If you want sub-standard cleaning and sanitizing, then pick this company.
I had a total of 4 cleanings from this company, and I will outline my experience for you so that others don't get the same treatment.
On the first visit, I came home and everything seemed to be alright. Although upon further inspection I could tell my bathroom floor had not been fully mopped (there was still a layer on top of the tile), and dust bunnies still lived under my bed, the couch, entryway bench, nightstands, and entertainment center. Ok, this was just the first cleaning I thought. On the next one I'll tell the girls exactly what I want.
Second cleaning I asked the girls in person to make sure that the bathroom floor was mopped fully and that the floors were swept and mopped under all furniture. Get home that night, bathroom is clean, but still have some dust bunnies under the bed and couch. Ok, I thought to myself, I obviously wasn't clear enough on what I wanted done.
Third cleaning, I had 3 glasses in the kitchen sink (empty, water glasses) and one laundry basket of clean clothes on my couch. It had been one of those morning as I left in haste and forgot to take the laundry basket off the couch for the ladies. Not a big deal, I figured they would at LEAST clean around the laundry basket. NOPE. The couch was completely untouched by the cleaning ladies. Also, the sink was left unclean as well, in addition to my kitchen table, and still the pervasive dust bunnies under the main furniture items. After this cleaning, I called the office the next day to express my concern. It was not until after 3 cleanings I was even given and/or made aware of the company's cleaning policies, something that should have been provided to me when I first became a client. Some of the policies include that if a door is not open to a room they will not enter it, if personal items are on something they won't bother to clean it, etc. I understand these policies are necessary, but they should have been provided to me PRIOR to my first cleaning. All the company offered me after this cleaning was $10 off the service.
Fourth, and final cleaning. Alright I decided this time I would be crystal clear on my expectations. I emailed the office a detailed list of what I wanted done, and left a copy of it on my kitchen counter. Disappointment set in again upon returning home that evening. I looked under my master bed (which has nothing stored under it, just the legs of the bed are under there) to find dust bunnies there, under my couch, entry bench, night stands, entertainment center, yep, more dust bunnies. I called that night, but the office was closed. I received a call the next morning from the office gal.
It was at this point that I was sorely upset and disrespected. The office lady said that she spoke with the cleaning ladies and the housekeeping manager and according to them, they swept and mopped under all my furniture. So now not only was I being called a liar, but my house was still not done to my expectations. She said it was "not the policy to move furniture in order to clean." I DID NOT expect furniture to be moved, but I do expect the employees to reach out under the furniture with a long handled broom and mop to clean when I am paying them good money for a service. Either way, even if they have a hard time reaching under a queen sized bed to sweep, how does that explain not cleaning under a couch or a bench on hardwood floors? The office manager only offered to take off money from my last cleaning, and then they said they were going to terminate my client status. First off, that my job to discontinue my services with the company. Second, that still didn't FIX the problem or get my house cleaned properly.
