I'm a pizza enthusiast who's eaten at just about every pizza place in Upper Kittitas County. Miners…read moreis easily one of my favorites. I never accept payment for reviews, and I wait until I've visited several times before writing one because a single visit doesn't always represent a business fairly. This review comes after roughly 10 visits. Size The family pizza is enormous. It barely fits in our oven as a take-and-bake, but Miners also offers ready-to-eat pizzas if that's easier. Ours had 12 large slices, plenty for two adults and two young kids. Value Our meal averaged about $16 per person after tax, including a family pizza and garlic cheese bread. Compared with other local pizza, Miners is typically $2 to $6 cheaper while delivering excellent quality. Take-and-Bake Tip Every oven is different. If your pizza seems floppy, especially in the center, it probably needs a few more minutes. I look for browned cheese and what I call the pizza's "heartbeat," the gentle bubbling motion across the top. Once you see that, the crust is usually right where it should be. Flavor The pizza strikes a great balance. The sauce is flavorful and slightly zesty without overpowering the toppings, and the fresh ingredients really stand out. The crust isn't buried under butter or salt. The take-and-bake has a thinner, crispier crust, while the ready-to-eat version has a firmer crust that reminds me of New York style. If the take-and-bake crust isn't your favorite, definitely try a fresh slice. The toppings are well balanced. This isn't Chicago-style loaded with pounds of toppings, but it's far from skimpy. Everything feels proportioned just right. Recommendation If you like taco pizza, don't skip theirs. My wife is incredibly picky about taco pizza, and this is the only one she'll eat anywhere in Washington. Desserts The desserts are fantastic. We've tried cookies, cheesecake brownies, and several other treats, and they've all been excellent. They also make custom cakes for special occasions. Atmosphere The shop is cozy and celebrates Roslyn's mining history. There's a small dining area, a window bar for people-watching, and a little arcade room. It's especially fun during festivals and community events. Staff The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Ashley, the owner, is often working alongside her team and genuinely cares about customers. If something isn't right, they'll make it right. Community This place feels like a true small-town gathering spot. It seems like every visit includes someone running into friends and catching up. Bonus Miners also offers catering and, through a partnership, has a limited selection of pizzas available at the new arcade in Roslyn. If you're looking for some of the best pizza in Upper Kittitas County, Miners absolutely deserves a visit.

This is a great spot to catch a sporting event with several TVs. I like that they offer a smaller 10" pizza as well. Tried to order the "black garlic pepperoni" pizza with a ranch sauce but they were out of it. Ordered the "hot honey" pepperoni pizza. When the pizza came the server informed me they were out of that too and brought the sweet pepperoni instead. Pizza was loaded with toppings, very generous. It was also cooked to perfection. The crust on the pizza was just ok though. Also orders the hot cookie and ice cream. Server did a great job of bringing it right as I was finishing the pizza. The cookie was not fresh baked though. It was an older cookie warmed up again. The ice cream was SOFT SERVE and not great ice cream: pretty reasonable prices though and the service was good.

I look it the reviews, and the photos, and she said yasss please. Mom too. I got to tell you I got a lot of pizza reviews from the Canadian border to the California border and everywhere in between, all up and down 1-5 and across I-84. This is in my top 5. The photos I saw show this humongous crust and I thought I'd be giving it mostly to my three dogs we were traveling with. Nope. Nice and thin. Great chew. Folded like the ones I get in NYC. Really fresh ingredients. Super friendly staff. Don't know how I missed his place over the many years I took this route but that won't be the case going forward. Boardman?? There's not a lot there but you got to try the pizzas at this place. They got one for every taste. The side salad was incredible with totally fresh ingredients and cashews. I don't know if we would ever find ourselves in this area of Oregon again but if we did, we might come back to try the pizza.

Service was crazy awesome with a one man show doing the ordering, serving and following up. This place isn't huge inside. You order at the counter but you do get service once the pizza is delivered. We got our pizza but can't remember the name. It had jalapeños on it and it was so delicious. The only compliant I have was that they don't give you plates, only paper to eat it off. I had my 89 year old mother with us and she has to have her pizza cut. When cutting the paper cut through but other than that we will look forward to coming back... maybe bring out own paper plates, lol.

Gluten free / dairy free review:…read more Village Pizza isn't just a pizza place, it's a safe haven for those of us who want to live dangerously without actually risking gluten or dairy-induced chaos. I ordered the gluten-free pizza, my daughter went full double-dare with gluten- and dairy-free, and guess what? Both were delicious. No cardboard crust here , just actual flavor, actual texture, and the smug satisfaction of eating pizza and feeling fine afterward. Plus, the person helping us was genuinely kind, the kind of very refreshing. They were understanding and kind. 5 out of 5 stars for the pizza, and an extra bonus star for being located in Roslyn, where you can pretend you're an extra in Northern Exposure while you chew. It's cozy inside to me. If I lived close I would be there all the time! Thank you village Pizza for accommodating allergies and doing it with kindness and deliciousness.
