Amanda replaced it with a new unit, but we continued to have issue. I would send her video of the malfunction, and she would continually say there is nothing wrong. The machine was only producing a small amount of water at a time continually running and erroring out. She told me I needed to replace the filters after only 2 months. She said our water must have heavy toxins or??? In it so I looked up the quality of water in our area bought a test kit and tested our water. It was normal. I sent her the results to let her know it is not the water..... I asked for a refund and was told I could send the machine back they would service it and send it back to me ALL at my expense as the 30-day warrantee was expired. I asked for a refund. After many texts back and forth, her response was, I will no longer communicate with you, you are disrupting my healing.... I ended up purchasing filters for another $150. Which did not fix the issues. I have filed a complaint with the BBB with no response. We have nursed the machine along, but it finally totally died 3 months short of a year. I am very disappointed to say the least in the quality of the product, but mostly the unprofessionalism displayed by Amanda. I would never recommend this product, nor would I work with Amanda ever again. I will avoid her like the plague. Not only did she sell us a faulty unit that she wouldn't honor after 2 months, but she disrupted my well-being and our finances. We may have last the money, but she will have to live with her dishonesty. Steer clear people...

He sent kids who were previously water delivery men with no construction background and asked this kid to hang cabinets and remodel the house that I paid Lucas to perform. He stopped working all together. I gutted the house and left him a blank canvas. He was hired to texture the walls, hang cabinets, install flooring and carpet, install doors, windows, paint, trim work, etc. He hasn't finished one full item on his scope of work and all of the items he has done will have to be completely redone by another contractor because it has been done incorrectly. He happily accepted my money (nearly in full) and walked away leaving the project a complete mess.

I finally had to tell Lowes I did not want to deal with Lucas anymore and to get me another contractor which they did and they completed the job. I would not recommend K 5 for any remodeling work.

This work took over six months with many delays and re-dos. Now, only 3 years later, the shower floor is leaking. The subcontractor was Vadim Zolotnyuk, VZ Precise LLC. As soon as the damage was detected (June 2025), we contacted Great Floors and are advised they only provide a 1 year warranty. One year on a complete shower remodel? A shower should MANY MANY more years than this! The estimate to repair is more than $7,000 because the subcontractor also took the extra tile and of course it's discontinued. Our entire remodel cost well over $30,000. Customers should expect better treatment than this. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
