Amanda replaced it with a new unit, but we continued to have issue. I would send her video of the malfunction, and she would continually say there is nothing wrong. The machine was only producing a small amount of water at a time continually running and erroring out. She told me I needed to replace the filters after only 2 months. She said our water must have heavy toxins or??? In it so I looked up the quality of water in our area bought a test kit and tested our water. It was normal. I sent her the results to let her know it is not the water..... I asked for a refund and was told I could send the machine back they would service it and send it back to me ALL at my expense as the 30-day warrantee was expired. I asked for a refund. After many texts back and forth, her response was, I will no longer communicate with you, you are disrupting my healing.... I ended up purchasing filters for another $150. Which did not fix the issues. I have filed a complaint with the BBB with no response. We have nursed the machine along, but it finally totally died 3 months short of a year. I am very disappointed to say the least in the quality of the product, but mostly the unprofessionalism displayed by Amanda. I would never recommend this product, nor would I work with Amanda ever again. I will avoid her like the plague. Not only did she sell us a faulty unit that she wouldn't honor after 2 months, but she disrupted my well-being and our finances. We may have last the money, but she will have to live with her dishonesty. Steer clear people...

He told me it would take 4-6 weeks and he stopped showing up to the job site. He sent kids who were previously water delivery men with no construction background and asked this kid to hang cabinets and remodel the house that I paid Lucas to perform. He stopped working all together. I gutted the house and left him a blank canvas. He was hired to texture the walls, hang cabinets, install flooring and carpet, install doors, windows, paint, trim work, etc. He hasn't finished one full item on his scope of work and all of the items he has done will have to be completely redone by another contractor because it has been done incorrectly. He happily accepted my money (nearly in full) and walked away leaving the project a complete mess.

I finally had to tell Lowes I did not want to deal with Lucas anymore and to get me another contractor which they did and they completed the job. I would not recommend K 5 for any remodeling work.

He was able to discuss the job details with the staff that we had worked with but he wanted to contact me and discuss them. I was really surprised to get a phone call. He was really nice and apologized for the poor experience. He informed me of a few things that I thought I would share with other yelp readers: 1. One reason the installation is more expensive than some of the other local businesses is that they offer warranty on the carpet. which was stated at the time of purchase and while we were looking at other installers none of them offered warranty on the carpet. 2. it seems that the store is new and that they are working through some of the different aspects of the business. Some people were not trained properly and he took full responsibility for that. 3. Great Floors has since stopped working with the people who installed our carpet due to many complaints. 4. He thanked me for my review and that they actually used it to help improve communication and to discuss procedures etc.. I was very pleased with my conversation. He expressed that they take customer reviews very seriously and they are improving/correcting the things that need correction. I am no longer in need for flooring but maybe the installation process will be better now for other people. I rated this a 4 star because I was very happy with my conversation and felt that the store manager took what I said seriously.
