I have read many reviews online, and happened to be in the area around dinner time on a Saturday evening. We showed up at the right time, it wasn't quite packed yet. After we sat, a lot of locals started packing, in, and out. Even though they were so busy, the service didn't lack one bit. The women were on top of their game, and we had excellent service. The pizza was delicious, and had an amazing crust. I think we had the Benny's combo with pineapple added, and no onion on half. I took pics, but only after slices were taken. The Greek salad, on the side that we ordered, with Italian Dressing was very very good, compared that with the Olive Garden, which was full of sliced olives and large sections of Artichokes & tomatoes slices even cherry tomatoes thrown into the salad, was a surprise. We did have to ask for plates, for and utensils for our food, though. The restroom could do some improvement. The fire by our bench, was warm, cozy & inviting. The staff were very friendly.

They tasted frozen, and I suspect they are because when I went here for the first time I tried to order them and the guy taking my order said they "haven't gotten any in in a while" which told me they don't make them in-house. They had a weird aftertaste and the breading was too dry. I had the garlic knots last time and they were great, so I think I would stick with those in the future. The pizzas were fantastic! They were piping hot and we had to let them cool before we could eat. The sauce to toppings to cheese to dough ratio was spot on and the pizzas were cooked well. The dough wasn't chewy or crunchy, it was perfect. The pizzas alone are five stars! One thing to note: you do grab your own plates and napkins, and you bus your dishes when you're done. An older couple left their dishes on the table and walked past the bussing station and tbh I'm holding a grudge against those two strangers because of it. Just clean up after yourself, it's not that hard! The only thing that I really didn't like was the excessive use of AI art. The advertisements and menu both had AI art using the typical AI style, not even trying to hide it. In an age where marketing materials can be created by even the most inexperienced people easily and for free on Canva, Adobe Express, and other similar sites, there is simply no excuse for using environment-destroying AI slop in a business setting. It was incredibly disappointing to see such an otherwise nice small business use AI when there are so many artists in the area who would jump at a chance to create art for them. I know I'll get a reply from the owner on this, and I just want to reiterate for those who actually read this: there is *no* excuse for using AI art. These people clearly know pizza. They make a great pie and have a lot of unique flavor combinations! I'll have to stand by my morals and take my money to another small local restaurant that doesn't use AI art, but if they have a change of heart here I will gladly, and rather enthusiastically, return.

I drove in to check the roads and what the heck, get a pizza since they were open. Most of the other businesses were closed. I placed my order for a couple of pizzas to take home and cook as we got our power back. They asked if I was okay if they prioritize the phone in orders for those with no power at home. That really made me proud of this local shop, you go right ahead! The two staff had considered closing like the other shops due to the winter ice storm, but stayed open instead to cook pizzas in between their power outages. It would go out for a few minutes, then back on, but they were able to stick it out and help the locals. Figaro's, you ROCK!
