First time ever eating at Papa Murphy's. Since I'm on the low tyramine diet I can't have gluten, bacon, or any kind of cheese besides mozzarella (plus a million other things). I decided to get the no crust chicken bacon artichoke tray. I asked for no bacon or parm, only chicken. I didn't end up cooking it until about an hour later. It wasn't until it was out of the oven that I realized they had not only omitted the parm and bacon, but also the chicken. Focus was alwaya customer service amd quality. These days...price for a Family pizza is As much as a COOKED pizza from Michael's or David's! Ordered a family 5meat stuffed. The lady rang me up, acted tired. Took about 15min to make my 5meat and a LgChicken garlic. When i got them...i had to really question if they made me Family! Dough was not stretched to the edge...OVER braided. So sloppy. Toppings were so center loaded. Got home and had to stretch it out properly and make sure toppings were spread even so it can cook right. So normally I love papa Murphy's but I never come in and order my self. Today I came in with my my boyfriend and asked the guy at the counter "Jason" what the specials were. It's a Tuesday so it's any large pizza. Seems simple until you look at their menu and then you want to create your own, so we're asking Jason how that works bc im a little confused the pizzas say $12 but the topping underneath say $1.50 so I again have to elaborate and continue asking Jason so how does that work? Is it just the pizza then the toppings are extra ? or are we allowed up to a certain amount before we're charged extra. So he says we can pick 5 toppings. Cool. Then we're trying to order and he's obviously annoyed w us laughing and having an attitude right in our face. My only concern was on today's visit, the place did not look clean. The ceiling light fixtures and fans are covered in dust as ish ceiling air vents for the heating system. The two little girls working at the Stockton location in Weston ranch on July 8,2020 pick up was around 3:00 pm they messed up my order. Well done Guys! My son is a Celiac and needed a gluten free pizza without cross contamination. As it was not the dinner rush, around 4pm, the pizza maker willingly went through the process to make a truly gluten free, Celiac friendly pizza....washed counter in back area not used for making pizzas, used clean utensils and gloves, opened new bags of sauce and toppings, of course used gluten free dough, AND invited my husband to come back and watch the whole process! When the manager stopped by and asked what was happening, he happily supported his employee after an explanation. End result, my son had a delicious pizza dinner without getting sick! Great job! Well all Papa Murphys are pretty straight forward...I don't expect the moon....tonight this one ran out of mini murphs. Not one employee in there felt secure enough in their job to cut a small or medium sized pizza down to the mini size. They refused to fill our order because they didn't have pizza dough at the right size even though "all they do is make fresh pizza." They forced me too but a medium. It takes a Shitty store managerto make employees feel that insecure. It takes weak workers to not Just do the right thing...they'll throw away twice that much Dough tonight. Tuesday, my husband ordered and paid for a pizza for pickup at 5:15pm which I planned to pick up on my way home. I arrived a few minutes early, hoping it would be waiting for me but recognizing that it might be at the time we ordered. The woman making the pizzas did not have my pizza order and told me the manager would be back in a few minutes to help. After waiting 20 minutes, there was no sign of the manager, so I called my husband, who does not have a cell phone - yes there are still people who live quite well without that device, hoping he was home. He answered the phone and I asked him to check the the order for any numbers. While having this discussion, I realized a new person was behind the counter so I asked if he was the manager. He barely replied, was dashing to put together a pizza order, which was mine, and he pushed it towards me with a barely audible, "sorry".
