First of all I should mention the store was dirty, therefore it makes me wonder what the back looks like. The service was horrible and the pizza we ordered tasted sour. I just happened to look to the other side of the counter and they had dough sitting on the counter, not refrigerated or covered. Right out in front for a host of problems that can occur. Customer to customer germs, customer to staff behind the counter germs, etc. I asked a staff member why they put the dough on the rack and she said it's to let the dough rise! Can't the dough rise in the back somewhere else? Away from germs? It makes sense why we all got sick off the pizza we ordered. The dough was sour and that's what we expect made us all sick. I most definitely don't recommend Papa Murphy's. I'm not sure if all of the stores do their dough like that, but it's a breeding ground for someone to get sick like we did. read more

I enjoy a majority of the pizzas I've had there. However, today, was not a good pizza day. I have been craving a taco pizza and got excited to try the beef Taco grande pizza. My husband and I will NOT be eating this again. Even having light sauce, it left a nasty taste in our mouths and upset our stomachs. We ordered half a papa murphys no meat. They messed it up then told us there is nothing they can do unless we being the pizza we just cooked back. Ordered online, not ready when I arrived, lobby completely empty, no one at the counter. When someone noticed me several minutes later, I was told, my order wasn't started because they were so busy in the first half hour they were open and their policy was to not start orders until customers arrive, (although their website states otherwise). As the order was being made, incorrect ingredients were being added and when I commented, the employee was openly frustrated, rolling her eyes and snorting. Multiple exchanges were offered as if I were an inconvenience to whatever I had taken her away from in the back of the restaurant. Customer service not a priority here. read more

The positive: Papa Murphy's pizza is always awesome AND a great deal. Also, once in store, everyone is happy and working hard. Possibly a bad thing because with few other options, I will go there even when the service is not great. Also, They have an AMAZING offer right now, a large Chicken Mediterranean pizza for $7. I had a coupon saying the same thing, lost it, went on line, it's also the on-line special. BUT, on-line did not give the discount on my first try, i went all the way up to putting in a credit card and no discount appeared. I call to see if they will honor it since on line was not working, even offered to bring my device with me so I could show them that it was not working. I call and ALL the guy heard was, "I lost the coupon" and kept telling me: no coupon, no discount. I was so sorry that I found the on-line offer because i lost the coupon. After repeatedly telling this kid (Jeremiah) that the issue was not that I lost the coupon, but the on-line system. He then tells me that he is not familiar with how the on-line "thing" works, if it doesn't come up, there's nothing they can do about it. He says that on-line is a corporate thing and I lost the coupon so he can't help me, then paused like that is the end of the story. I ask for the manager. Sunny the "acting manager?" comes on and proceeds to tell me that she has been told before that the online system sometimes doesn't work and to try puitting credit card information First, then the discount should appear after and if it did not, they are aware of the online offer in store and can adjust the payment. That probably did not warrant a bad review. I simply started over a third time and the discount popped up, not $7 but $9, but at that point, I was happy. BTW, it was before I was asked for my credit card info, just like the on-line system says. Once the credit card is accepted, your order is done. You do have to enter your name and phone number first and hit next, but well before you are required to type in payment. I thank her and let her know that the previous rep had told me there was nothing they could do about it. She then proceeds to talk over me for about a minute (telling me that he was probably thinking that the issue was a lost coupon.) She then asked me a question and continued telling me (taking right over me before I even answered the question)that he thought I lost a coupon and that's why, blah, blah, blah. I tried one last time to tell her that he finally did figure I was talking about the on-line coupon and she again just talked right over me like I was not even talking. Papa Murphy's pizza is always awesome and an economical deal. Also once you enter the store in JC, all the folks behind the counter are working very hard and are very cordial. Always fast, very good tasting, and cheaper. Just recently I came in on the spur of the moment, and ordered a pizza. After a while the manager asked what pizza I ordered. She said the order got pushed back by accident and then insisted I take one of the add-on treats from the refrigerated case for the added time to get my order. This is just exceptional service. I actually live closer to Corvallis, but love Junction City so much that I went to the Papa's there. I totally recommend it. read more

For the money, I think this is the best pizza around. I recommend getting the thick crust, it's only a dollar more and makes the pizza substantially bigger. I only wish they offered anchovies as a topping. read more

We've been ordering from this Papa Murphy's for years, and I love having this option in JC. Always fast, very yummy, inexpensive, and I love that you can get exactly what you want. (You can even order online) I like lighter pizza so the thin crust (delite) is really nice. This was our first experience with Papa Murphy's and I must say we are very pleased. We were intrigued by the concept of ordering a pizza, and taking it home to cook. We were helped by Dorothy, the assistant manager, and she was fantastic. We are new in town, and we tried the other guys. We won't go there again, and we will be getting our pizza from Papa Murphy's from now on. Fresh ingredients, made to order, and what a deal!! Since we are new to the area, she gave us the online deal, and that made us buy two salads and a drink we really didn't intend to buy. This is the second time we took advantage of the 50% off offer if ordered online and they charged us full price. We're in the process of getting it resolved but our choices are getting another 1/2 off pizza or driving into town and getting a credit on our card. They should be able to credit our card without us making a special trip to town (we don't live in Junction City). We were told the Code we were given in the email offer was incorrect. What code should we use if not the one given? Our confirmation email gave the correct price. This is unfortunate because we do like their pizza, especially being able to bake it at home.
