This is probably the worst place to go to fix your boat. I went here because I found this place on fb and thought they would do a good job for a reasonable price. They gave me a very reasonable quote, but when the job was completed. The bill was much higher than we originally discuss. They said things cost more or it took a lot longer then they thought it would. Noone even called me to let me know about the price increase. read more

This is by far the worst place you could ever dream of bringing your boat. There is not anything these guys can do that is legitimate. They installed a boat motor that we purchased that was not even there's to sell. They put another boat motor on the boat that was blown and had no title for it and left us like that. Please make sure you go to somewhere different then this boat shop. Going to your local flower shop would get you better service than Michael Zumwalt and his mechanic. Don't use this place... been getting the run around since I dropped it off 2 months ago. Picked it up after it had been there for a month, only to find out my jack was broke, and the boat still wasn't running right... Brought it back to the guy, and was finally told that it was done last week after it had been there for an additional month, mechanic was very adamant that I needed to come pick the boat up immediately, and wanted me to pay for the repairs via CC over the phone before even looking at the boat... Went to pick it up, they had broken the handle to one of my hatch's, and could not find my transom saver that was on the motor when I dropped the boat off... brought the boat back home. Once I got it home I had no power to my lights. Which was a repair I was told was performed.... took the boat back to this place, and was told since I had already paid, and picked the boat up that i would be put in line behind all the other boats before they could look at something they didn't fix right the first time... Update: called and left a message with the owner to express my dissatisfaction 2 days ago, still no return phone call... talked to the mechanic yesterday, and told him I would be by there this morning to pick the boat up. Mechanic became very agitated on the phone that I would not let him fix the boat. Mechanic was hollering at me over the phone, that I had already verbally agreed to let him fix the boat (this would be the 3rd time). Threatening that if I did not have the boat off his property by this morning he was going to charge $100/day storage... picked the boat up this morning, latch was still broken (happened while in their possession), and no transom saver (lost while in their possession). This place is a complete joke, I wouldn't recommend them to work on my worst enemies boat!!! read more
