This storage facility is clean , temperature is nice and dry , had my clothes and many other items in a 10x10 Easy access , would highly recommend this facility. Very easy Communication with the Manager Chris . Such a nice guy . I have had a few storages in the past and managers that were rude. Chris is a keeper . I was stressed out not knowing how I would get everything done and he gave me great advice on how to organize my stuff to make the move smooth. Staff member at this location is rude and has harassed myself and my family on multiple occasions. My first interaction with this employee could easily have been chalked up to being my fault. I was at the keypad and having trouble remembering the unit number because we had recently changed units. The guy comes out and instead of offering assistance he begins to berate me about not holding up traffic. Granted, I was there for probably 5 minutes, but there's a way to talk to people. I try to explain why I'm there; he isn't interested and keeps repeating the same thing, you can't hold up traffic. Fair enough, you could have been more polite, but OK my fault, right? My next interaction with this person, I came with my car and my mother behind me in her car as we are moving a lot of stuff. Mind you, my mother is 75 years old. I open the gate and enter; my mother quickly tucks in behind me to follow so that she doesn't get stuck outside the gate. We park and within seconds, the same guy comes charging out of the office and starts berating my mother now about speeding. I went over to the car and cut him off, telling him to talk to me. He's again rude and has no idea how to talk to customers. You can tell anyone anything in a polite way, but this guy clearly hasn't learned that lesson in life. At this point now I'm seeing the pattern with this person and tell him in not nice terms that he's said his piece, leave us alone, I'm not interested in your attitude. Keep in mind, countless people follow each other in. As I sit here writing this review, two different groups did the same thing, one of them had THREE cars. So why isn't he charging out of the office to confront them? Interesting. Third time. I'm alone, I pull in the parking lot and this time park in a space instead of taking up room in front of the keypad like he asked. We've again changed units, and I need to pull up the app because I don't remember the unit number. He again comes out of his office, this time I have no idea what for, I'm not speeding, I'm parked and out of the way. I open the window and before he starts talking, I tell him...no I don't need any help, please leave me alone. Mind you, this is a SELF SERVICE STORAGE FACILITY, if I need your help I can clearly see you through the window, sitting behind your desk in the office, I know where to find you. At this point, it's clear, this guy gets off on bothering and harassing people. Fourth time, yeah there's a fourth time, was today, and its way past time to file a complaint. I again pull in and park. This time I'm on the phone talking with someone in the car so I'm not ready to go inside. What happens? Of course, he comes over to the car. Now, I know my limits, I just keep my head down and keep talking to avoid confrontation. Of course, he can't take the hint and knocks on the window. So, I look at him and shake my head and wave him off. I don't open the window on purpose, so that no words are exchanged. This finally works and he goes inside. At this point I'm like let me do my business and get out of here before anything else happens. So, I pull in and put the person on speaker phone so I can go and get my camping gear. What happens? This ...wonderful person decides he's now going to go inside and confront me at the storage locker asking me if I need any help and starts arguing with me. I tell the guy you already know I'm not interested in talking to you so why are you here? He tells me I'm doing my job, and I want you to know I'm watching you, signaling with his fingers. I let him know, I'm not interested in your help so go back to your office. I then ask him his name, which he of course ignores repeatedly and goes back to his office. What business does he have coming to confront me like that when I clearly indicated at the car that I was not interested in talking? This was clearly an escalation on his part and way out of bounds. Through every one of these interactions, never once have I stepped inside the office or approached this person. He is always the initiator, always rude and abrupt and never with any desire to be helpful; to the contrary! Want to know the best part? Today, we are contacted by the facility, not to apologize, but to tell me that I am now banned from the location. Despite them having camera footage to review where they can see that on each occasion, it is their employee initiating the interaction for no reason other than to be belligerent. Long story short, I've been storing stuff here for easily three years on and off because it's close and convenient. The older gentleman that runs the place seems to be a decent, honest guy, but the younger employee with the beard who drives the Chrysler 300c, he's going to try someone on the wrong day. For this fact alone, you should avoid doing business here. I'll be out at the end of August and find somewhere else to do business where they understand how to speak to customers. TERRIBLE We booked a storage unit with Extra Space Storage as we needed somewhere to keep our bags for a month as we go travelling. I specifically asked the salesperson over the phone can we access this unit at 8pm as we need to drop our bags and head to the airport. He said absolutely, of course you can, our facilities are open all night. We took a $100 uber from the city to the building and upon arrival discovered that there was no access to the building. We tried to access it for half an hour, whilst ringing customer service trying to see if we could access our storage unit, we were told, the salesperson should not have told you that you could access your unit at 8pm as we are closed. We now have to find somewhere to drop off 6 massive bags before our flight which is in 2 and a half hours or else we are going to miss it. As of now, we are going to have to miss our flight and spend another couple of hundred dollars between us to try reorganise it for tomorrow until we find somewhere to keep our bags which we will have to spend more money on as well. We are also losing a day of travel and a night in our hotel. Ultimately costing us over $1,000 and ruining our travels. Do NOT rent a storage unit with this company. read more

