I made the first call to IDEAL to ask the price and early delivery date on 1/24/2025 Friday. MARK in Ideal Bottle said that the price is $2.989/G for 800G propane and early delivery date is 1/27/2025 Monday. I told MARK that I will ask other company if they can give me a low price and early delivery date. Because I can not find early delivery date of the propane company(my tank is nearly empty), I made the second call to IDEAL on 1/24/2025 Friday, Bill in IDEAL took my call and I made my order of Monday delivery of 1/27/2025 on 1/24/2025 Friday. On Monday 1/27/2025, I called IDEAL to ask them what time they will delivery the propane to my house at 9:00am, they said it will be within two~thee hours. IDEAL deliveried the propane to my house at 12;00pm. However, they charged me the price at $3.129/G for 850G. It cost me $110.5 plus tax more. Today (Tuesday), I come to my office to check my original order record of $2.989/G. I call IDEAL to ask them the reason why they charge me $3.129/G, not $2.989/G. They said that I did not order the propane on Friday and ordered the propane on the Monday (price is $3.129/G) . IDEAL offer me 7cent/G credit only, not 13 cent/G credit. In my 18 years in my home I have never had a propane company as awesome as Ideal. I have gone through 4 companies in my years here. Twice with Paraco who bought out my other suppliers. Paraco are the absolute worst. With every delivery (after they took over a company) my rate increased, with EVERY delivery and when you call to cancel they want to negotiate a rate. Ideal raised my rate ONCE in 2 years for 2 cents! They have the lowest rate I ever paid. Best one I could find when I switched. They are by far the best out there, I will tell anyone who has or needs a propane company to switch to them. We just changed over to natural gas and I was so sad to cancel my service because of the awesome service I had with them. If you need a new propane company IDEAL is the only way to go. read more

Ray and his whole team are professional, reliable, personable, and accommodating. We acquired a gas stove, but did not have connection to natural gas (electric only). We looked into getting connected to natural gas, but the process seemed too long for our purposes. We can't be happier with our choice to go with propane. From the first call, there was no pressure. Everything was explained patiently and in detail. They sold us what we needed; no more, no less. I've had propane for 2.5 years and out of the blue when I'm almost on empty (less than 10%) they tell me they will not be making a delivery because of my AC being less than 10feet from the propane tank. Me and my 5 kids are now sitting in a house with no heat and will be charged $75 because of two empty tanks because of this "law" without any warning. This is unjust and just outrageous that they can refuse you to have heat knowing there is a 7 month out as well as 4 other toddlers in the home. Think twice about using this company. read more

My family recently purchased a home that uses propane gas for everything (heat, hot water, cooking, etc), the builder left us with the information for the company who installed the temporary tank, however they never returned our calls to get an estimate on a bigger tank or at the very least to refill the tank they put in place. With all of that said after a google and Yelp search we found Ideal Bottle Gas. They were everything that you would expect from any company that you are reaching out to for a service. They came out right away, gave us an estimate within 24 hours and were able to install a bigger temporary tank, while we waited to receive permits from the town to install 3 bigger tanks. When I saw we were running low on gas on the temporary, they came out the next day to refill the tank although we were set to receive the bigger tanks later that week. Ray Sr. took time out of his day on a weekend to personally come to my home to troubleshoot some placement issues prior to the install date. Total gentleman, personable, and completly honest. We purchased a Generac standby generator recently. Had a few propane people come in for quotes. Ideal gave us a rough estimate over the phone and then came by for a sight survey. They were very thorough and knowledgeable. Some of the others we called were very expensive or didn't even show up for their appointment. That really put us off. Ideal came back with a very reasonable quote and scheduled the installation. They came in, did an excellent job, and everything works exactly as we expected it too. Even the generator installation people were impressed with the propane installation and asked for a business card. Great people. Great prices. We have to family members locally that are getting standby generators too. We're definitely going to use these guys again. read more
