    Worst experience.. RUDE FRONT DESK.

Worst experience.. RUDE FRONT DESK. I visited this place today. The TODAY SPECIAL menu had GOAT HALEEM we ordered it and then after 15mins the serving guy informs us that they don't have it. Waiter said that they missed to erase the board and it was 2 weeks back menu. I went to front desk to inform this he was so RUDE starting an disrespectful conversations and not allowing to finish. This guy is RUDE for the 2nd time in a row. Later he erased it after making me to stand at front desk for 5mins.

I got takeout and all of us enjoyed the garlic naan. The veg samosas were also a big hit. Then more fried food craze was fulfilled with the mixed veggie pakora. I got two because I was thinking of having a bowl of cereal pakora for breakfast too. You know the biggest hit was though? The raita (yogurt, cucumber, garlic, mint) sauce that you drizzle all over your meal. I guess some people like to dip in Tx too so it's whatever you like to do we don't judge. Once this Covid stuff is squashed I hope to visit this place for a family meal.

Late night hunger led me to this place. Wasn't really sure what I wanted to eat nor what I was craving, but somehow I decided to try this place out. I'm glad I did. First off, I had my share of good Indian food and my share of bad Indian food. I ended up ordering take out as the football game was on haha. Like most places, I order two three dishes to try and share which led me to order the chicken biryani and chicken korma (extra spicy). The special chicken biryani was good, but nothing to rave about. The special chicken biryani contained seasoned boneless chicken with an egg and garnishes. The boneless chicken was juicy and seasoned well. To be honest it fit quite well with the Basmati rice, but something wasn't just there for me. My favorite dish from this place and I guess I can say something I will continue to order, chicken korma. Now something pretty neat about this place, they did not hesitate to play with the spice level. A lot of Indian places I've gone to has the option to increase spice level, and sadly and disappointing...they don't. I requested extra spicy and man they delivered. Not only was the spice there; where after one bite my mouth was burning, but the flavor was incredible. Almost every customer that walked out while I waited for my order raves about how great their food was, how this place is always on their list; some even ordered take out after they ate haha. This restaurant must be doing something right. I do recommend this place!

One of the best Indian restaurants in town. I am a regular here. I love their Egg Biryani. One of the rare Indian item called Rumali Roti is available here and I love it. It goes best with Paneer Tikka Masala or Mutter Paneer which are out of this world. Definitely try their chikoo shake too. If you are into sweets, then I recommend either Gulab Jamun or Rasmalai. Google it, not hard to find their pictures :) PS: I am a vegetarian (Eggiterian for those who know what that means)

Last 2 orders had to be canceled due to delivery drivers

This is my 5th and last time ordering from this restaurant via Yelp. My main complaint is with the Grub Hub delivery drivers. I have worked for DoorDash, UberEats and Favor so I am familiar with how confusing apartment complexes can be. I requested the order be delivered at 8:20pm and the driver called at 8:19pm asking for directions. I ask the driver where exactly in the complex he was and all he said was "building 10". I instructed him to get out of his car and walk (maybe he could see the building numbers better). I told the driver to come to the back of my complex and he would find my building. Not rocket science. The driver said he would call me back but instead he clicked "deliver" and went about his merry way without actually delivering my food. I immediately contacted Grub Hub for a refund and to let them know this was the second time this exact same thing has happened. I am not happy with Grub Hub because the delivery drivers give up to easily. Not sure why these last 2 drivers have had a problem but it's not acceptable. Makes me not want to order via Yelp again. I also called the restaurant to notify them of the situation. The person who answered the phone asked a million and one questions before handing the phone to the manager. Once the manager got on the phone he asked the same million and one questions. Guess that's policy. I know they could hear the attitude and frustration in my voice so why ask all those questions? I made my suggestion 3 times. "Maybe you guys should think about using a different delivery company". The manager kept asking the same questions over and over again so I politely told him I understand there might be a language barrier issue so I would write a review. He understood that and said something about the owner but that was the same time I was disconnecting the call LOL. I'm not sure what Grub Hub will do about the delivery drivers or if the restaurant will stop using Grub Hub. If I decide to eat from this establishment again I will definitely have to drive and pick it up. Very disappointed!!!

    Lamb chops
    Anna L.

Clean and nicely decorated place, although the lighting is a bit different.. Started with lamb chops which were a good start but they were a little too overcooked and so was a little tougher to chew on. Had the special chicken biryani that came topped with a hard boiled egg. The flavor was just okay and rice erred on the drier side. Garlic naan is always a must so we also ordered chicken tikka masala for some dipping fun. Will return if we are in the area and have a hankering for Indian food!

