The people, the energy, and the overall vibe are amazing again. Most importantly the food has been fantastic. The pizzas have that quality and flavor that made us love this place from the beginning. After being disappointed for a while it's genuinely great to come back and feel excited about this place again. And for anyone complaining that the pizza takes too long, remember these are handmade, brick oven pizzas. This isn't fast food. Good pizza takes time, and in my opinion the quality is absolutely worth the wait. So glad to see HopTown back to feeling like HopTown. If you haven't been in lately, give them another shot. We're definitely happy we did.

I recently heard that Kacey is leaving Hoptown Pizza in Wapato, WA. As a frequent customer when in…read moretown I'm appalled. I realize she's chosen to leave, but I believe it's because she has been undervalued and underappreciated. Her management, her appreciation of customers, and her delicious soups and menu items have kept regulars coming back week after week, and out of towners making the trip to enjoy her creations. If you want to keep good people, you need to appreciate what they contribute to your business. Hoptown's loss will be someone else's gain. Shame on Hoptown management for not keeping someone who cares about it's clientele and works to ensure customers come back, over and over. Be well Kacey. I hope you find a restaurant that will appreciate your skills!

Taking orders, making food, boxing to go orders and dropping off when prepared. You can imagine this delayed the process. So 25 min to get my wings and another 5 for the pizza. The kid was calm, cool and collected; so he had it all under control, but it was just too slow to be a one man operation with a limited menu. Food: This is just shameful. You have wood burning oven and you are putting out thick crusted, no taste pies! The sausage was frozen brought in, no better than any other chain or competitor. The saddest part was the crust: way too think to properly cook in such an oven. Then we move to wings. Chicken or pigeon? Could be eithe, since they were so small. Tossed in a nice sauce, but cooked in the oven as well? Overall: I gave it a shot. Prices are fair for the pizza. Pizza is better than MOD, but not a truly authentically prepared wood fire pizza. Fix the prep, add staff and some fresh ingredients! You can't buy fresh sausage at the local market?

My wife and I have driven past this place for years--16 to be exact--and finally decided to stop in…read moreafter some of her coworkers recommended it. I'd always been curious about the name (turns out it's actually named after a Led Zeppelin song, which is awesome). Right away, the vibe was super chill and welcoming. They've got cocktails here too, not just beer, and I've got to say--the "Bad Santa" was incredible. Basically an adult hot cocoa, and easily one of the best things I've had in a while. Their blonde was a little hoppier than expected (in a good way), and the blueberry beer was really smooth and flavorful. But the real showstopper here is the pizza. These aren't your average bar pizzas--they're handmade, beautifully done, and full of flavor. You really have to see or taste them to understand how much love goes into making them. And the prices? Totally reasonable for how good they are. After all these years of driving by, I can't believe we waited this long to check it out. Great drinks, amazing pizza, and a cool atmosphere--we'll definitely be back.
