Paradigm Builders is an exceptional company with each person skilled in their area of expertise, but more importantly, dedicated to detail and caring that the job they complete is to the highest standard. The team is hard-working, and the owner Aviv conscientious and professional. Aviv has a wealth of knowledge. He is kind and allows the client to discuss their plans, gently helping them accomplish their goal, while benefiting from his expertise necessary to navigate construction and renovation.
As much as Aviv deserves praise for his professional demeanor, it is his personal character that sets him apart. His moral compass is strong and true. He cares about his work and by putting his name on a project he ensures that it is the best. He is the foundation of the company, and his team respect and work hard for him.
I interviewed many companies for my renovation. Paradigm stood out above them all.
1. Paradigm produced a detailed quote for me to review in 24 hours.
2. Paradigm worked with my budget and Aviv knew how to separate a wish list from the work that is necessary to bring the house up to code and pass city inspection. Decisions were made with care.
3. Paradigm guided me to many companies for bathroom and kitchen purchases that offer a selection of prices saving me money, sometimes allowing me to save on one expense to cover the labor expense on the construction side.
4. Paradigm understands design and knows what works in which style.
5. I never felt pressured. I always felt guided by professional expertise.
6. Other companies quoted my renovation as a 12-week job. Paradigm completed the task in 7-weeks. Paradigm did not do this by cutting corners, far from it! They did it by working harder, longer hours, starting early and finishing the task before ending their day. Their work-ethic is strong.
The end-product is determined by the details. The internal work involving plumbing and electricity is hidden behind the walls having passed the city inspector's survey ensuring that it is up to code. What remains is the visual effect of weeks of work. In a part of the kitchen that is L-shaped the quartz countertop is cut as one single L-shaped piece. To create a flawless countertop covering a large space they avoided a corner cut between the first wall and the adjacent wall. I have seen other companies take the easier way out and cut the slab with a diagonal-line at the corner and seal it as the first wall meets the perpendicular wall. The only seam in my kitchen is behind the sink, very small, that is basically covered by the faucet. The rest of the countertop is a single piece of quartz. It looks sensational!
Aviv is a joy to work with, always available, always a phone call away when not on-site. He visits the site and examines the day's work in detail and if necessary, takes photos, making notes on his cell phone to guide his team to details that his experienced eye notices as work progresses. I consider myself lucky that our paths crossed and that I had Paradigm Builders, and Aviv, as my contractor, working on my renovation. read more
