Cuban sandwich it was sooo good!

Amazing food! Best Cuban of my life. (Not that I'm an expert, but it was delicious!!)

Just not good! Texture of the chicken and pork was super off. That turned me off right away. The tripleta sandwich that I had pretty much fell apart bc the bread was so flimsy. You can tell they went cheap on the meat bc they cut it in teeny tiny squares. I was excited to finally try this stop out and it seemed pretty popular. The tables were full, but it was not good not at all. Couldn't even finish it.

Papi Pincho is a nice spot for good quality Puerto Rican food. My wife and I enjoyed a to-go lunch yesterday and I had the Mofongo with Fried Pork. The mofongo was filling and savory with a hint of garlic flavor. The pork was tender and juicy with a nice amount of fattiness.

Had a great dinner here. Be aware - no indoor seating so it will close if it rains. We went one night and it had rained earlier in the afternoon, and they were unfortunately closed when we arrived! We got some bbq chicken, beef empanadas, and shrimp. The owner helped us figure out what to order as it was our first time. Everything was delicious! Perfectly cooked chicken and shrimp. Empanadas were crispy on outside and pipping hot on the inside. So yummy!

Papi Pincho is the real deal! The food is absolutely delicious! If you just drive by you may not consider stopping in because there truly is not a sit in dining area, tables are set up outside. You order your food and it is put in a takeout container and you can sit at some outside tables which are set up. Bottom line if you have traveled to Puerto Rico and have stopped at a roadside eatery, it is exactly like that. We ordered alcapurrias, pastelillos, octopus salad and cuajito (sp.?) oh and let me not forget the pinchos. Everywas cooked perfectly and tasted even better. I highly recommend this place. If you close your eyes and let yourself be guided by your senses you will think you are in Puerto Rico. By the way, we went on a Saturday and they had soMe really good salsa music playing and a group of Volkswagen enthusiasts were there displaying their vehicles which was also something else to see. Check this place out!

Pinchó delicious great flavor

Food was OK, prices are too steep, $5 for 2 pinchos is unrealistic. The meat was tender and pack with flavor, family owned and operated.

Staff was nice but the food really lacked flavor. The stuffed yuca had a funny taste and weird texture.

Excellentemente! Let me tell you! To die for!!!…read more This place is cute with the fun famous caricature Puerto Rican celebrities by an award winning artist. Their pics are on the wall and their story of the celebrities are on the napkin holders. Now you will find Puerto Rican rotisserie chicken - moist and tasty. Not dry! You will find other excellent Puerto Rican fare here - roasted pork, mofongo, trifongo, empanadas, alcapurrias, rice con gandules. We ordered a 1/2 chicken entree with sweet plantains. Our other entree is their pastelon. This is a must try. It's sweet plantain lasagna. Instead of noodles it's sweet plantains. Sweet and savory heaven here. You pick the two sides. I picked yuca with mojo(I ordered this for my hubby) along with it, sweet plantains. So good and so big and great price. They also give you some yummy samples - bread pudding and another pudding with coquito l. They also sell coquito which is the traditional coconut liquor drink to die for, served at Christmas Service is A+!!! Friendly, Helpful, Engaging!!! So glad we came here!!

The pork was succulent! I added a chicarone and it was crunchy and delicious! I would definitely recommend! We had so many leftover sides that I made fried rice the following day and added the Yuca to my pot roast on another meal. What impressed me, was they forgot the green banana salad in my order and called me to tell me while I was on my way home. Soooo sweet of them! I will try them again! Customer service like this is refreshing!

I went with yellow rice, red beans, and sweet plantains. My wife ordered the chicken combo with a side of yellow rice and yuca (her first time trying yuca!). The lady helping us (pretty sure it was the owner) was incredibly friendly and patient, guiding us through the menu like old friends. We paid, grabbed a table, and dug in. My wife took one bite of the rotisserie chicken and declared it the best she's had in ages--juicy, perfectly seasoned, and falling off the bone. No surprise there; we spotted those massive rotisserie ovens spinning away, so chicken is clearly their specialty! She then tried the yuca (boiled and crispy-edged, I assume) and loved it--said it was buttery and addictive. Her yellow rice had tasty chunks of different meats mixed in, and she couldn't stop raving about the flavor. I mixed my yellow rice (a different style from hers) with the red beans on the plate--pure comfort food heaven, rich, savory, and perfectly balanced. The sweet plantains? Outstanding. Caramelized just right, sweet but not overpowering, soft inside with that ideal crisp edge. Every bite was perfection. The place had a great vibe too--clean bathrooms, lively Spanish beats playing, and a casual, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We're already planning our next visit to try more dishes (that mofongo and rotisserie chicken platter are calling our names!). If you're craving authentic Puerto Rican BBQ and sides done right, Lelo's is a must-stop. Highly recommend--5 stars all the way!

Beautiful restaurant - I wish I had taken more photos inside but the place was packed (a good sign)…read moreand I try not to take pictures of random families and post them online. With that said, the food was excellent and there's a ton to choose from - it's easy to get overwhelmed, but the thing I enjoyed the most was the service and how sweet our server was (I forgot her name, but she was always so sweet and patient with our family). There were tons of folks eating mofongo so I'm sure that's a fan favorite here. We tried a few appetizers, juices, rice and beans, and shared a large platter that had multiple options for the family since it was our first visit and we didn't know what to try first. The tostones rellenos de churrasco (skirt steak stuffed fried green plantains) were delicious and come with five little cups and a dipping sauce that I'm pretty sure was mayo/ketchup. They also put a little PR flag on top which my kids enjoyed playing with. This ended up being my main meal because I wasn't that hungry, and it was the perfect bite of crispy, salty, and creamy with the dipping sauce. We also tried another appetizer that I didn't try, alcapurria de carne, which comes with two rolls cut in half (husband enjoyed it) and the Assorted Pal Campo which comes with chicharon, fried yuca, chicharron de pollo, tostones, fried cheese topped with a sweet guava sauce (that my daughter was not a huge fan of - I would ask for it on the side next time), and sausage. Definitely a heavy meal - and I felt like I needed to eat salad for the next two days straight after this meal - but it was tasty. Next time I'll ask for a side of cucumbers or something to break up all of the fried elements, or order something that comes with slaw/veggies.
