Will never go there again after tonight !!! My husband just started eating his Gordita and found what we believe to be a piece of a machine. My husband bit into it and hurt his tooth right away, thank God it didn't break. We are 50.. Eat there at your own risk

Friendly staff and good food! The food could be a little more spicy (flavorful) but the great staff makes up for it

Great all around. I love the salsa and chips before the main meal comes. The flautas are to die for!

If you are looking for something more like a family restaurant, far removed from the tourist areas in almost any Mexican city or town, then you have found the right place. The place is clean. The chairs, tables and booths mismatched and well used but serviceable. The menus photocopied. The lighting is a little harsh. There's the compulsory photo of the Pope and the Madonna hanging in the corner. All of this and great food combine to make this my go to place for authentic Mexican cooking. I just sat down for a carry it dinner of 3 tacos pastor ($7.95 - Mexican style with cilantro, onion and tomato, thank you) some very good rice and the best beans I have had since I moved here from Chicago in 2005. I wish I could have shown you but I thought about pictures after I ate ... the smell was driving me wild! If your looking for real, authentic, family cooked food ... Get off of I-65 at exit 215, drive about 3 miles East to the stop sign, turn left and look for the orange building on the right. You won't be sorry. I'm thinking about going back again tomorrow!

We never had to wait for refills of drinks or chips. Our meals were delicious. A Culinary Catastrophe…read more After a blissful 10-year hiatus from Hacienda--because my last meal there nearly traumatized me--I decided to give it another whirl. Big mistake. Huge. Turns out, in a decade, the only thing that's changed is my tolerance for culinary crimes. I ordered the "wet burrito," which was about as wet as the Sahara at high noon. Normally, "wet" implies sauce, right? Silly me. Instead, I got a sad tortilla with cheese desperately clinging to it like it knew it was part of something deeply wrong. The burrito itself had some heft, which, in hindsight, must've been the sheer weight of disappointment. One bite in, and my taste buds staged a full-blown rebellion. I'm still not entirely sure what meat-like substance was inside, but after 60+ years of eating everything from gas station hot dogs to questionable fair food, I can say with confidence: I have never experienced something so vile it made me question my will to live. The sour cream--an extra $1.19 of regret--arrived in a state best described as "melted sadness," watery enough to mop floors with and tasting like it had turned sometime during the Bush administration. The guacamole? A salty green paste with the distinct vibe of something scraped off a sea rock, and the white cheese dip and refried beans were both so oversalted they could've cured a side of pork. Now, don't get me wrong, I love salt. But this meal's sodium levels would make a salt lick blush. I'm honestly considering sending a sample to a lab to confirm it hasn't surpassed FDA limits. As for the mystery meat? Let's just say I wouldn't feed it to stray raccoons for fear of violating animal cruelty laws. And yes, I will be double-securing my trash can tonight because I don't want any innocent wildlife stumbling across this culinary abomination and dropping dead in my yard. Hacienda, thanks for the memories--specifically, the one of me scraping this monstrosity into the trash while gagging.

Rios Mexican Grill is one of those hidden gems you're so happy to stumble upon on a nice summer…read moreday. It's essentially a roadside taco stand, but don't let that fool you - the food is incredibly fresh and full of flavor. It feels very local and family-run, which adds to the charm. We visited last August during a family trip, and the fact that my mom, who usually avoids roadside food spots, was the one who recommended it says everything. We were honestly shocked (in the best way). Ordering is simple: you place your order, get a number, and wait for your food. There are benches available for seating, though no bathrooms, so it's good to plan accordingly. We ordered a variety of items - tacos, burritos, quesadillas, chips with salsa, and Jarritos, and were happy with everything. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted fresh, and everything was well-prepared. I even enjoyed some leftovers the next day! If you're looking for delicious, no-frills Mexican food from a local spot, Rios Mexican Grill is definitely worth checking out.

You order at the counter or a kiosk, they hand you an in-house pager and when it flashes, you get your food....and for this they guilt you for a tip at the time of payment... On top of that, there is no fountain drinks, you fetch your own out of a cooler. I ordered a steak burrito and my wife ordered the taco bowl. Again, had to get your own utensils from the counter. After I took the foil off the burrito, it immediately began to un-wrap and fall apart into the foil...(for that I could have ordered the burrito bowl)....was very difficult to eat. The taco bowl was just ok. Bottom line, the food was far short of great....mediocre at best. Sorry, won't be coming back.
