I was extremely disappointed with an aggressive and arrogant female staff here during lockdown restrictions. She yelled at me to "Get out!" pointing me out the door, stepped from behind the counter and confronted me face to face, showing me the door! All because I came in exactly at 8pm, said hello politely and in return she gave me a stinky eye from behind the counter and barked at me angrily "We're closed!". I stepped outside shocked at the behavior, but returned within 2-3 minutes because they were still open for deliveries, as I saw delivery workers coming in and out. So I went in again and asked, "Are you really closed. Can't you take my order when you're serving deliveries still?". Which made that young lady visibly angry yelling "New government rules , shops close at 8pm now! Get out of here, NOW!!!" She had a really evil outraged look on her face. she looked very hostile, aggressive and mean to the customer. I rang the manager, who didn't pick up for a long time. When she finally answered I told her how her staff is treating me. She told me to wait outside, and that she'll ring the girl working on the shift and tell her to take my order. I hung up and because it was in the dead of winter I went back in after a while to sit and wait inside. Mind you for "We're closed" the door was still being open!
Well, a real hell broke loose at that moment! The girl became red with rage seeing me again! Stepped from outside of the counter stood in front of my face, her arm stretched out pointing to the door yelling at me "I told you we are CLOSED!!! now get out, immediately!!! I said, GET OUT!!!" She was 5 cm (2 inches from my face)! I told her calmly: "Didn't your manager just call you telling you to take my order?" To which she responded as a proper gaslighting, lying manipulating PSYCHOPATH: "No, she didn't!" Brazenly into my face! I told her: "I just spoke to your manager and she had told me I'll get my order and \i should wait" To which she doubled down on not speaking to the manager and kept repeating in a very aggressive, belligerent tone, face to face with me to "Get out, Now!!!" while keep pointing at the door!
I refused and kept seated and said I won't leave because I was promised by the manager I'll be served.
All this happened on CCTV camera pointed right at us! LOL! Her face started quiver with rage at that point, so I told her it is uncomfortable having her standing so close to me during covid pandemic, and that she should go back behind the counter and stop lying she didn't receive a phone call from a manager telling her to take my order.
I tell you, I avoided that place for more than a year, ordering my food and spending my money at their competitors in the neighborhood. They've missed out on a revenue from a very good customer that I am. (Lazy to cook old ba*ta*d with an above average disposable income LOL!) and why? Because they employ volatile psychopaths and put them front of the house to deal with customers. I do not take yelling, breach of personal space and arrogance lightly. I always call it out.
It's clearly not fault of the girl, she is apparently mentally impaired and has some form of personality disorder if she's able to treat people like that! I totally blame the management for employing a mean, nasty, belligerent, verbally and potentially very likely even physically aggressive person! Remember she jumped out from her station behind a counter to confront me face to face while I was seated on a stool, while she yelled at my face to get out military training camp style! LOL!
Strangest thing is, I pointed the managment to the incident, and told them repeatedly to watch the CCTV footage to believe me. No one has ever called back and said they watched it and admitted it was a horrible way of treating a customer or apologized to me. When I wrote this review on Google, all I got was an angry sms text from the manager herself, reprimanding me for writing a negative review even though she gave me my order on the house as an apology! She wrote something along the lines of: "I can't believe you gave us negative review even though you got your food for free!!!" So I have been assaulted verbally and also by text twice! First time by her staff, second time by the very manager who is responsible for hiring that staff! Oh well! I guess everybody has a unique way of treating paying customers, I guess!
