Great food, enormous steaks, and a very friendly environment. You get to see a lot of really nice motorcycles.

We chose to sit outside, and while the service was great, the food was even better. For starters, I had the orange margarita (recommended by our waiter), and wow, it was delicious. I've never had one quite like it. For my entrée, I ordered a mix of three tacos, and each one was packed with flavor. The only downside was the number of tiny flies outside, they kept finding their way into my drink. Not sure if that's typical, but I'd probably opt to sit inside next time because of it. That said, the food and overall experience were really great, and I'd definitely recommend checking this place out!

We stood there for a while trying to figure out if we needed to seat ourselves or if we should wait on somebody. We were finally noticed and directed to a table. After being seated they brought us chips and salsa. For the most part, I love chips at a Mexican restaurant! They're always so thin and crispy and taste fresh. I guess you can go wrong in some instances, but these were PERFECT! Thin, crisp, and salted. And the salsa was just right. It wasn't too spicy. I ended up ordering the quesadilla and my partner ordered a combination plate. Her combination plate had a tamale that she didn't want so I took it. I can say that the tamale tasted like it came out of a can. It was not authentic at all. I can't go wrong with the quesadilla that's pretty much my go-to. She really enjoys her tacos and she said they were pretty good. Overall the food was okay.

We came in for a late lunch on a week day so it was not busy at all, but our server still seemed pretty scatter brained for some reason. I split the chicken fajitas with my dad and they were okay; tortillas were fantastic but the chicken and veggies were terribly over seasoned. The rest of our table got enchiladas and the quesadilla and really enjoyed it. Overall not a terrible place to be, but don't think it would be good on a busy night. Service just did not feel very personal, felt like just another wallet in a tourist restaurant.

I have to say, out of the many times we've visited, Kim truly stood out as the highlight. Some people simply have a natural gift for hospitality, and it's clear that she does. Beyond her professionalism, she genuinely seems to enjoy what she does, and that makes all the difference. She was exceptional from beginning to end, attentive, warm, and perfectly in tune with our experience. Your establishment is incredibly fortunate to have someone like her representing it. Thank you, Kim, for making our evening such a memorable one.

After roaming into a number of fun shops, we realized we were feeling up to a snack and drinks, and we happened across LaCo. The service and the food and drinks were good, and there was a nice ambiance to the place, too. The four of us immediately were seated at a bar during happy hour in the early afternoon when there were only a few people there. In fact, other than two people just leaving when we arrived, we were the only ones at the bar until just before we left. We arrived on a weekday afternoon just as happy hour was starting. Happy Hour prices included $2 off select wines and their house margarita, $1 off bottled beer, and discounted priced appetizers. My wife and I shared an order of Salsa Roja which included charred tomato salsa served with house friend chips. One of our friends ordered some blackened chicken wings, and both of our friends ordered drinks. Everyone was happy with what we ordered. LaCo stands for Latin Coastal as it is considered "30A's Latin coastal kitchen" with Latin-inspired lunch and dinner dishes with a coastal twist. The restaurant is located between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach in Seacrest Beach. They operate on "beach time" and do not take reservations. Their published hours are daily from 11 AM to 9 PM with limited yet special priced happy hour menu from 3-5 PM and a full menu during the other times of the day. You can see their menu, photos, and more information about their restaurant as well as order online and sign up for news and updates at https://laco30a.com. While we do not head to 30A that often, if we head back to Seacrest Beach, we'll certainly consider another visit to LaCo, perhaps when the full menu is available. We recommend this restaurant to others wanting a unique taste and a filling snack or meal!
