Prices are very reasonable. The food comes out quickly. The tortillas are thick with great fresh corn flavor. The tacos were delicious with perfectly ripe buttery avocado, fresh cilantro and onion. The sauces added great spice. The pico was FRESH and delicious. I loved my lunch. So good. The chips are fresh without a bunch of salt. They have a small grocery. There is limited parking. The Taco Shoppe is a carry-out only and has no inside seating at all. In fact, there's no "inside" of the business. You order from one window and pick up your food from another. There's a handful of picnic tables in the lot next door, but that's it. So what's the secret??? Tough to describe. First of all, the soft shell corn tortillas are flash fried, maybe?!? Whatever they do to them, they are delicious. Their ground beef is also kind of a mystery. It's unlike any beef taco I've had before, and my fat ass has had PLENTY of tacos in my 52 years. And it's one of the best Horchata flavors I've had in quite a while. The girl actually scooped it from a large 5 gallon tub. You can tell it's authentic that way. My burrito (steak) was really good, but the steak was not distributed evenly. Half the burrito was lacking meat and the other half was a plethora of meat. Not complaining though; just an observation.
