We came here for a family gathering and had an overall great experience!! There's plenty of parking out front (with a 2-hour limit), which was convenient. One thing to note; there's only one unisex bathroom on the first floor, which wasn't quite enough for the number of guests that day. There is another restroom upstairs, but it may not be ideal for those with mobility concerns. The wait staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to answer our questions since it was our first time dining here. The owner also made a point to visit every table, which added a warm, personal touch. The food truly stood out; comforting Italian dishes that reminded us of meals we enjoyed in Italy. Portions were just right, with a great balance of pasta and ingredients. The stuffed eggplant was a highlight; perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The Pizza Bianco was another favorite, generously topped with artichoke hearts. A few minor notes: the calamari was slightly overcooked, and while the Shrimp Scampi with Capellini Aglio Olio was flavorful and well-seasoned, the pasta was a bit on the dry side for my preference. Some of the shrimp were slightly overcooked as well, but it didn't take away from the overall taste as it was still very enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. A cool little spot in the quaint downtown of La Porte. Went on a Tuesday night for a business dinner. Plenty of street parking. We were seated immediately and the server greeted us pretty quickly. He may have been new as he seemed uncertain with some of our menu questions. They have an arrabbiata sauce and I was able to get that on the margherita pizza. It was amazing. Dough and sauce are house made. For apps, we got the calamari and baked Asiago. Both were excellent. Their espresso martinis are legit - served with espresso and 3 beans. Just a great place to eat Italian food. Super Family Owned Vibe... excellent Italian food... pleasant and professional service... We were greeted by the owner, who was quite nice and pitching in on anything needed to make the most of the meal for everyone. We did the meal for two which is an easy choice. We had a house salad, then the Baked Mushroom Ravioli and a Margarita Pizzia, plus their bread with olive oil and shredded cheese... topped off with a Tiramasu. We had a bottle of wine that was nice and reasonably priced. Our server was a very pleasant 19 year old young lady named Reagan. We left her a 100% tip for taking great care of us on my wife's birthday. Great experience. read more

Service is always excellent and the restaurant is really cozy with twinkly lights and a fireplace. But the most amazing part is the scrumptious food. Husby gets spaghetti & meatballs every time. My daughter took her boyfriend there for dinner on Friday night. She called and made a reservation for 6:30pm. She said the waitress was very rude, not friendly and very short with them. Put their drinks down walked away, brought food and out plates down very rudely. They felt it was because they were young "18" and she prob figured they would not tip her. Brought the bill and they asked for a piece of tiramisu to go. After leaving she looked in the bag and the tiramisu was not in there. They were almost home and called back, and no one answered the phone. This was their first time there, after listening to the hype from me and friends regarding Enzo's needless to say, they are very disappointed, they did leave her a tip and sadly have no desire to go back. She also said the owner walked around to every table, asking people how everything was and chatting with them and never came to their table. I was very shocked with this so maybe do better next time even if your customers are young doesn't mean they won't leave you a tip or don't expect the same service that you give your regular customers. read more

We were here 2 years ago when in town and loved it so much we came 2 nights in a row. Cute ambiance, very relaxed. This time we had a caprese salad for a starter and then the orrechiette pasta, chicken piccata and crab stuffed shrimp. Everything was delicious! I'm but an Italian martini which was yummy. This was the first time we experienced Trattoria Enzo following a recommendation from a friend. It did NOT disappoint! The food there is authentic Italian - minestrone soup made like my mom made. Our party of 4 ordered the Shrimp Rigatoni , Chicken Parmesan and the Risotto of the day and each of us loved our entrees! Greeted with a smile, the hostess seated us promptly. We read the menu as we sipped our waters. I ordered orecchiette pasta with peas and prosciutto. Hubs got spaghetti with 3 meatballs. We were served a plate of fresh bread, butter, and dipping oil. The bread was so tasty I are it without butter or oil. We were served our meals and as usual,Enzo's did not disappoint. My husband and I are on our way to Chicago for a wedding, and we decided to space out our traveling by stopping in LaPorte. I had seen an article about this restaurant, and decided to give it a try. We didn't have reservations, but thought getting there five minutes after opening would make it easy to get in. We did get a table, and so did the other eleven parties that came before us! We were treated very warmly, and our waitress was great! We decided to get "A Dinner for Two", I think they called it, which consisted of a salad, pizza, pasta, and dessert. It all was fabulous, and we almost ate all of it! I highly recommend this restaurant. Besides feeling welcome, having a great waitress, and great food, the price was very reasonable! Second time through town and our second stop at Enzo. Bruschetta is good to start. Salad with balsamic is very solid. I have had both the pizza and the classic spaghetti and they were outstanding. The food was excellent every time and came out quicker than expected even when they were busy. The food is always hot and fresh. Every time we are in or near La Porte, my husband and I try to stop by Enzo. Our favorite day is the spinach and roasted garlic ravioli in cream sauce - it's absolutely delectable! We also love getting the carrot cake when it's available or the chocolate mousse for dessert. Most recently, I tried the Italian margatini on the advice of my server, and it was delicious. It arrived barely warm!! We both had to send it back to the kitchen to re-heat! They offered us one dessert to share for the 3 of us! At that point, I was too upset to eat their meager offer! Checked this place out for dinner tonight. Nice ambiance with dim lighting and beautifully lit trees throughout. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We were seated within minutes. We got complementary bread with butter and olive oil with fresh grated Parmesan cheese. I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and we tried the tortellini marinara. It was really delicious! The pasta was in a marinara and an Alfredo sauce. For dessert we had cannolis that were divine! He only issue I had was how expensive it was to add grilled chicken to my salad. 6 dollars and it wasn't anything special. The cannoli was really large so I suggest splitting it as none of us were able to finish them. While I didn't get to try the scallops (I'm on a budget this trip), I overheard a family RAVING about them. Will be back to try them out read more

Oh I loved this place! I only went in for lunch but service was on point and we received our entrees in no time. I ordered the zucchini and sausage pizza, without red peppers, and it was the perfect portion for lunch. It also came with a house salad that had the most excellent house balsamic dressing. Sorry for the bad pic, but I ate everything so fast. My friend had the sausage and peppers sandwich and it came with French fries. It was so delicious and marinara was so fresh.
