We really enjoyed our visit to Jaffa! We were walking around Prague and tried 3 restaurants for a midday meal around 1 pm but all were fully booked as we forgot to make reservations. Trip Advisor lead us to Jaffa, located inside the mall. We were so warmly welcomed and very well cared for by the staff! We were seated immediately in a cozy booth, which was perfect. We ordered 3 main dishes plus water and soda pop. The waiter also brought out free appetizers of bread, olives, pickles, and a pickled vegetable salad, like cole slaw. My husband said, "This was my favorite meal so far in a Prague" and we are on day 4 of our travels, so 12 meals in! So that's high praise. Everything was so fresh: meat, bread, vegetables, sauces, rice. And the complementary tea our waiter delivered at the end of our meal was very flavorful, and a kind addition! There is on outdoor patio in the center of the restaurant, enclosed in glass walls so visible to diners but open to the air. If hookah is something you enjoy, it appears this is where that is used. We don't smoke or use hookah, but it was interesting to see people using that, while not having to be in the smokey area ourselves. It was completely separate and we couldn't smell anything from that patio. Bathrooms are super clean. We will definitely return to Jaffa for another meal. read more

ATTENTION AMERICANS! If you are looking for a great place to eat in Prague and want something different, this is where it's at. To start they bring you olives, pickles and a slaw with pita bread for the table that was great way to start the meal. Had the Jaffa Maze to start and it was all delicious. Then ordered a lamb kabab and it was on par with the rest of the food. At the end they brought out some mint tea as well which was a great way to end the night. HIGHLY recommend this place if you are in town. Just an FYI, it's inside a mall so it was a little confusing on how to get to it. Don't sleep on this place! read more

This was one of my favorite restaurants in beautiful Prague. It is located within a shopping mall but has a center garden terrace. It is comfortably casual. The food was soooooo good. We started with a sample platter with all of the specialty items. Hummus, tabouli (so fresh this was the best I ever had), baba ghanoush, grape leaves, and the best halloumi cheese ever. Served with fresh lavash for dipping and enjoying. It was a big platter but we ended up finishing, it was too good to leave. My husband had a mixed grill that he enjoyed and I had the eggplant served with saffron rice. Yes we had to have the balaclava with out any remorse. The best!!! We linger with some Hooka and left very satisfied and happy. Great Resturant. We were very Well taken care of by the wonderful servers. read more

Authentic Palestinian/Lebanese/Syrian dishes and the restaurant didn't disappoint. The music is awesome and brings memories back and they also had shishas outside! One of the best middle eastern food iv had in a very long time. I ordered their shish touk and it was amazing. The chicken was very well cooked and flavorsome The tahini and other sauces were a perfect match for the meat. The bread was warm and fresh and was a perfect addition to the meal. The portions are very generous. The staff is friendly and more than happy to recommend dishes. I was there on a weekday and the place was only 50% full, so had no problems in finding a table or getting my food on time. A must do if you like middle eastern and flavorful food. read more
