Our family had fish tacos and chimay beer, fish and chips orale beer, and beet salad with coke. My fish on the tacos were perfectly lightly battered and probably better than home (Tucson). My husband fish and chips, we're outstanding. His beer battered fish was on point, Tarter sauce so good and fries you couldn't stop eating. I stole at least half. My daughter loved her beet salad with fresh homemade ricotta. If in Oakhurst stop here. It will not disappoint.

I think I'd personally prefer an actually patty so I can get medium instead of smashed which is more medium-well or well done. The smash fries were also good. Partner said the fried ended up getting pretty soggy since a lot of sauce ended up on the bottom. I personally liked them. Ingredients all tasted fresh. Odd thing to stand out, but the Coke here was so good. It's rare to get a really good Coke now and days, but this was perfect. Server was good and friendly. The space is very bar like and a little dark for my liking, but hey that's me. Still will come by after every trip here:) thank you for the fresh ingredients and friendliness.

Avoid ordering online -- very strange experience…read more We were on vacation and needed a pizza place that could accommodate a large group, so we decided to give this place a try. I went to their website, placed an order, and paid online. Shortly after, I received a text saying DoorDash would be delivering my order. Then I got a call from the DoorDash driver saying they had arrived at the restaurant, but the restaurant was claiming they didn't have a website and didn't have my order. The charge on my credit card showed the business name, so the whole situation was extremely confusing. I ended up having to cancel the charge with my credit card company, and since we had a large group with limited options, we had to go inside and place an order directly. Walking in, the place had a very strange vibe. It almost felt like a restaurant that was not fully set up or had recently changed ownership. It was very bare, there were no napkins in the holders, and the arcade area was completely empty except for a couch. The whole atmosphere felt off. Unfortunately, the pizza itself was not good either. I'm not sure what happened with this place, whether it recently changed hands or something else, but based on our experience, I would recommend staying away.

We walked into a nearly empty restaurant, with no one in the front to take our order. There's a bell to indicate your arrival and that you are ready to order. The place is spacious and the pizza smells delicious. We opted for garlic bread and a pepperoni and bell pepper pizza. The wait was very very long. I noticed that the estimated times that myself and other customers were provided were inaccurate. Our pizza was ready first, but it was way too hot to eat for a while. We were also given garlic cheesy bread instead of what we ordered, just garlic bread. Both were good and we had plenty of leftovers. However, the wait time was extremely long. There's plenty of parking in the area and there is indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend ordering ahead of time if possible.

Service was decent, and the ambiance was nice, but overall the experience was just okay. The Peruvian pretzel was actually pretty darn good and probably one of the highlights of the meal. The biggest disappointment, and the main reason I'm giving three stars, was the oysters. If I could rate the oysters separately, I would give them zero stars. They were probably some of the worst-tasting oysters I've ever had. They tasted extremely fishy and did not seem fresh at all. We ordered a dozen and definitely regretted ordering that many. The dipping sauce that came with them was very good, but for the price this restaurant charges, the oysters should absolutely taste fresh. I also would not recommend the mac and cheese. It looked more like something that came out of a box than freshly made restaurant mac and cheese. If you're ordering for kids, I'd probably choose the pasta with tomato sauce instead. There were some good things about the meal, especially the pretzel and the atmosphere, but between the oysters, the mac and cheese, the long wait for food, and the prices, three stars feels fair.

We ordered seven dishes, and everything arrived freshly cooked and flavorful. Most of the dishes were well-prepared and delicious. My only problem are that the steamed rice was slightly undercooked, the walnut shrimp had a breading that was a bit too hard and seemed over-fried, and the Mongolian beef was cut into very small pieces, making it difficult to appreciate the beef since the onions were more prominent. Our favorite dishes were the seafood tofu soup and the sweet and sour fish fillet. Both were perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. Despite a few minor issues, the overall dining experience was very good. If you're looking for Chinese food in the Oakhurst/Yosemite area, I would still highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.