We had to make multiple requests to her and eventually other servers to get naan brought to the table, by which point all the food was cold. She was not clearing dirty plates, so we had dirty plates crowing the table until we started to stack them, which let another server know that these needed to be picked up. Eventually, a member of our table just grabbed a pitcher of water cause the waters were not being refilled. Not a fun experience, she needs to re-trained. Her co-workers were having to tell her to do this and that cause she was taking 0 initiative.

They were out of the popular butter chicken when we initially arrived, but it was refilled soon after. The chicken breast meat in that dish was on the dry overcooked side, but the flavor was fine. My favorite meat item was this crispy Asian tasting chicken! Fresh naan is brought to the table, though the batch we received was burnt and thick... meh. Not yummy. My favorite part of the buffet experience is the desserts though! The carrot halwa, gulab jamon, and the rice kheer are all delicious! Make sure to save room for them! Parking sucks. Get here on the early side or late side if possible.

Pros -There were a lot of vegetarian options that taste good. I actually thought the vegetarian choices tastes better than non-veg. My favorite veg dish was the mushroom masala fry, and my favorite non-veg was the Virudhu Nagar Chicken Pakora. -We got seated upstairs and although it's a lot of going up and downstairs to get food, I thought it was nice to be seated upstairs near the entrance so we got to see the whole restaurant. The buffet area looks impressive. I liked this portion of the restaurant but do feel that space is limited especially with large parties. -Staff were all very nice and helpful. -There was a dosa station. I didn't get to try because I was just so full! Cons -We went during lunchtime and although we didn't have to wait for a table, it was crowded at the buffet area when getting food, and at times people take a longer time getting food. -The non-veg was a bit disappointing as the taste was a bit bland, especially the curry types which should be bursting with flavors. -They offered a special fish dish but it has bones which I don't prefer. -They did not have my favorite puri when we were there! No Indian buffet restaurant should ever run out of puri or not offer! -There was mango ice cream and a variety of other desserts!

On my last visit, I had the Lychee Ceviche, Barrah Kebab, Mushroom Khichdi (highly recommend), Dal Musaafar (also a must-order), Laal Maas, Lamb Chop Sulfiyan Biryani, and Brussel Sprouts -- so I already had a strong impression of how layered and ambitious the menu could be coming into this meal. This time around, the experience felt even more intentional -- not just in individual dishes, but in how everything was meant to be combined. The Paani Puri was easily the most fun dish of the night. Each puri came filled with spiced potato and chickpeas, paired with a lineup of flavored waters -- Yogurt Chili, Passion Fruit, Guava, Mango, and Traditional Tamarind. We ended up tasting the waters individually first, then building our own combinations. The tamarind was smoky and nostalgic, while the guava leaned especially exotic, and the passion fruit came in as a close second with its bright tropical notes. I also tried mixing the traditional tamarind with mango, which oddly created a more Hispanic-leaning flavor profile -- sweet, tangy, and super familiar in a completely different way. The passion fruit + guava combination ended up being my favorite overall. It was so light, refreshing, and interactive that we immediately ordered another round. Mithu's Coriander Shrimp was my favorite savory dish of the night. The shrimp sat in a coconut-based curry that had this mellow, toasted depth that reminded me a lot of Vietnamese chicken curry -- warm, aromatic, and comforting without being heavy. The bread soaked up the sauce perfectly, but what really made this dish stand out was how well it paired with everything else. When combined with the Chicken Tandoori Kulcha and its butters, it genuinely elevated both dishes and created one of the best bites of the entire meal. The Chicken Tandoori Kulcha came stuffed with spiced chicken and served with Kashmiri butter and fenugreek butter. On its own, it was already a buttery flavor bomb -- rich, slightly spicy, and incredibly aromatic. The Kashmiri butter brought warmth and heat, while the fenugreek butter added a refreshing, almost yogurt-like herbal note. But the real move was layering the coriander shrimp curry onto the kulcha -- that combination balanced the spice and added depth, making the dish significantly better. The Malwani Fish Curry featured unbelievably tender sea bass -- I compared it to silken tofu, almost like the filet mignon of fish. The curry itself was coconut-based with kokum, which gave it a citrusy, slightly sour edge. While I appreciated how regional and complex it felt, it leaned a bit too citrus-forward for my personal taste when eaten alone. That said, it completely transformed when mixed with rice or the biryani -- creating this incredibly cohesive, flavorful bowl that balanced everything out. The Jackfruit Kolkota Biryani was one of the dishes I was most curious about, and it delivered in a really interesting way. The jackfruit had a texture surprisingly close to meat -- similar to chicken or pork but softer -- and absorbed the spices incredibly well. The rice itself was extremely aromatic, layered with saffron, rose, and warm spices. Like many dishes here, it really shone when combined with the fish curry or dal, which added richness to the overall dish. The Daal Musaafar continues to be one of the most reliable standouts here. It's a 72-hour slow-cooked black lentil dish that comes out incredibly creamy, buttery, and rich. This time, it felt slightly saltier and a bit less creamy than I remembered, but once mixed, it balanced out nicely. It's still one of those dishes I would come back for on its own -- comforting, indulgent, and consistently one of the best things on the menu. The Nimbu Naan was thinner than the bullet naan I had on my previous visit, but that actually worked in its favor. The lemony brightness cut through the richness of the meal and made it the perfect supporting piece for soaking up dal, curry, and biryani. It added a refreshing contrast rather than just being a filler carb. The Pour Me a Slice cocktail -- winner of Truffle Masters 2026 -- was exactly as advertised. It's a truffle fat-washed rum drink designed to taste like a margarita pizza, and somehow... it really does. The savory notes, herbs, and slight cheese element came through in a way that was bizarre but incredibly accurate. Not something I'd drink every day, but easily one of the most memorable concept cocktails I've had. Despite it being Mother's Day and the restaurant running at full capacity, our waiter, Justin (with six years of experience), curated an incredibly smooth and thoughtful experience for us. The pacing, recommendations, and overall flow of the meal never felt chaotic, which is impressive given how hectic the night was. Huge thanks to Justin for really elevating the experience.

