The worst company. I am constantly waiting 4-5 days for a delivery. Customer service doesn't care. Facing another snowstorm with toddlers and now we won't have heat. I held on for 20 minutes and no one came on. I finally hung up. Their service department takes forever. The appointment is scheduled for between eight and four and they can only keep one phone number in your file. The technician that came to swap out our gas tanks was wonderful! He was sweet, kind, respectful, polite and STRONG--they sent him alone to remove 2 420 tanks and replace with another 420 tank. Called their emergency line because of a strong smell of gas and when the tech arrived later and it has dissipated, I got charged $140 for the service call. The good news is they showed but charging for reporting a gas leak is unconscionable read more

I have placed an order on Monday while we have 30% left in the tank. I called Wednesday and Friday to follow up, as I've been keeping the Temperature down to 65f during the day. Today( Saturday )my neighbor who placed an order on Wednesday got a delivery at 7:18am, by 7:29 driver finished ( I have videos with time), I assumed due to routing logistics I was next to get gas. Wrong!!! Driver left. i have called again and spoke with Jeff , expressed my concerns since now we have 5% in the tank that I need to make sure we get the gas today, as we have 3 small children. His answer was that the dispatcher can't promise we get this today, we went back and forth, got nothing but lip service, i request to speak to his supervisor, he told me he was going to transfer me to a dispatcher. I was on hold for 30 minutes, during this time I used my work phone and called again this time I spoke with Daniel, I requested to replace the order with a new one , as we are running extremely low, he told me the order is the computer?. I recently had to have a tank swapped out as there was a leak detected in our approximately 12 old tank. I called in to find out when someone was coming with the replacement tank. I was told an approximate delivery time and that the tech would call before he arrived. And, all that did happened as they said it would. The tech Dan did a very careful, great job. I'm a Great White Propane customer who called two weeks ago for a will call delivery. The voicemail greeting stated that will call customers could take up to 7 days or more due to the volume and time of year. I just called this morning and they said that they attempted delivery but had no driveway access. I never received a call and another delivery ticket was never initiated. I have a disabled spouse who is now sicker and needs to be kept warm. I left Paraco because of their high prices and I will be looking for another propane company again. read more

I hear people complain about their propane companies allll the time but I have been so happy with Paraco since I moved here three years ago. They monitor my tanks, notify me before delivery, leave invoices after they come. Recently they replaced one of my tanks. I had noticed a strong smell a day after a delivery. They jumped right on it--John came out and gave me a new tank--in the middle of holiday madness! It was such a relief to know my family was safe and that we'd have heat, hot water, and cooking propane! Paraco doesn't mess around. All of their operators are great, too. Originally started with Great White which merged with Paraco.I use gas for heating and cooking.They were'nt monitoring my tank properly and it got dangerously low before Christmas.I called 3 times before the holiday to hear that they were contacting the delivery team,which never came. Long story short I ran out of gas in 20 degree weather,totally unacceptable.Ive since switched to a new company that has cheaper gas prices. read more

I have Paraco gas to heat my home and provide hot water, being that we been using this company for less than a few months we didn't realize we were out of gas. Made a call to customer service to have our tanks filled, my fiancé was charged immediately but we were not informed till the next day when we made a phone call again to customer service that they will not be coming here for another 5 business days. Mind you, it is December 7th as I am writing this and there is 0 concern from customer service for our basic necessity. But if we had a disposable income, my fiancé was told we could pay $350 extra (on top of the $450 we already paid just to have the tanks filled) for their "express service". Unfortunately this company has a monopoly on propane gas and we are stuck with no gas, heat, or hot water in the winter because of it. You sure were quick enough to take the money out of our bank account in less than 24 hours! Thanks for nothing Paraco. Buyer beware!!! Read the reviews. Paraco sent me a service man who was to convert my stove to propane he got there didn't even really look at anything said that the gas connection was not up to code, yet he didn't really look because he would've seen it was and said he couldn't do anything. It was up to code I just feel he was lazy and because the space where he had to work was small he didn't want to have to bend down or get his big body in there to do the job. I'm disgusted with Paraco and they're lazy service people. They have just lost a long loyal customer! If you live in the Holtsville area, find a different gas company! read more

I hired Paraso Gas to install propane gas tanks for a home generator. The sales person did thge job survey by phone and never gave a true advisement of preventing damagfe to underground pipes. They needed to dig 30 feet and used ditch witch which destroyed my 4 pipes. This should have been dug by hand. The supervisor for the crew showed up and never talked to me about the damage. The installers left parts on the ground and holes in my siding. I sent back their own evaluation and I was never contacted by the company. read more

Our new generator supplier recommended Paraco who we hired sight unseen because all we know about propane are the baby bbq tanks. We haven't regretted the decision for a second. They make an appointment, call that day to confirm and surprise, surprise show up when they said they will. The process of getting a home generator seems to be overly complex and way over regulated, but Paraco know the procedure, arrange for the town inspectors and stay there until they arrive so you're not left alone trying to answer the fire Marshall's questions because he's a big guy who carry's a gun. So we now have two big propane tanks hooked to the generator with a wifi thingy to tell them when the gas is low. I'm happy with their service and yes, the staff is friendly, polite and capable. read more

The estimator was not great and the company made me wait three weeks to have my lines out in. But the two guys who dug the lines- Bob and Dominick were great. The hand dug the trench around tree roots and the electric lines and they were friendly and professional. i have not had any further dealings with them yet because we juT got connected. read more

So I call for a Gas delivery and did not ask the price because I was a Bay Gas customer and always treated fairly. Paraco takes over and they deliver gas at $4.49 a gallon. THE GOING PRICE IF $2.09!!!! I called and said this is robbery and they said too bad. They are more than DOUBLE THE PRICE and don't tell you.... I switched to a nice company in Riverhead that said it is $2.09. Nasty Crooks!!! read more
