This place has consistently failed to be on time and/or messed up the order. They deliver pizzas hours late and act like they have no control and don't really care. If the owner really cared, he would step in and fix the problem. Newburgh deserves better. read more

We walked in for our order. There is no pricing on the board for different sizes of pizza. The only price on the overhead board shows a variety of items, and it clearly states "2 for 6.99 each". They show a pizza of undetermined size, and breadsticks, and other items. We ordered a medium pizza with two toppings, and one order of breadsticks. The total was around $26. The receipt was not itemized, and when I asked the manager about the breakdown prices of the order, and pointed to the sign saying the "2 for $6.99 each", which would have made the order around $14.96, she said that was the online price. This is not stated anywhere on the sign, and she would not give me the refund on the order. They also had an "in store" deal going on for 1 large pizza for $9.99, and I asked if that could be applied to my order, since I was "in-store". The manager said no, because we ordered a medium pizza, instead of a large one. This "in store" deal was not advertised anywhere, and the person taking my order (who was different from the manager) did not tell us about the in-store deal at the time of the order. They also had a "buy one large pizza, get one free" deal on the website, but the manager said that was only for online orders. The only good interaction with this store we had for this transaction was that I noticed they showed the mild peppers on the "2 for $6.99" sign immediately after the clerk had taken our order, and she said she would give us some for no charge. Well, it actually cost me about $11 for those, because they did not honor their stated price on the board for the two items. The pizza and breadsticks were very good, but the whole experience for me was ruined by their faulty advertising, and overall very bad management interactions. The store clerk was very nice, and that is why I gave 2 stars instead of only 1. If she would have even advised us of the in-store deal, it would have been better. It will take a lot for me to ever go in there again. read more

3rd time in a row of screwing up a pizza order. This time we paid for an extra large and picked it up and it was a large. Went inside and told not their problem. I would recommend any pizza place over this Papa John's. read more

We have ordered from this Papa John's twice in April and ONCE AGAIN the requested cut was incorrect. One pizza was cut square as requested, one was not. Additionally, the chicken nuggets we received were about twice as many as we ordered. They LOST US AS PAPA JOHN"S CUSTOMERS. They are way more expensive than Pizza Hut or Dominos and they simply cannot get our orders right. And it seems so simple......... read more

Have to say this was the worse experience we had with them on Super Bowl Sunday! We ordered 2 large pizzas and 16 wings to be delivered to Kaiser. After an hour of waiting we called to see what was going on. They said they tried calling us 4 times , but our phone never rang one time! So they refunded our money ( all good). So we decided to use door dash to order again ( large pizza and wings again),but when they show up it's a damn little 10" pizza and the wings???? $30 something dollars and it couldn't even feed 2 people.. Not sure what the deal was , but totally pissed about the service and lack of communication and messing up twice !!!Never again !!!! read more

An hour after order was placed, and app said order was ready, order had "lost", even though employee said it was ready. One and half hours, and multiple employee lies (including manager) we had our pizza. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Soooo slow. Consistently take 30 min or more to even start making the order (as shown on the tracker). Usually forget the extra cheese dip that I pay for. For some reason ring the doorbell and ask me to sign the receipt although I always check "no contact delivery" during COVID. Not worth it for mediocre pizza. read more

Online ordering says 1 hour and it takes over 2. Pizza shows up cold and incomplete. Called the manager and he said that online is "always wrong" and they can't do anything about it. When I said I would have done something different if I would have known it was going to be two hours he suggested Dominoes. I think the managers suggestion is a good one. read more

I see I'm not the first person to rate this store's service so low. I placed a "plan ahead" order online at 11am, for 6pm delivery. I called the store at 4pm to confirm they had it and was told 'yep, we're good'. When I called the store at 615 to find out where my 9 pizzas were for the 20 people at my house, they were just going in the oven. Why would that be? Well, according to the employee yelling at me on the phone "they were unusually busy and it doesn't work that way"....? A plan ahead order works EXACTLY that way William. Had I called at 515 demanding 6pm delivery, sure, it doesn't work THAT way. But a plan ahead order providing 7 hours notice should go in before other call in orders, to meet the time contracted for when I PREPAID. I will NEVER spend my money at the Newburgh Papa Johns again. read more

this is our go-to pizza place. We've got pizza from this location 20-25 times over the last 8 years. The service has always been good. Delivery times have always been reasonable. My favorite crust and garlic butter sauce from any pizza joint. A little disappointed that Papa Johns stopped carrying the CinnaPie dessert pizza though. read more

We don't have em deliver much but they are usually pretty quick when you pick up (like 15-20 mins). Workers are excellent. Really good...highly recommended. read more

I have never in my life been so dissatisfied with the service here. I usually order delivery and this is exactly why. The one night I decided I would pick up from the store I had to wait an HOUR to finally see my food. I was quoted a 25-35 wait time. I go to the store to pick up my food and I get told that they're MAKING IT. Okay whatever, at least it would be fresh. So they tell me it'll be about a ten minute longer wait. This was about 25 min after ordering my food. I was waiting in the drive thru so I had to eventually pull into a space outside because it was taking so long. They said they'd bring it to our car, cool. After waiting at the store for 30 MINUTES, we walked inside to see what was taking so long. Mind you, people were coming and going and delivery drivers were going out so there was food that was done and ours was nowhere to be seen. Well, come to find out the food had been placed on the heat lamp and had been SITTING there. I don't pay money to eat pizza that's been sitting out for 20 minutes while I wait outside the store in my freakin car. Next time I'll just order from Domino's. read more
