What an experience! We've ordered pizza from Papa Murphy's for many years and have always had a positive experience. However, this particular order went poorly for whatever reason. We ordered two large pizzas and for some reason, the pizza on the bottom rack in my oven burned to a crisp. Not only did it completely burn up the paper tray, it also burned up the pizza. I think it will be a long long time before I order pizza from Papa Murphy's again. It has taken nearly a week to get the horrific smoke smell out of my house!!! read more

Been there dozens of times. Even with frequent staff turnover (HS kids) food quality is always consistent. Fast service and always courteous. During the recent Super Bowl Sunday, I was over at a friend's house and he suggested we get Papa Murphy's for pizza for the big game. Papa Murphy's? He said it's not that other "Papa-place" for pizza but freshly made to order pizzas you pick up and place in the oven at home. I was intrigued, and voted yes, let's try there. What a great concept! Their website states it is the "Take 'N' Bake Revolution" in getting take out pizza. We walked in and make our order from the menu, which has many appealing combinations in Thin Crust De-LITE, or Signature Pizza combos with original crust, and even Stuffed Pizzas. We went with the Meat DeLite one even though my friends said they usually get (and enjoy) the Chicken Bacon Artichoke one. We put in our order at the shop, walked next door to do some "Teetering" for the game, and came back to our ready-to-bake pizzas freshly made (they said it would take 5 minutes). It was quick and cheap. On their website they have many coupons with pretty good savings to make it even cheaper. I highly recommend going to their site www.papamurphys.com before getting your pizza for some savings. We came back and popped them in the oven. It tasted fresh and delicious, better than any take out or delivery pizza I can remember. Fresh makes a difference I guess! The thin crust was very thin and held solid when you picked up a slice (I hate it when you pick up a slice of pizza and it just flops!). The whole formula of fresh ingredients and the thin crust choice gave us a wonderful pizza, I'm sold on this type of pizza if you are not in a hurry for it. I would even think you can add more items at home and truly customize your pizza, nice option if you want to. Like I said, one of the best take out pizza experiences I can remember, and compared to other take out or delivery pizza, I give them my best. However, I gave it a shot and I am glad I did. I had cheese pizza and it was really good. This place has a large selection of any type of pizza. Just tried Papa Murphy's tonight. We have to order two pizzas since my son doesn't want those "yucky" ingredients anywhere near his pizza. My son has Asperger's so it can make life interesting! So I appreciated the coupon buy one and get one 50% off. He ordered the Large Papa's All Meat Original crust. (No veggies for him,,,) (He has several meals off his pizza) We ordered the Family Size Mediterranean herbed chicken pizza thin crust. They were both excellent! However, the Family Size is HUGE! We will be eating pizza for awhile. The large would have been plenty for the two of us. I just thought with thin crust and gourmet pizzas with a lot of pizza places that not that big. I was wrong. It was a pleasant experience, and I am kicking myself I haven't tried it sooner. It is so convenient to be able to get the pizza during the day during my errands and cook it when you are ready to eat it! If you've never tried papa Murphys your probably thinking why would I get pizza I have to cook myself. I thought the same thing but now it's one of our go-tos for quick and easy meals. The price is right and the pizza just seems fresher than any other chain. Try one of the chicken options on the thin crust for a lighter option but the favs versions are great for the kids and only $5! I'm not saying this is my favorite pizza place but papa Murphys definitely has a place in our Friday night take out rotation. read more

My favorite part was when the gentleman checking me out told me the total, I looked down at my coupons, started to rip off the applicable one and he said "I can cut those, and here, let's use this one AND this one. " What?! Stacking coupons?!? We tried Papa Murphy's last week and are THRILLED. Ingredients are fresh, the crust is amazing and the sauce is PERFECT. It is so easy to order online and pick it up. The (counter) service was great. The food, not so much. I tried their Chicago -style pizza. Whoever created it has never been to Chicago. Chicago-style pizza needs to be drowned in tomato sauce with chunky tomatoes. The crust needs to be melt-in-your mouth. They seemed to use the same crust and tomato sauce as their regular pizza and it just did not work.