Our first dish, the Paani Puri, came out in 10 minutes. My favorite paani was the tamarind, followed by the passion fruit, yogurt, and then guava and mango. I thought the guava was a bit bland at first but it really worked well in the Puri. It took about ~30 minutes for appetizers to come out. Mithu's Coriander Shrimp (4/5): It reminds me a lot of Vietnamese / Thai curry. It's a bit pricey, but would recommend trying it. The sauce went really well with naan. Tandoori Chicken Kulcha (4/5): Delicious filling. The Kashmiri butter and fenugreek butter were very unique to melt on and add flavors. We actually had the most fun dipping the Kulcha in the shrimp sauce (4.5/5 combo haha) Entrees came out at ~50 minutes. Malwani Fish Curry (4.5/5) Inspired by West india and an incredibly tender piece of cod. The curry was very citrus forward and went excellently with naan and biryani rice. Dal Musaafer (5/5) Still fantastic, smoky, and complex. I'll get this every time we come. Jackfruit Biryani (3/5): A surprisingly good replacement texture for chicken, but I felt that it was missing the complexity of the lamb chop biryani. Nimbu Naan (4/5): Comes with three pieces and has a nice lemony flavor. I think I prefer the spice of the bullet naan. We also tried the "Pour me a Slice" cocktail, which was really a unique experience of drinking a pizza. Seriously, you can barely taste alcohol here. It's a truffle award winner but the truffle really comes out as a lingering flavor. It's really like a margarita pizza. Paid with inKind with no issues again. Another really fun experience here!

Granted a group of 12 people showed up unannounced right around opening time, the service was still a bit on the slower side. We waited about 30-35 minutes to receive our samosas and another 15 minutes to receive our Thali plates. All twelve of us ordered the same thing--the Regular Thali. The Thali is a platter that comes with 3 different curries or stews, 3 types of breads, rice, dessert, and a samosa. While I am not very knowledgeable about Indian cuisine and have no basis of comparison, the three curries and breads were delicious. Of the three curries, the paneer masala was my favorite and I enjoyed all three breads. The vegetable curry and lentil stew were both equally delicious and offered a change of pace from the paneer masala. The samosa was a bit of a miss for me due to the shell being a bit on the thick side, but the spices and tamarind chutney were good, but not outstanding. The benefit of ordering the Thali is that it is an affordable way to sample a very good variety of foods with the option or order more of whatever included curry, bread, samosa, rice, dessert completely free as a part of the Thali set. Would I go back? Yes, I would go back to have the Thali again but I'm unsure if I would be adventurous enough to order a full portion of a single curry or dish simply out of unfamiliarity with Indian cuisine. However, I would avoid Gayatri Bhavan if my boss isn't taking an extended lunch break with us.
