Can we leave our phone number so you can call us when a non-reserved table opens up? We waited about 30 minutes, and my friend eventually had to call the restaurant back. They said they had called her, but the number was disconnected. So either she gave them the wrong number, they typed it in wrong, or they wrote it down wrong. We arrived ASAP since her house was right next to the restaurant, and we were seated right away. The male host brought out bread. The couple next to us was actually upset because they had been there longer than us and still hadn't gotten any bread. They did get their cheese and butter before we did, though. We asked our waitress for butter and cheese. She nodded but never brought it. Eventually, one of the runners stopped by our table and asked if we wanted some, and that's when we finally got it. I feel like Lucrezia wants to be fancy, but the team doesn't really have their jobs in order. Maybe bringing out the cheese wasn't our server's job, and that's fine, but she didn't communicate with anyone or make sure we got it. There was just no communication. Our server also just wasn't very attentive. I feel like being a waitress is more than just bringing food out. You should be checking on your table and making sure things are taken care of, especially when you're already aware that something hasn't been brought out. The food was really good, but the service was just so bad. She eventually brought us a dessert menu, and I was actually interested because everything looked really good. But we'd already waited so long for our food, and then she dropped off the dessert menu and didn't come back for another ten minutes. At that point, I didn't want to wait even longer for dessert, so we just left. Overall, the food was good, but the service and communication really took away from the experience. Also when we were paying, I paid with cash. I feel like servers should know to give back tippable change. I got a $20 bill back. I was not about to tip $20, which was way over 20%, on below par service.