I was shopping around for a storage unit and came across extra space storage I still wasn't sure if this was the space I was going to choose so I came in and I was welcomed with open arms by Chris the manager. Once we conversed and he showed us around the units he had available I was convinced this was the right place for me as Chris was very nice and very knowledgeable of the premises and the rules of the business he didn't leave not one detail out which I really appreciated because as a client I love to be informed with everything detail there is to know. This place really needs cleaning and watching the mice droppings here & there. We don't believe many of the reviews, they seem fake. Also, the first time the facilities are used there should be someone to guide us. My third point the carts are breaking apart and are hard to use. I'm sure E.S. can afford to put better & new carts for the benefit of all. read more

I've been storing here for almost 4 years. *you can imagine my rate ,(almost $300). I've been having incidents with the new in store living manager I believe that's his title , but the gentleman doesn't treat clients with care and respect but has been targeting me for the past two years in many several different occasions. ever time I go to my storage the manager is like having me on a time clock and declaring for me what's important and what isn't for me to do in the unit . ever since he's came the premises isn't sanitized or picked up and cleaned up by the workers , like the previous ones will keep clean. this manager christopher a man in his 70s I believe not sure has been targeting the Lyfts I have pick me up in front of the office outside the unit and harasses anyone that doesn't go into his office and say hello. I am a single mom of a 9 year old am 23 and I don't have a car to transport . due to many harassment accounts with the gentleman where he can't compose himself when approaching me in such disorderly conduct has proceeded for the past two years to target me and my whereabouts. I have developed PTSD just with the thought of thinking I need to go to storage and not feel that he will pop up any moment to stalk and harrass me as to what I'm doing in the unit . I have many video incidents where he's acted like such. he's been the only person I've had this issue with. many managers have passed by in the past 4 years and I never had a problem until HE came into office. I don't know what his problem is against me but I will be following this with a harassment report from the police. he has also made threats to me about restricting me from accessing my belongings . Assistant managers are supposed to keep the premises cleaned , make sure the client is taken care of aside from that Christopher has done the complete opposite and has made me feel like a personal enemy of his or like criminal . This behavior needs to come to a stop . **junior and angel need to make a come back ** to clean the facility . Place is filthy as of today. When you walk to the bathroom there's some units that seems like water is coming out and or a leak in the roof somewhere ? Not sure . I will be taking more pictures for documentation. read more

From beginning to end it was a pleasurable experience. Junior was great! We weren't sure what to expect since we'd never done this before, but now I'm sorry I hadn't done this sooner. We rented the smallest space, but still have lots of room left to play with. Everyone was very nice. The hallways are clean, the climate controlled area was nice and cool, considering how hot it was outside and the storage space itself was nice and clean as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for someplace to put all the stuff you have that you don't use but don't want to get rid of just yet. read more
