I was only ordering from the pictures, on the menu, AND I asked for the vegetarian version. (It immediately became obvious that they had never made a vegetarian version before, substituting lardless pinto beans, for the meat. When I got home, I was amazed by the size of the spread I had captured! We had most of the so-very-fresh-and-delicious taco salads. Tonight, we had what was left of the taco salads and one taco each. Tomorrow, we will finish this absolutely awesome Mexican Meal!!! I'm hooked! Taco Boss it is!!!!! I just wanted to add that, while I have lived near Maiden NC for 51 years, my first eighteen were spent in California, where there are huge orchards of avocados all over. We had an avocado tree next door. I know fresh, tasty avocado, Taco Boss has extremely fresh ingredients, as any top restaurant chef would demand.

The breakfast sandwiches were really good, but lunch stole the show. While everything was ridiculously good, the jerk chicken and fried ravioli stole the show. Apparently I wasn't the only one. I got out and got in line behind a couple in a golf cart and after a few minutes the end of the line pisition was assumed by a kid on a bike. The people who worked there were very nice but with the language barrier I couldn't tell if there margaritas were made from scratch or from a mix so I didn't order one although I was impressed one could receive alcohol to go. When you combine the words homemade and ice cream - I have to try it. Although the flavor selections are limited to around 8-10, the quality is very good. Of course my kids tried Birthday Cake and Chocolate Fudge and reported them delicious. My mother had butter pecan - the pecans were toasted and the base had a nice creamy, buttery texture - the color was a beautiful golden. The pineapple ice cream was very refreshing and had a pleasant iciness to its texture. The four of us had ice cream for $12 - I think that was a great deal! Really nice owner who is great with kids.
