Used the online ordering platform to place a order for an employee appreciation lunch/delivery. The ease of ordering and surprising my co-worker was effortless. Kudos to this location! I called the day of delivery to confirm that the order was received, paid for and would be delivered near the time I selected. My coworker received his order and said the delivery person was friendly and her pizza was piping hot. Large variety of toppings and specialty pizzas. 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: 1. they don't offer Brooklyn style pizza. 2. they're a bit pricey for pizza. read more

We have been customers of this Papa Johns location for years. (Every Saturday). For both our personal and business needs. Most of the time, they are pretty consistent and the orders are correct and timely. Every once in awhile, we are disappointed in them. During one of our recent visits, it resulted in the order being short one pizza, out of three. Mistakes are going to happen, so it's not the end of the world. However, if something like this happens... it's always best to own up to the error, opposed to making up an excuse as to how the third pizza requires a little more time in the oven. Just apologize and tell the customer you made a mistake. I literally watched the person working the counter, walk up to a person making pizzas, whisper to him... then I watched the missing pizza get made and placed into the oven. 15 minutes later, the missing pizza, that "requires a little more time", was ready. LOL. (A+ for the effort of trying to cover up the mistake... but F, for getting caught ) They probably should have offered to comp. that pizza... but whatever) As far as the people working at this location... they are always friendly and polite. Seldom are they not busy and working at a fast pace. These people really know how to move lots of pizzas each hour!!! Overall... this is a well run location. Pizza is good, ingredients are fresh and the staff is friendly. Will definitely continue to support them. read more

Super disappointed. The picture shows it all. We asked for EXTRA cheese and there was only cheese on a small portion of the pizza by the crust. All the toppings ended up on the side of the box and not even on the pizza. We will never order from this Papa John's again! read more

We actually really love the pizza from here. We unfortunately ordered two medium pizzas and my fiancé took a bite into one of the peppers that come in your box of pizza... he bit into a worm!!! We called and were offered a free bread sticks. After my fiancé threw up , i called back and asked for either a refund or credit for the future... I was advised that due to them not being the ones who buy the peppers they will need a higher manger to approve.... I then advised them they buy those Peppers and put in their boxes of pizza so they should be held accountable. We were offered a credit or a full refund. read more

Weirdly enough we got a good pizza here....once! After a friend had ordered pizza here and it was good, we decided to give it a try ourselves. What a mistake. They are dumbfounded every time they deliver and we ask for crushed pepper and parm packets, ummm hello we specifically aske every lsingle time. The last time we order it took almost two hours to get. Tonight it came in a reasonable time, again requested the packets and the order taker said they would make sure the driver knew (yeah...ya didn't) to top it off, our pizza's arrived cold. I do not mean cold as in they sat for awhile out in the cold..cold. i mean it clearly wasn't cooked very long cold. We microwaved it....yuck. Absolute last freaking time we go there. I was not impressed at all by my delivery tonight. The food wasn't hot and didn't taste fresh. The pizza was fine other than being warm and not hot, I got the garlic twists which I normally love but this time they tasted old and were cold and had no garlic on them, I also got buffalo wings that as well tasted old and were cold and had very little sauce. Good pizza in a pinch! Pizza comes with marinara sauce and cheese... we added pepperoni, bacon, onions, mushrooms and pineapple. While there was light serving on the added ingredients, there was a sweet tasting dough probably from the excess of juice from the canned pineaple juice. We order from this location regularly, most of the time things are ok. We will not be ordering from the Syracuse store again. I planned ahead ordered hours before the scheduled delivery time. When it came time for the delivery nothing... we waited about 20 minutes before calling the store. I was disconnected the first two times I called. When I finally got Evelyn, I asked if the pizza was on the way, before she even asked my name she started making excuses as to why the pizza was not there. When she finally did ask my name and looked up my order, she said the pizza was on its way. I asked if it why it was so late if I planned ahead and put in a delivery time, she said that it really does not matter if you put in a time, their system does not put the orders on the screen so they can see in order who planned ahead. I asked, so people that may place and order later or call an order in would probably get their order first. She said probably. I asked who her manager was, it was Tina. I asked to talk to her her. I got who I though was Tina, same excuses, and was basically told they were too busy to be bothered. I asked for her manager/owners name she told me Tina. I said you are both named Tina? Nope.... I was talking to Riley. I asked Riley if I could talk with Tina, I was told no she was not working. Say What? Evelyn told me she was. I asked when Tina would be working again. I was told she did not know, maybe the next day. I asked why Evelyn told me she was working that night. Hmmmm. Then Riley told me Tina was working. I asked to talk to her. I was told she would call me back when she was not busy in a few hours. I said no, I want to talk to her now. I get Tina, she gave me the same excuses, it does not matter when you place the order and they are busy then hung up on me. By this time the pizza came, extremely later than requested. I called back, got Tina and informed her I was bringing the pizza back and wanted a refund. When I got the store, Tina told me she did not hang up on me, the phone came out of the wall. The phone was sitting on the counter. Horrible service! The crazy thing... if i could give this place a 0 stars i would.we order pizza online even tho we have had problems in the past. we order pizza well done from this place because if you dont ask for well done its like eating raw dough. i called after making my online order to ask if they would please cook the pizza well donr which the lady told me no problem. pizza takes a hour to delivered to me which is fine. open the pizzas up and they are more under cooked them even normal. i called the manager once again and this time i get a guy. i tell him the issue you and he tells me he cooked the pizza him self and that it was cook well done and pretty much tells me to go to hell. i would love to talk to the owners of this place. i will never spend a cent with this place again in my life. took everything i had to not go to this store and raise hell in person. read more

Ordered pizza. Got confirmation delivery would arrive 30 to 40 minutes. Hour goes by still no pizza so I call and they claim pizza left store 40 minutes ago and should arrive anytime. Another 30 minutes goes by still no pizza. Call again and spoke with a supervisor who was very ignorant and claimed they couldn't find the house and I needed to reorder. Really.
