. These tasted like a large ball of pork wrapped in dough, which just wasn't for me. I ate one and was done. The wonton soup was another miss for me, although that was partly my own fault for not reading the description more carefully. I was originally going to order the Imperial Soup or Egg Flower Soup, but our server recommended the wonton soup because it's one of their most popular dishes. I assumed it would be a simple clear broth with wontons and green onions, but instead it was a much heartier soup filled with lots of ingredients and strips of wonton skin rather than actual wontons. If you enjoy a filling, hearty soup, you'll probably like it--it just wasn't what I was expecting. The entrées, however, were much better. The chicken with Szechuan string beans was well seasoned without being overly salty or covered in heavy sauce. Our favorite was the Imperial Double Happiness. The light garlic white sauce was flavorful without being overpowering, and it came with plenty of broccoli, lots of shrimp, and some scallops. I would definitely order both of these dishes again. The portions are enormous. We ended up taking most of our food home, and each entrée easily provides enough leftovers for two or three more meals. This would be a great restaurant to visit with a larger group so you can share several dishes. The only thing that really bothered us was the service while we were waiting for our entrées. Before our main dishes even arrived, our server asked if we wanted to box up the soup and potstickers. I told her we'd wait until we finished eating, but she came back and asked the same question three different times. I've never experienced that before. The only time it would make sense is if the table was too small and they needed to make room for the remaining dishes, but we had a large table for just the two of us. It felt a bit rushed, almost as if they wanted us to pack up, pay, and free the table. Overall, I'd give this experience 3.5 stars. I think the food is a bit hit or miss, but the entrées we enjoyed were very good, and I'd be willing to stop by again if I'm in the area.
