This most recent August experience made up for the prior experience by a mile! The food was served hot, which is key for a restaurant. Our server, Angie, checked on us frequently and was very attentive and friendly. The manager on duty, Derrick, also checked on us frequently but also checked with other diners also to ensure their dining experience was going well. I also want to thank one of the other managers, Andre, who reached on to me after the prior experience, which shows you that Shunk Gulley cares about its customers and looks to improve. Our booth was literally held together with duct tape, and the cushion underneath had completely worn out, making it uncomfortable. The ambiance was eclectic, but there was no music, no atmosphere, and no real vibe. Between the rushed service, worn-out seating, and high prices, the experience simply didn't live up to the hype. I wouldn't return.
