They do serve sweet tea but it's not my first rodeo in Indiana so I brought my own. I really don't know how the sweet tea was but it was brewed there so it probably was good but not sweet enough for my Alabama blood. I debated between a 3 and a 4 star. OVER an hour later our breakfast arrived (YES 1 HOUR!) Our eggs were cold and the potatoes weren't cooked through. I stopped the waitress and explained the eggs were cold and potatoes weren't cook all the way.. she just looked at me then finally asked if I wanted them made again. I said yes and 20 minutes later the eggs arrived, another 10 minutes for potatoes. This is one of the times our drive to find a good "hole in the wall" breakfast didn't work out. So disappointing!

Despite the environment being as expected--fun and engaging--I was asked to leave along with my guests because a bartender coming on shift couldn't get along with the patrons. This was really disappointing, especially when you're someone who supports the establishment regularly. Tippy's is located conveniently in downtown Winamac and off Hwy 35. The place is very roomy and modern. There are a lot of pizzas to choose from. My wife and I went with the Hawaiian Cardinal that has BBQ chicken, pineapple, ham, and a balsamic vinegar based BBQ sauce. The best part...a 12 inch was only about $16 for my wife and me. That's hard to beat! I'm from Alabama and sweet tea is hard to come by in Indiana. Tippy's had fresh-brewed sweet tea in the house. It wasn't my first rodeo so I asked the waitress if I could try it. I'm glad she let me sample it because the tea was closer to unsweet and tasted almost rurnt or ruined. So stay away from the sweet tea. Give Tippy's a try if you are going through Winamac for all the pizza choices.
